@@GOTGames Luke, at the time Cover Corp was exploring different directions while still being a technology company; they started a music publishing company called INNK Music (pronounced "Innonaka") in parallel to Hololive, which was at the time a complete virtual reality content creation and distribution system. INNK had AZKi as the only artist, who built up an impressive body of work quickly. As the dissolution of INNK was imminent, AZKi seamlessly transferred to Hololive which showed her versatility beyond just singing.

Then Sora and A-chan just drag her back to Hololive for just change of pace... It's like a fate that made Suisei become super star today. Ir have more impessed story of Suisei/Azki relation that you will know more when you gi deeper on it. 😊

One of her older, lesser-remembered covers is called "I Was Human". It'll always be one of my favorite AZKi songs.
How I like to describe Suisei’s and Azki’s singing “Suisei = Energizing and inspiring” “Azki = Smooth and calming”
Finally, I have been waiting for this song, it has been long over due.
For more AZKi I recommend 'the last frontier' and ' Fake, Fake, Fake'. But honestly AZKi is one of my favorite singers in hololive, she just doesn't get as much love as she should.
Another recommendation I would add if for Bad End Night, with holostars and hololive, it is an amazing song
Yeah very underrated indeed. It's hard to describe but when AZKI singing her voice really hit different that raw emotion she put so brilliant. You can find any singer with good vocal range or whatever but singer who put such raw emotion when singing is quite rare in Hololive. I'm quite certain after heard AZKI original song afterglow, her voice my god LOL
By the way, something that most people don't seem to know is that she's not only a singer, she's also a composer and a lyricist for many of her songs, including "The Last Frontier".

Azki is honestly one of my top 5 Hololive singers. Super underrated and extremely talented. She has a way to sing with so much emotion effortlessly.
Inochi is Azki White's style of music and you gotta hear Azki Black, it's a whole different style and is soo good.

You're halfway through the Hololive ladies. 16/36 JP, 4/9 ID, and 8/11 EN. If you're looking at Holostars, Rikka's singing is really smooth. He did an original song with Calli called Spiral Tones, and it is SO good.
azki is absolutely amazing, she released so much music over the last 5 years and its all worth checking out of course!
finally, it's Azki's turn. I love her voice so much, she put lots of emotions when she sings and it came out smoothly, sweet and warm. Her karaoke streams are sometimes live acoustic with real guitar and they are sooo awesome. I really wish more people would actually listen to more of her music and just feel how good her voice is. And she also wrote lots of original lyrics/music of her own, very talented.
She's got a very heartwarming voice. My first time to hear her sing, but very cute vocals!

AZKI is an absolute gem of a singer that Hololive has. She did a cover with Watame and it is hands down one of my song that I go to in order to relax.
Still recommending Tsuijuku by Rene Ryugasaki which I also found out is not her first original song but her second.
AZKi is an amazing singer and her specialty is putting emotions into her voice. Her voice is just perfect for such songs, but she has a wide array of very different songs.
She has one, if not the, biggest music catalogue in HoloPro. As part of INNK Music, Inonaka Music, the music label of Cover itself (which Suisei was also a part of for some time) she concentrated mostly on music. She mostly had one stream per month, everything else mostly music. This has changed now after the closing of INNK and her properly joining Hololive
Newer original songs of hers I want to recommend are "canopus" and "afterglow", older ones are "Fake.Fake.Fake" and "Error". Additionally her cover with Rikka "Kakumei Dualism" is fantastic as well.
Azki is amazing. She was the talent that ended up allowong Suisei to get into HoloLive. They had set up a department that she was going to be the only tallent in, but Suisei kept trying to get into HoloLive and they told her "ok, but you will have to be apart of the new department with Azki". Suisei the got ingored for a long time and wasnt supported buy she kept pushing on untill she became as big as she is now
Suisei was just so good they didnt want to refuse her despite INNK not really having the infrastructure to support 2 talents luckily Suisei was allowed to transfer Hololive proper and now Azki is there too despite INNK being now defunct
For those of you who have heard AZki's music, I recommend "The Last frontier", a duet between AZki and SUISEI.
It is the most underrated of all the original Hololive songs, and I hope more and more people, including you, will listen to it.

100% agree that AZKi would be perfect for The First Take as well. I think several Hololive members would be, like Towa and Watame as well. AZKi is super, super talented, the first "VSinger" of Hololive (since she was first a part of INNK Music, the now-defunct official music label of Hololive Productions, of which Suisei was the second member of before she moved into Hololive proper). Again I said, it's still crazy to me that there are so many amazingly talented people in Hololive and the entire Vtuber community as a whole!

