Walt Disney World Trip Announcement - April 2024

Yes - I know that the last Walt Disney World Vlog Series has only just finished, but the next one is about to start! Are you ready for another Disney World Travel Day with us?
This quick trip announcement video will tell you our plans for our upcoming trip. Want to know where we are staying? What we are planning? Where we are dining? What tours we are doing? Well it is all here for you! Grab a cuppa or something stronger and come and find out what we will be bringing you in this brand new Walt Disney World vlog series!
Of course, we want you involved as well! So drop your questions in the comments and tell us what you would like to see in the vlog series - and we will include it! You can also message us on Instagram or Facebook! So come along with us!

Just watched your Animal Kingdom day, Homecoming vlog and you mentioned hotel move, so being a nosey person I am, watching the trip announcement now. So excited to see the Wilderness Lodge vlogs, staying there in November but not the DVC building, we stayed there in 2000 and they were building Copper Creek when we were there. Hope you enjoyed your stay there (I expect you're back by now). 😊

We stayed in Copper Creek and it is a very nice resort. I’ve stayed there once before back in 2015 - in the non DVC main building. Interestingly, I much preferred my first stay there.
We were on the ground floor this time, near to the pool. It was a bit noisy and we couldn’t have our door open at night. They couldn’t move us sadly.
Plus it was much more of a family resort than what we have experienced at Grand Floridian, Saratoga Springs, Riviera, Yacht Club and to a certain degree Animal Kingdom Lodge too. There was no quiet pool option either at WL, which we didn’t like. So many obnoxious parents, sat next to you, who repeatedly shouted their kids name, over and over and over, whilst you’re trying to relax.
If I’m honest, I probably wouldn’t choose to stay there again. I loved the lobby though and the restaurants are awesome too. And the boat to MK was wonderful.
I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time though. You’re probably more child - and obnoxious parent - friendly then we are lol 😂

I highly recommend investing in the refillable moonshine containers. Makes for cheep drinks.
They sell these at chef arts?
Yes. You can also get refills anytime you are in DS at the bar.
Did you know that the Wilderness Lodge is the only Disney Resort with its own mascot? It's Humphrey the Bear. The Wilderness Lodge is built in the shape of a bear. You can only see this from a boat on the bay - at night.

I love the one from the funnel cake stand in Epcot; the pina colada one. It was amazing 😋

Next time stay longer - stay for free with us! We can do some Non-disney Florida stuff and go to the beach place.
I would love to stay for longer, but David gets very limited annual leave and so it’s hard to balance my Disney with his world travels lol 😂
