Activation, Fox, and Warner Bros all refused to help Nightdive figure out which of those three companies owned the rights to the franchise.
i hope that i one day does get a remaster or a remake/reboot, just as long as they kept the story and aesthetics intact. NOLF is a game series very much set in a spy film universe of the 60s that has loving parody, like a mixture of the classic bond films and austin powers, but with a female leading lady who is a good example of a strong female character. confident, capable, strong willed, beautiful, genuinely witty, and with a good heart. if they did a remake/reboot, maybe have some small glimpses into her past as 'the fox'. small improvements to make stealth a good option, but also make sure that you can go guns blazing in an enjoyable fashion when the time comes to give HARM and the various nare-do-wells a lead injection. give kate some pugilist skills, and maybe if you have some special takedowns on enemies, go with a nice blend of humour and serious skill. Like kate kicking a sentry in the balls before either socking them in the face or snapping their neck. that kind of thing.

i REALLY dunno how you manage to post videos about my ALL TIME favourite games, a day or 2 after i thought about them and was feeling nostalgic. Example : yesterday i was looking outside the window, wishing there was snow, and i started thinking about the snow level in NOLF2 and how peacefull i felt as a kid, watching those snowflakes fall in game.. Today i am back there thanks to you. This has happened as well with other games such as Rage 1, Blood 2 and HEXEN >:D I said it before and i WILL say it again, this is my hearts fav channel.
We really need to come together to convince Warner Bros. to let NightDive Studios work on a remaster for this series instead of figuring out who owns what. Just take the risk dammit.
I'm currently replaying NOLF 2 and I am very impressed with how well it has held up after so many years. Also, it runs really well on my ancient laptop. Great job by the developers.
The Cold War is going to be rebooted before NOLF is. lol.
just have to say i love your channel. its like a timemachine beeing 12-16 again.
Dear Gman, have you thought of reviewing the Legacy of Kain series. It's like Shakespeare with DOUBLE the murder!
This is one of my favs - I wish there was a modern game like it
It's so funny, scary, action loaded and all around a good time. Period
Ok I need to know who does the art
love when gman insults my mom, is what keeps me coming back to his videos
"That next plateau of presentation"
Of which Monolith contributed Al la FEAR, funny enough
3:34 I wasn't aware Gavin Free was in this game
I loved this game when I was a kid, I need to play it again, but God damn, I actually liked Contract Jack, and you tore it to absolute shreds, nothing wrong with that, but owch.
That “your mums phone number” line got a chuckle out of me😂
I can't believe monolith hasn't released anything since shadow of war
"Yes sir. I mean no sir. I mean. I mean yes to the first part, and no to the other part - sir!" yeah, NOLF is some of the best games and has some of the most memorable dialogues ever
Back when no one had a problem with a female lead character BS. Marvelous time, Marvelous game
Gman greetings from Massachusetts, United States. You’re literally the best reviewer on RUclips, most of them are just SHEEET. Keep it up man.
Yes, back when games were games.
Love ur feedback on music & audio mate!
she's pretty
NOLF 1 & 2 were some of the most fun games i've ever played, to this day. I'll never forget the mimes shouting "i am damaged!" 😄
"right before Doom 3 and Half Life 2" 2 years later only after Call of Duty, Max Payne 2, UT2K3, Rainbow 6 3, and Splinter Cell. But yeah, "right before"
I found and became a big fan of you and your channel after watching you old reviews for both of these games. And both of them are two of my favorite games of all times now.
I'd much rather have a remaster of the first one, not the second one....
One could only hope for both.
