A song about stubbornly pushing through your problems with no outside help, even if its tearing you apart inside and out (I think at least) really deserves to be the longest song you have made. This is a great project all the way through, all of your music is so underrated, keep up the good work!

This song hits hard for me. I have only slept an hour an a half in the last 24 hours. I'm stuck on my bed, dizzy and unable to get up without falling down, while I just wait for it all to stop. 10/10 didn't expect one of your songs to hit me like this.

Wow... I'm speechless. Understanding the lyrics and identifying with them while dancing to the melody makes you burst into tears, but at the same time, it pushes you to keep going because (despite going through difficult times) we have managed to overcome them... Or at least, in my case, I've learned how to forget them to avoid tormenting myself with those thoughts.
Although I know that forgetting is not the solution, it is one of the alternatives to cope with our pain. In the end, what really matters is not to forget, but to heal and continue moving forward, knowing that you are yourself.

This is amazing! It can be difficult to make songs longer than 3-4 minutes so having one come out this long that you lose track of time listening too is so good! Can't wait to add this to my casual spotify playlist!

This is excellent. Its darker tone is somewhat similar to Antihuman and one part of World of Everything, and I personally like this style quite a lot.
Ivy has a niche portion of their audience that immediately adopted this song as an instant favorite because it describes their situation uncomfortably well. I am firmly within this portion and i had to stop and rewind the first time i paid attention to the lyrics.
Story for those who care:
Moved to phoenix az to attend a tech school and basically everything is falling apart around me. Not only does this song apply to me in the metaphorical sense, it applies to me in the literal sense as well.

Wow! and i mean wow. This song is incredible! The visual effects of VIVA swapping between the others and allowing each to shine, and the background slowly dissolving into glitches just as VIVA was at the end, was INSANE. Not even mentioning the incredible instrumental and lyrics!

I just woke up and listened to the whole song, and I got shocked that it’s a 7 minute long song. Loved the desperate feeling vocals on this one. What’s the best part is that when reaching the end of the song I still couldn’t understand the meaning of the song until the last part. When the last word was said, everything just *dawned* on me. Great song, pretty unique.

I don’t typically enjoy songs this long, but the story told through the lyrics more than makes up for it. Going through something thats breaking you apart inside, and pushing away everyone who’s trying to help is something I still struggle with. The verse from 4:13-4:55 almost perfectly reflects me
I have never really understood what or why have I felt so awful lately and I eventually found this video which sums up what I have been feeling and it's actually kinda scary- I have this obsession with finishing a promise I made three years ago with my old friends, they eventually left me behind and I still haven't made any progress and it makes me feel this empty feeling in my chest, after some eventful things between me and my old group I have been keeping a lot of my problems to myself. Thank you for making this masterpiece of a song I hope you grow bigger because you've motivated me to find help now that I have a better idea of what I am doing to myself and I should probably go find help before I sink deeper into whatever this obsession is. This has got to be possibley my favorite song you have wrote Ivy and Stephenafro amazing vocals and dynamics. Now a day you don't hear dynamics in the songs, not nearly as much as your's it's beautiful. You two make a good song making team. I like this song, but it is a hard song for me to listen to. It has nothing to do with the production or performance, none of it is bad, I actually think this is in my top 3 songs from all of you, but it is hard to listen to. The vocals are so raw and filled with pain and it just, hits, you know? I know Ivy posted on twitter that it was a song about murder, but when I hear and read the lyrics, I get a strong sense that is just a metaphor for body dysmorphia. That's what I got out of the song. I was on the verge of tears when I heard it the first time a couple days ago. No song has ever made me cry, and this one almost got me there. All this to say: I love your music, thank you.

Can we talk about the message here? The way I’m seeing it, it’s about someone who prides themself on everything you’d think makes a ‘strong person.’ Letting go of their ego, having the will to keep going time and time again without support, taking challenges on like it’s nothing, actively learning how to survive and thrive and pushing themself to ascend personally and to get to where they want to go. But they’ve made one major issue. They’ve closed themself off.
The narrator talks about nobody being able to abandon them if they have nobody to begin with and having an ‘untouchable’ heart due to them having ripped it out. They’ve closed themself off from having a connection with others. The narrator mentions not having a home or soul and building Nirvana from their trauma. They’re identifying with their trauma and loss and closing themself off from anything new.
In the end, the narrator regardless of whatever they’ve found on their journey has grown to regret living like this. That disregard for their emotional well-being wound up being their downfall. Where willpower and pride once stood is now but an empty hole of regret. Without that will to carry on, they begin to slip.
Nearing the end now beyond any chance to change the past, the narrator realises that surviving to see the next rise isn’t a worthy life if there’s nothing to live for. Then right before sinking in, they finally reach up and ask for help only because there’s nothing left to live. And the thing is, that’s it. By doing that one thing, the narrator has abandoned their pride. Now they have no one, nothing and they can’t even say they were stubborn enough to keep going. And now it’s over.
The narrator presumably died with nothing to say about it and nobody to remember them. The end.

He got *better* at it all eventually, but I still vibe with his darkest chapters. The need to push with such strain that everything shatters, just to drag myself together and keep up the battlefront.

Tell me if I’m wrong, but I think the characters we’ve been seeing in Ivy’s songs are the ghosts that possess this character, we can clearly see Moka and the one from the Luminescent(I’m sorry, I don’t know their name)appear in the video. I also suspect that the original consciousness of the body is represented by purple secondary coloring and rainbow ears.

Hey Ivy, I have been a long time fan, and I wanted to congratulate you and everyone who worked on the song. It turned out amazing. But I connect to this song in more ways than one. I have been running myself ragged and working almost 17 hour days for the last month and a half and my family, has been dying rapidly due to all kinds of different cancers, some of them being genetic cancers. This song perfectly describes how I have been feeling inside. I keep pushing myself harder and harder, hoping that I can reach freedom, but I work myself till I collapse, till my body can't go on, but even then by the sheer force of will I make myself go on. But in the last 2 minutes of your song is what I fear the most. that I'm going to fall back down onto the sand, and I won't be able to pick up the pieces anymore. I don't know how my poor mother does it. I want to be as strong as her but I don't know how. . .