Yeah, she’s great. Totally underrated and amazing performer. My highest recommendation for more is her self-penned duet original with Suisei, The Last Frontier.
If you want to know more about what AZKI felt watch her 11th single "From A to Z" the 1st one so you turn cc on. It is basically AZKI finding a reason to continue and her accepting her fate. Another would be my 2nd favorite from her called CHISANA KOKORO GA KIMETA KOTO which was written by AZKI herself. It translates to What my little heart has decided. On the song she wonders if the path she chose was a mistake and that it was hard that she felt like giving up but she decided to continue moving forward. You can turn cc on for it as well to understand or look through the comments for translation.
AZKi of course has incredible singing abilities as well as a large selection of songs to choose from. She is known as the Virtual Diva and a v-singer. She used to be apart of INoNaKa Music. INoNaKa Music and Hololive Production share the same parent company in Cover corp.. INoNaKa Music (aka INNK Music) officially dissolved on April 1, 2022. A lot of AZKi's career was predetermined and she was originally set to graduate too. However, thanks to all the support from the fans she was able to have a new option to transfer to Hololive and continue as AZKi. A couple of my personal recommendations is her cover of "Rise" and her original song "Intersection".
I am still recommending Shion who is my favorite singer in Hololive. My favorite songs from her are "アカシア・シンドローム" (Acacia Syndrome) and her cover of "踊" (Odo).
Everyone know her singing was immaculate, but her dorkiness was what made me stay, her MC and geoguesser streams were entertaining

As for where to go from here, I think "Afterglow" is a perfect follow-on from Inochi thematically, or "The Last Frontier" to hear her and Suisei side by side. Or for a totally different side to her - "ZIKO ALLERGIES". I think you might like that one!
AND, now that you've heard this - I recommend watching a clip of "AZKi and Suisei Inochi". It's an extremely sweet moment, especially if you're a fan of Suisei.

i think the professionalism and quality you're spotting is because Azki isnt just a VTuber, she was hired and managed originally as a VSinger and Cover had its own music label dedicated to promoting her for years, i think the reason Azki is 'underrated' is because most ppl prob just take it for granted shes going to be amazing. It's like, "yeah obviously the pro singer is fantastic, but did you see this streamer over here sing this crazy note?" hahaha I think IRyS has the same issue, shes sounds like Hololive's version of a Disney princess in terms of singing and has a ton of released songs that are bangers but ppl dont talk about her :/ feel bad for the VSingers tbh
I think the problem for VSingers is the origin, the term was used to promote a program, as Vocaloid is not artists. Actually for me VSinger was just a type of eletronic music on China, the same as Vocaloid being eletronic music on Japan, so the range has a paywall, is "niche", just pleases the people that wants eletronic music, avoiding the entire utaite, covers, youtubers and even the 3D animations. Now Vtubers are content creators and streamers doing any kind of entertaiment using a free platform, the range is huge.

Azki had a really slow start, I will say in pair with Sora, it was thanks to Hololive that they could accomplish their dreams.
They wanted to be idols/singers but I think now they are something more than just that.
Hololive is full of good talents, of course not everyone sings, some are good at videogames, other have incredible drawing skills and of course others are so entertaining that you always have a good time, like waiting a week for that show you love as a kid, it has that same feeling.
I really like a cover she did with Marine and Fubuki called Maware! It's on her channel. Easy one of my fav covers in hololive. The title is in japanese, but the thumb shows those 3.
It was about time for some Azki on this channel.
I don't know if you did your homework or if it's just a coincidence, but this date is important since it's the day she officially transferred to Hololive main branch after INoNaKa Music ends activities (April 1st last year).
AZKi may not have sky-high range (like Kanata) or the power of Suisei, but the emotional and feelsy songs, as well as breath control, are her domain.
* I could make a wall of text about her but let's just say that her story is inspiring, her dedication to music is remarkable and she is outrageously underrated!
** There is so much to discover with AZki, she alternate between AZKi WHiTE (J-Pop Idol style), AZKi BLaCK (J-Rock style) and AZKi ReD (Club/Dance style) and has made a wide variety of songs for all tastes. Her new outfit has a VERY BIG nod to all of her forms and colors from the beginning of her journey.
I strongly suggest you to add some of her songs to your list: Sayonara Hero // From A to Z // What my little heart has decided // Without U // Overlight // The Last Frontier (with Suisei) ...I could go on and on but yeah AZKi definitely deserves more attention and respect.
Especially when you think we almost lost her last year if she hadn't fully joined Hololive (what I mean by that is according to AZKi herself, everything was planned from the very beginning of her career with an end in mind. So, every song, every concert, any activities by AZKi was planned way ahead and regardless of the result. They are supposed to end on July 2022).
So it's all thanks to all of those who supported her and contributed to her current journey that we can still enjoy her talent today!

