- Have you booked your cruise on the Norwegian Getaway but still aren't sure where to eat? In today's adventure, we'll take you through each of the FREE dining options like the Garden Café buffet, O'Sheehan's pub and the Main Dining Rooms.
We'll also cover the specialty dining restaurants like Cagney's Steakhouse, Moderno Churrascaria and Le Bistro restaurants. We've even got the Kids menu so that you know what to expect.

My first two cruises were on Norwegian and the food was always exceptional to my memory. My last cruises have been on carnival because I’ve been going with other family members or children but from this video I will be booking a cruise on Norwegian cruise line even if it’s by myself.

I will be cruising on the Getaway 03Nov24 for my birthday and to get the needed 4 latitudes points I'll need after the next cruise which will bring me to the Sapphire level! That cruise will be on the Jade 24Mar25 for a 10 day cruise through the Panama Canal and on to Tampa FL.

I only wish the room service was a wider menu.

O'Sheehan's is not open 24hrs. It like several MDR's closes between meal times
You know, funny you should mention that. I too thought that they must close down at some point and could only say that every time I walked by they were in deed open.
To be sure, before I stated that in the video, I did check the NCL website and took them at their word on the hours. See below and thanks for sharing your experiences! It's been nice corresponding with you.

The steaks at Cagney's Steakhouse are not always WELL DONE! If you order medium rare it comes medium rare!
Yes, that is usually our experience. Paul goes back and forth between rare and medium rare. My mom is always well done and I lean towards Medium Well. However, on the night we ate here my steak was more on the medium rare side and the team there took care of it right away.
I was there in Feb, and ordered mine to be MOOING, and it was. Purple! Just like I like it!
