Here is what you should have done. Talk clearly to the bride about food and accommodation arrangements. If not, you just stay in thanjavur hotel for a night and early morning book a cab to go there, do your make up and come back to room, sleep for some time then go back to coimbatore. You should take care of your food and accommodation. Without communicating anything in prior, you will go to a place thinking that that other person will give you food and accommodation and treat you like a guest? You call yourself professional then be one.

I had worst experience with makeup artist for my wedding 😢... i have booked same person for engagement and wedding.. I am ok with engagement look...but i had very worst experience on my big day.. actually We committed three make up look.. one was pen azhaipu..then morning mugurtham nd reception look on afternoon.. I got calls many times before she came to my house to do the make up on the day. So.i ask to come 6pm clk..but she didn't spend even 1/2 hr time nd she didn't arranged bridal jewellery set which I asked then groom side came 9pm..but i am not ok with that make up look nd i had wear that new saree own .. then she won't come for mugurtham makeup on time i have made call to her then she sent her assistant ...she doesn't do proper make up .. actually i can't do anything in that situation due to heavy rain and my sister have some health issue...after marriage i went to that parlour nd fight with her for their improper work ...but she easily said u don't want to pay or ur wish..but the thing is she was spoiled my look on my big day😡..i have feel for that everytime i have seen my marriage album 😢.. but there is no any money issue...she didn't respect our feelings.. actually i have directly went to that parlour nd explain about my looks nd jewellery set on before marriage..still now i can't digest that experience...

Sorry it happened to you in our district thanjavur. I still have a good connect with my make-up artist who did makeup on my wedding even after 12yrs. I recommended her for a holy communion function makeup to my sil. After finalizing for 10k. My sil made her to do makeup for 2 more people. But didn't give the amount. Later i settled the amount to the artist. Sil didnt settle the balance and went to her home state. I got scoldings from my husband for involving in this. 😡

Here is what you should have done. Talk clearly to the bride about food and accommodation arrangements. If not, you just stay in thanjavur hotel for a night and early morning book a cab to go there, do your make up and come back to room, sleep for some time then go back to coimbatore. You should take care of your food and accommodation. Without communicating anything in prior, you will go to a place thinking that that other person will give you food and accommodation and treat you like a guest? You call yourself professional then be one.

If this is wht ur going through, I would like to make a suggestion " Y dont u prepare a contract listing all the things that should and shouldn't take place, if both parties r ok with this agreement then accept the bridal order. Y i am saying this is bcoz contracts r a very strong legal evidence, so u wouldn't have to suffer so much.

I had worst experience with makeup artist for my wedding 😢... i have booked same person for engagement and wedding.. I am ok with engagement look...but i had very worst experience on my big day.. actually We committed three make up look.. one was pen azhaipu..then morning mugurtham nd reception look on afternoon.. I got calls many times before she came to my house to do the make up on the day. So.i ask to come 6pm clk..but she didn't spend even 1/2 hr time nd she didn't arranged bridal jewellery set which I asked then groom side came 9pm..but i am not ok with that make up look nd i had wear that new saree own .. then she won't come for mugurtham makeup on time i have made call to her then she sent her assistant ...she doesn't do proper make up .. actually i can't do anything in that situation due to heavy rain and my sister have some health issue...after marriage i went to that parlour nd fight with her for their improper work ...but she easily said u don't want to pay or ur wish..but the thing is she was spoiled my look on my big day😡..i have feel for that everytime i have seen my marriage album 😢.. but there is no any money issue...she didn't respect our feelings.. actually i have directly went to that parlour nd explain about my looks nd jewellery set on before marriage..still now i can't digest that experience...

I recommended her for a holy communion function makeup to my sil. After finalizing for 10k. My sil made her to do makeup for 2 more people. But didn't give the amount. Later i settled the amount to the artist. Sil didnt settle the balance and went to her home state. I got scoldings from my husband for involving in this. 😡

Not only for u some male photographers also faced horrible situation worse than u mostly they are not giving full money to photographers defenitely they who conducts function reduced rs 500 or 1000 on their payment...but defenitely i really feel sad for ur situation not only for u most beauticians in tamilnadu have gone through this situation...they marriage conducting persons not know the pain of working people....i quit my photography profession because of the same problem u faced.
