You the RC guy I’m light weight jealous of (cause I want your skills and builds) but gotta love 😅. Your attention to detail is top notch! All your builds are awesome 🤩 thanks for sharing these!
Thank you so much bro! Anything is possible. I learned everything hands on. I appreciate you noticing my details and work. This means a lot. Thank you.
That's awesome! I want to thank you for pioneering the CC-01 lowrider, I've just finished making my own with a Clod body. Doesn't sit as low as yours does but I'm pretty happy with it. Can I ask what servos you're using? They look pretty quick, mine are (for now) cheap TowerPros. Thanks again for building and sharing!
This is great to hear, im very glad I was able To pass that onto you. This has made my day thank you!! 👌👌 The servos at the time were redcats gold case servos which are the same as the reefs 300. They were a little too fast so I switched to the redcat racing 25kg servos. Im using a bec set at 6.8 volts and a 2s lipo battery.
Honest question. Is it possible to like maybe buy one of these lowrider RC cars complete. Not one of yours, of course.. just like one someone built. I would love to just have one and drive it around 🥰🥰
Yes most definitely, just be prepared to spend a good amount of money. Ive seen some go for up to 1k. Theres a few fb pages related to the redcat lowriders. You may find some for sale on there. There are some amazing cars out there.
It's okay but those rims are to small for the fenderwells and it needs to sit waaaay lower and it would be one off even more..just my opinion but it doesn't matter what I thinks it's yours hah
Yea you are definitely right, I always roll with the spokes though. I wish the shell was able to sit a little lower. Based being built on a custom tamiya CC-01 chassis that I converted to become a lowrider rc. Thats the lowest I can get that shell to sit based on how the chassis is. Unless I cut more of the chassis up for it to sit lower. It still looks good as a cruiser.
@TheDsnvogues oh yes it does..get bigger spokes and maybe if you could slim the chassis down to have the body actually sit lower...you could always cut the chassis in half and back half it with one of rc everyday rat rod chassis rails haha
