Now you think about it, everyone trashing GimGoon on that 2019 FPX roster should now realize that he was probably the only toplaner in that crazy era to hold onto TheShy's relentless attack, and even matched on even terms with him in their series playing in semis. GimGoon peak was so underestimated. Surely he is not a flashy mechanical god, but the ability to hold onto even terms with probably every other toplaner is pretty insane, that man was extremely patient and adaptive.
I had the same problem with vanguard showing its on, but league telling me I need to restart. I ended up just fully resetting my PC and it worked
16:04 : a common misconception, powering down your pc and turning it back on is not actually a restart. Most PC's will just save up everything in a loading file and never truly clean that up. Using the Restart-Option outright or changing the setting of what happens with temporary data on turn off are the only ways to actually restart.
I feel like IG disbanding could be a huge deal. Does this mean that the chinese owners are slowly starting to pull out due to the huge cost and losses? Maybe they will start lowering salaries as well which makes it worse for korean imports.
It will be good cuz then everyone will retire in NA cuz they will have largest salary and then win LCS every time and then Represent LCS at msi and gg NA will become a major region again !!
But in all seriousness theres a huge chance we get like an LEC situation but i dont think other teams neccessarily face this issue i think its just iG

They started as a Dota org and they've completely pulled out of that basically last couple years. Iirc the owner is just some billionaires kid so he probably shifted interests or smthing.

The FNC post about them not winning another title is true. I mean... Fnatic lost games fighting for Gromp with a 6k lead, can't be anymore soloqueue than that.
I think the "almost beat G2" is exactly that, almost... When G2 plays like: let's pretend FNC is a korean team" they just exploit FNC misses and ints then win easy.
The Vitality vs Fnatic series while entertaining was an obvious throwback to S1 gameplay.
I am not hating, nor ranting, but when Fnatic gets to a real team, I am just waiting for Razork to say "We can win!!!" and overchase and instead of a 1 for 0 or 1 for 1... all 5 Fnatic players die and the game is over.
I don't get the hate NA gets compared to EU. Yeah the region can be very hit or miss, but NA legit has a higher overall winrate at worlds over the last 3 years, and the head to head is even in the last 3 years maybe even favoring NA. NA does this with half the playerbase.

how can u be a professional player and not be challenger on the boards i dont get it if ur not challenger why are they pro i bet they are in other regions but not NA always want free money and the easiest way possible for the minimum amount of work what happen to people taking pride in there work and show some effort
That is not even remotely true. NA pros work just as hard as anywhere else. They just don't have the same resources that other regions do. A challenger soloq game in NA takes 30-60 minutes in queue time and isn't that high quality. And let's not act like its easy money. Half the best players in the league aren't even on a team right now, and the entirety of flyquest had to spend time off a team because of poor performances before coming back after a break.
Inspired and Bwipo legit took long breaks from professional play just because they couldn't make a team, and they look so much better than before the break. Don't know many pro's who do that. Jensen although not as good has looked better this split than he has in the last 3 years. Fudge who was top 3 top laner in NA and went from the worst top laner in 2020 to one of the best, just got cut. Just an unlucky split with teams built with rookie and unrefined talent.
You need to play a lot of time to be challenger. And scrims dont count for that time. Neither does any of the team stuff
