    Tears roll down to see the hard work done to create a musical instrument. It is easy to buy from a shop, hard to play but very difficult to create. Paying my tributes to those souls for entertaining us for centuries through their workmanship. Their names may be not known much but shall be remembered. Hats off!

    I bought a tabla from a maker and paid about 20k for it, and someone told me I overpaid. But, watching the incredible skill and hard work that goes into making a tabla, I now feel that, even if it was 30k, it would have been worth it! What an amazing craft!

    • @mohitmorris
      @mohitmorris 2 года назад +6

      @@kaishk1091 stupid? Maybe. But only for someone for who measures everything in Rupees and Paise. But, for a small tabla maker, an overpaying customer
      was a life changing experience, because a friend of ours tested the tabla for which I overpaid, and he liked it so much, that he's playing that very tabla in his studio sessions. And as a result, an unknown, small shop tabla maker has sold over 300 tabla sets by recommendation of a professional studio artist. Stupid? I don't think so, because Raju Bhai, the tabla maker, not only gifted me a free tabla, but promised me that whenever I need a tabla, it will always be free for me.
