Steenfott Aquatics It’s funny how the before video has more plants in my aquarium shop
"why pay an employee....I can get a snail to do all the work" lol seriously he sounds like a wonderful boss.... No Cory is awesome, great video Bob!!!!
New Warehouse Position..... Plant Fluffer! Great video. It really shows the Co-op and Cory's commitment to quality and value.
hahahaha
Awesome video! I was cracking up when you tried not to laugh when Cory said he was a master aquatic horticulturist.. lol
😁
Haha, I subconsciously expected the end screens music from Aquarium Co-Op videos to pop up at the end. Great job showing all the behind-the-scenes work that goes into selling aquarium plants. Hope I can visit the warehouse (and the famous Bob himself) one day. 😉
lol
*heavy breathing* I wish I had that much to spend on aquarium plants. Thanks for the behind the scenes footage.
Wow. Who knew it would be so complicated to get plants from the wholesalers? Great vid Bob! Thanks for sharing and glad that Cory could spend so much time with you.
This "PLANT" behind the scenes is actually great information for us hobbyists! Thank you Bob and Cory!
Great video. I love to see how much testing Cory does. It shows he has integrity, many businesses just push out products, good or bad, to make money.
Couldn't agree more!
Wow thats a great insight. So many logistics involved in that operation
Yea, it's kind of crazy.
He manages his business like an aquarium.
Thanks Bob for taking the time to show us the behind the scenes of the plants for the co-op
Hi Cory , you are the dream boss everyone's been searching for. You business savvy and through you actions it shows how much you care about your employees. Lot of businesses could learn a Lot from you.
I order all my plans from aquarium co-op now. Great to see how it's done.
Corey, I love your plants. You are a dying breed. You truly love what you do. Instead of trying to cut corners to save yourself money, you go the extra mile for your customers. You should make a video of the shipping / preparing the plants. I appreciate all the extra steps you add to protect the plants. I know when ordering from Aquarium Co Op they will be the best that you can provide. I really enjoy your videos and ordering from your store. 🤗😘
Yup, way above the competition.
Now people know all the work that goes into importation. Cory was generous to share through you but then he got some free labour.,lol. Two good points roots more important than shoots and snails are like earthworms as you put it. In 80s tried to import orchids from England.
No documents, plants dead out big $$. In 90s had to deal with SF area APHIS people. Our noob botanist was trying to collect cloud forest plants in Malaysia. Didn't clean clean them properly and I got chewed out. We'd had large numbers of plants from Chiapas but but he collected 70K different plants from there. Point is state's ag business can be severely affected by imported pests and viruses, like Calif and Citrus. Texas owes its fire ants to a 5 gallon can from Florida.
Welcome to our world of quarantine and laws regarding what you can and cannot get. Cheers from Australia.
A highly detailed process. Never knew all those shipping particulars. Thanks for sharing this Bob & to Cory for helping us have the best plants possible. 📺👍😎
It was fun to see the process.
That’s a great video Bob! Appreciate the behind the scenes look!
Loved this video of behind the scenes !! This makes me want to order more plants..lol Thank you 😊 Ps You had great form loading those boxes in the van. ;) lol
Cool tour Bob! Lots of cool plants at the Coop
Great video and content Bob and Cory. Fascinating and good for people to know the logistics, I sure appreciate the quality and care.🙏
Much appreciated!
Glad to see this video knowing you have plants in stock!. Just ordered $100 worth of plants. Every plant I've bought has been awesome. Here's a little secret people....use the Co-op fertilizer and you can't go wrong. Thanks for telling me about the pest snails Cory, I'll stop stressing over then so much. Always love the videos. I'm coming to the store this coming Wednesday, can't wait to see the store you've worked so hard to create.
I'm glad that you show what all is involved in this industry so people are more aware of the reasons plants and fish are priced the way they are. There is so much more to it than meets the eye and clarification gives us knowledge to understand and realize the justification of the work, pricing etc of the items involved. Thank you for the insight.
Beautiful look at the near end of the supply chain. Luckily live things are not usually kept in rolling storage. I have delt with that and it is a logistical exercise for sure.
Cool to see and learn about the process!
awesome video, guys! Great insight for us.
Awesome! Great to see you and Cory making some vids together. Good stuff. 👍
More to come!
Interesting. Good insight into the process of importing. I saw some plants I needed to order!
It was hard walking out without any plants lol
Thank you for such a cool and informative video!!’
@AquariumCoop thought, use a reef wave maker pump for the Christmas moss to help suspend the debris.
Any pumps in the tanks get clogged with debris because so much emersed growth comes off of them. We have tried. The next test will be a network of airstones
Oh man, that ammania gracilis looks beautiful!
Thanks bob keep up the grate work
Great background on how the import works
Great video. Thanks, Bob.👍
Glad you enjoyed it
If i lived in a perfect world i would own a aquatics store. I would feel like a kid in a candy store.
Great video man!
Thanks for sharing. 😀
Love the video!!
I really enjoyed this. Great content, editing, and pacing. Now I’m trying to resist the urge to buy plants.
Thanks =)
Resistance is futile🤣
Thank you, this is really interesting!
Glad you think so!
Great video!

Awesome video!
Thanks!
Alright Bob I see you with the change of videos, nice
Great video
Awesome
That’s neat how this works
Pond snails rule
Awesome. Surprised thatCory himself doesnt share footage like that with us!
I’ve done it in the past on my channel. Most people just haven’t watched all 1000 videos
@@AquariumCoop true, but I am sure you're going through many upgrades that you could film and I would love to see it. Also I do not care if every fish unboxing has the same fish. I still need to see it!
Is this the new co op mobile. Nice.
2nd 😊 Awesome video like always
Like the 👕 cory, Cory.
need to hire a fluffed for them coconuts
Good job ordering and taking the risk
Oh love to be let loose in there!
Hi Bob
Crypts are hooked up so fat! I got 20 sprouts out of crypt tropica from AQcoop
If your plants are being shipped to you in emersed form then why do you not continue to grow them emersed until time to ship? Aren't they more efficient at CO2 uptake and grow faster that way? Is it just more important to you that they transition on your end instead of when the customer receives them?
Anyone know what farm the Florida plants come out of?
👍👍
Do you know what lights they are using on these tanks?
Fluval 3.0
What is brand ambassador Bob per last video. Cheers on your new adventure.
Very cool video...I wish I had a green thumb but I kill everything 😔
Whete can I get the pond pest snail?
Joel been busy building the new co op plant facility. So this is what happens when covid limits his travel.
How many neurite snails should a 55g tank have?
I would do like 6 personally. But you could do more if you wanted.
@@SteenfottAquatics thanks
That's why my lfs doesn't have any plants 🤣
I'll sell you my pond snails by the pound.. only reason I don't like them is because they were accidental and they're stealing all the food from my otocinclus and nerites
I hate snails and "pest" snails, personal preference. Makes me reconsider potentially buying plants from your co-op, since there may be hitchhikers with the order.
i dont like pond snail, they killed my guppys and shrimps . fish sleep at night, they gonna crawl them
No you have bad water if your fish died lol they dont hunt fish
That’s not $60,000
Good marketing strategy though lol
You're right, it was actually more. The retail value.
Steenfott Aquatics Lol nah that’s like 2k max
@@car77777 I am not sure how you can make an assumption without even knowing how many plants there were.
