This is my comfort song because I relate to it so much. I was really depressed during my senior year but I couldn’t ask for help and ended up isolating myself from others. I tend to never reveal problems in my life or my emotions to others and I tend to handle things all by myself. It’s like nobody really knew how much I was suffering..I did have friends but throughout my 4 years I was pretty much invisible to others and I’ve gotten used to it
I don't know where you are now but I relate a lot to keeping feelings inside (my parents taught me that but it made me feel terrible mentally and physically). You have so much worth and value, and please don't ever forget that. You're invaluable to the world. It is tough to break from this mindset, but I have hope (for you, and for me too I guess 😅)

I cant tell you how much this song means to me. It’s like describing my severe social anxiety in all its entirety. “My demeanor is often misread” people often thing in stand offish because I’m scared of people so I sorta put up a front of ‘don’t talk to me’. “I have a hard time asking for help” I have a hard time in school because a lot of my classes require group work and I have a really difficult time trying to find partners to work with and I’m often by myself.