So AZKi was originally debuted as a Vsinger inder Cover Corps InoNaka Music. So much of her early youtube content is music focused and with large gaps between videos. Last year to the day April 1st, 2022 she was moved to gen 0 as Inonaka closed it's doors so she has been doing more variaty and gaming content since.
Suisei was also debuted as a Vsinger, allowing her to keep her name and model before she also moved to gen 0.
IRyS was the final talent billed as a Vsinger but has informally been rolled into EN gen 2 council (councilRyS)
Aki Rosenthal is another one to be checked out at some point soon. I try to make it to the hololive Tuesday streams when I can. But kinda hard with work. Surgery days at the vet clinic so I'm typically busy. But yes, Aki Rosenthal is one I hope to see reactions to.

AZKi is a professional singer. AZKi was the Virtual Diva under INNK/InoNaka Music which is COVER CORP's music label. And just like the name InoNaka Music focused only on creating musics.
YES, AZKi was a VSinger, at the time she not yet a Vtuber before she got transferred into Hololive.
Suisei was also 2nd VSinger under InoNaka music as well (Suisei was an Indie Vtuber before joined InoNaka Music).
Suisei got transferred to HOLOLIVE (which also under COVER CORP) later on, and after long followed by AZKi because the closing of InoNaka Music. Now AZKi has become Hololive's VTuber as well. And i think she doing much well.
So, Sora is Hololive first OG VTuber, while AZKi was InoNaka first OG Vsinger (Virtual Diva).

azki&irys karaoke singing steam that so amazing
Azki and Suisei were signed to INNK as a unit initially, if you can imagine what that sounded like. Then when Hololive started getting big Suisei tried out - and didn't make it. Azki continued in INNK while Suisei went indie and polished her live skills (and then came back and stormed the company). Now INNK is gone and both of them have joined the vtuber side. The two have a *very* deep history.
I've not been able to keep up with the twitch streams, but the Hololive member I'm most surprised you haven't reacted to on YT is Murasaki Shion.

To be fair Azki used to be Vtuber second, singer first. She used to be part of INNK (Inonaka music), Hololive Production's (The parent comapny of Hololive and Holostars) own music label featuring Azki and Suisei as their singers. Later on Suisei moved over to Hololive becoming part of JP gen 0, leaving only Azki under INNK, but not too long ago with the closure of INNK Azki also officially became part of Hololive under JP gen 0 with Sora, Roboco, Miko and Suisei.

Dear Luke, it boggles ones mind how criminally underated some songs / artists in Hololive are.
I Questioned from your discord if they know some songs, some didnt even know those songs.
Those songs are amazing but just not known because there is no Music Video tied to it (a Topic Channel Video) which is very sad.
Since those songs are barely known it is Very Likely they will never get recommended in a Twitch vote, and if that happens, People will just not know it and in return dont react to it.

Vsinger is slightly different than Vtuber, they mostly focus on singing and they don't stream that much (not applicable to IRyS maybe www).
I do recommend you listening to "Last Frontier" which Suisei and AZKi sang together. this song is a really good one and I love it(also because these two are considered one of the best if not the best in Hololive).

well if you had to ask Hololive's second Vsinger keep in mind there are only two is AZKI and the second is IRyS. her first song is Caesura of Despair but a personal favorite which is more recent is Gravity

i don't know if you would react to vtuber other than hololive but if you do may i recommend you checking out machita chima from nijisanji, preferably the caro mio ben cover? she's one of the best vtuber singer period.
Inui Toko, Hayase Sou, Asahina Akane, Levi Elipha, I could go on. Nijisanji is LOADED with incredibly talented singers as well, I'm glad to see people finally starting to suggest them lately. There are also multitudes of small corpo and indie vtubers that are also outstanding. Unfortunately English speaking fans often tend to neglect vtubers that aren't Hololive and essentially pretend they don't exist, so it's difficult to get them suggested for these sort of things.
