True. You can also use an FA there to compensate for expertise, they know their way around the market and taxes better. I've been using one since covid and I'm stunned that most people don't use this but prefer "gambling" and complaining they lost their money. As crazy as it sounds some still make enormous returns from this seemingly unknown market. gotta be greedy when others are fearful

I'm MUCH more interested in buying stocks now that they are cheap. You can't just sit on cash waiting for the market to drop 10% before you start buying. The best strategy is to start buying in slowly and then gradually increase the pace of buying as the prices continue to drop. Cash isn't king at all in this era

No commissions on buying/selling. Forex charges to convert inr to usd and transfer money to your brokerage account around 1% by sbm bank (if you use vested direct) + 45 rs GST for transfers upto INR 25000. Above that also, its negligible gst (something like 90 rs for 50000 or so). $11 (drivewealth fee) when you withdraw from brokerage account to bank account. That too you can do it once for a large amount and save costs. I have used vested for almost a year. Its pretty smooth and simple in terms of experience.

@@ChahitKumar Mutual fund is better. I personally invested in Navi Nifty 50 index fund as it has very low expense ratio (comission).
@@sivamdc expense ratio is ok. There is something called tracking error. That also needs to be lower so the fund returns are replicating the index
