Public education is important, and as an educator I see how cool it is to inspire students with the future, but history matters. People who don’t know history don’t know THE CONSTITUTION PROTECTS PEOPLE’s GOD-GOVEN RIGHTS FROM GOVERNMENT-the Constitution doesn’t grant you rights, it protects your rights from government action.
If you understand this then you see why “conservative” judges are not at all conservative and public education is not about reinventing the wheel, it’s about learning how the wheel was invented so you don’t get marginalized, oppressed, and murdered like all our ancestors did 🧐🤓🤨
The reason it's cruel and unnecessary punishment is because they never handled the problem so it don't exist
If you charge the fine at 1200 these people wouldn't be sleeping in the street if they had 1200
A lot of people on the streets are on SSDI and SSI but it's not enough to live anywhere. So what's going to happen is they're going to drain what little savings these people have that they need for an emergency or to stay in a hotel every so often. If they can't come up with thousands in fines, they'll begin to garnish the SSDI or SSI. Making a horrible situation worse.
If I were a billionaire I would buy every vacant house, repair them and give them to the homeless..
How many houses can you buy with a billion dollars?

I agree with you! The homeless Veteran was turned away by Chicago police station. They were allowing illegal Immigrant to eat and sleep at the police department and gave a stern No when the veteran asked if he could sleep or get something to eat! Now THAT MAKES ME ANGRY!
So punish the homeless while they are down. Why not help the homeless and then clean the areas
