I Served in B-Co, 26th Signal Bn 1974-1979, great memories. Miss Heilbronn a lot. Thanks for showing the barracks.

I was there from 81-84. C Co 26th Signal Battalion. Bruce, I remember the cross and the Red Door. Great city to be stationed in, great shopping.

Wow. Was stationed at Badenerhof Kaserne (BK) a couple miles away back in 86-88. Dated a young local girl named "Petra" who worked at the McDonalds you can see at 2:32. Went back in 2002 or 2003 just to visit.
Thanks for the memories. Too bad you couldn't zoom up by BK or out towards the Waldheide CAS site.

Haha, that's cool as hell. Do you remember if you lived in Upper / Lower housing? We lived in Lower (the area closest to being on post). I was about 6-9yrs old there.

I was in the 26th Signal Bn from late 1984 until 1988. Can anyone tell me the address or the street crossings. I can't remember. I am going to Heilbronn in May and want to go by there. I want to see the vineyard with the cross if it is still there. We ran it daily for PT.

+Bruce Roberson ..yea..i remember that cross...we also ran p.t. there...(delta co. 237th engr. bn )from summer of 79 thru feb. 82..should be easy to find..just south of heilbronn, before flein ( town ).cant remember the strasse's though..i had some buddies in the 26th signal bn...you should also visit the cluss brewery in heilbronn, while you are there.. " PROSIT "...
