Besides the soundtrack and the cool ideas the story I had, I always felt Mega Man 7 was great in the ending, even with the tweaks the English version did, showing how with what Wily had Bass do to Dr. Light's lab that Mega was tempted to kill Wily, even if he can't break the 3 Laws of Robotics, in spite of his independent thought, and how even when Castle Wily came down around them and Wily was trapped, Mega still wanted to help him, even when he was threatening him earlier, showing the strong sense of justice he has. Plus setting up a cool rival with Bass, even if his ego is his greatest weakness, and he lacks what Mega Man has, he still becomes a cool part of the classic series as an antithesis to Mega Man.
One of my favorite Mega Man games. If you hit Freeze Man with his own weapon during the second encounter with him, he'll break the fourth wall and give you this "Seriously....?" look on his face.
Another one of my favorites. Megaman's sprite here just shows how much he bout had it with Wily's antics. The intro to this game was something to behold, and gotta give Wily credit on having a backup plan. Seeing the Robot Masters activate from their pods, the door opening and out comes Junkman. While Mega Man 7 doesn't do much to push the series forward, it'll certainly test your abilities. It's one of the hardest of the main Mega Man series, for sure! (Grr, that last boss!)

Mega Man 7, what an underrated classic! The Music is great, Robot Master designs are neat, Bass (Forte) & Treble (Gospel) are interesting new characters, Weapons you score from said Robot Masters are well done! Yes, the game is missing Roll's & Auto's explanation on Robot Master weapons, and Wily- oh I'm sorry, "Willy" Machine 7 capsule boss isn't that fun to fight, but it's still a solid late Super Nintendo entry that's worth playing, even if you don't like this game! Good game that was late in the Super Nintendo's lifespan!
Dorian Scott I agree that Mega Man 7 is solid, even despite that Wily Machine's final form. It's still possible to do it with no damage, though. Roll and Auto's explanations appear in Japanese version of the game. And Mega Man 6 was very nearly at the end of NES' lifespan.
Rainbow Man, there is a fan translation of the Japanese version which is what I have been playing lately, and the translation in that patch is better than the official translation in Mega Man 7.
Dorian Scott Okay, I get it. This is apparently Mega Man, not Rockman. But it's a shame that Mega Man 7 didn't use their explanations, but used Dr. Light's instead.

It is just matter of preferance ofc. This game is not for everyone, people like it while others don't. It is one of my favorite original Mega Man games, others being 3, 9, 2, and 4.

@poke Truth be told, none of the robot masters are easy to start with in MM7. In the classic series, you usually know by sight who's the runt of the group, like Topman or ToadMan.
If I ever become a movie producer, I'd like to write, direct and/or produce a live-action Mega Man movie. I think the story of the first (Mega Man) video game would make a great high-budget summer flick if done correctly. Sales of the soundtrack alone would probably cover the initial investment.
It has kind of already been done. In T3 the TX has an arm that can transform into a cannon that also has interchangeable weapons systems. Seriously, when I watched T3 I quite soon recognised the TX arm weapon as being like mega man. My guess is that the movie makers got inspired by the NES games. By comparison I think the cast of Rouge One are all a whole heap of Fanboys and Fangirls. Probably their dream come true to be a rebel pilot and fight the empire. Who knows, maybe the Emperor Palpatine is actually apprenticed to Dr Wily and the trade federation are therefore likely using droids developed by Dr Wily......So who is the real dark lord ?....Ha ha ha ha. People always wondered why the original Mega Man never appeared in the X series. Well maybe, just maybe, all along, Darth Vader is the original Mega Man gone bad!! ok ok I Rant too much!🤪😜
I freakin' love SNES. After 30+ years the graphics are still beautiful. Mega Man games look great, and Mario All-Stars is also a beautiful game. SNES was my childhood system, and I still love it today.
Mega Man 7 is where Mega Man fights Doctor Wily, who got out from prison (he's very hard to stay imprisoned) and eight new Robot Masters that he mind-controls (Freeze Man, Cloud Man, Junk Man, Burst Man, Spring Man, Slash Man, Shade Man, and Turbo Man, numbered 49-56 because there are 48 others before them in the first six games). It’s where Mega Man combined the Power and Jet Adaptors from the sixth game. It’s also where Mega Man first met Bass, who is basically the series’ own Shadow the Hedgehog. We also met Auto, Mega's goofy assistant. Four of the RMs were stolen while the others were created by Wily. The ones that he created have good hearts and never wanted to do his evil bidding, but Wily forced them by mind-controlling them (ask Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot's first book about it). He also mind-controlled the stolen ones. After Mega Man defeated all eight of these RMs, he freed them from Wily’s mind-control, and then Doctor Light adopted these new RMs as his new sons. They are doing jobs (I can say the same to the RMs from the first six games). Nice graphics, which are better than Mega Man 1-6's. Boy, I want a remake that has the same graphics and bonus stuff as Mega Man 11. And/or, a 3-D action-adventure remake/version that does all this, and the 3-D part would be like Kirby and the Forgotten Land in 2022 rather than Mega Man X7 (that game was weird).🙏 Junk Man is my favorite in MM7. Oh, and I know that each of the four Robot Masters' power in each group can defeat the other RM, so how about each of all eight of them's power can defeat the other RM? I mean, Freeze Man's power can defeat Slash Man. How about using Turbo Man's power to defeat Burst Man?
Taking place in the 21st century (the ambiguous year 20XX), Mega Man 7 begins directly after the events of Mega Man 6. Thanks to the efforts of Mega Man and his friends, Dr. Wily was finally brought to justice. However, Wily had always known that he might bd imprisoned one day, and so he had constructed four backup Robot Masters in a hidden laboratory: Burst Man, Cloud Man, Junk Man, and Freeze Man. If they did not receive any communication for six months, they would activate and begin searching for their master. After six months, the robots activate, round up an army, and go on a rampage throughout the city in which Dr. Wily is being held. Mega Man is called into action. Upon driving into the city with Roll and Auto, he sees that it is in ruins, and that he is too late to stop Wily's Robot Masters from liberating the evil scientist. Mega Man gives chase, but is stopped by Bass, a robot with capabilities much like Mega Man's own, and his robotic wolf Treble. After a brief skirmish, Mega Man is informed that the two of them are battling Wily as well. Bass and Treble then take off, leaving Mega Man confused, but convinced that he has new allies and determined to again stop Dr. Wily's plans.
Another cut and paste post eh, something you always seem to do. Why don't you comment on the game instead of posting stuff the average gamer could find with a simple Google search.
So this game...its really brutal your first time around so new players who are trying this you have been warned but this is what makes this game so good once you completed it once you get really good at it the second time around
What makes this game hard is the size of Mega Man's sprite, it is a tad large, much like his 5 Game Boy outings, which suffer the same issue. The stages can be a tad claustrophobic as seem built more for Mega Man's original sprite than his new one seen here.
This game was pretty cool, but a lot of the bosses did things that didn't make sense, like what does getting the red stuff on your head from Slash Man do?
this game is really good. played it all day, for the first time. first went through it with game genie. learned all the boss weaknesses, etc. then played through and beat it legit. that last boss took 4 E-tanks. hardest Dr Wily ever. so now i've beat 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7
Another one in my collection (yeah I stated this in this video almost a year ago, I know), an enjoyable game, despite Mega Man's sprite being a bit too big, and like the Gameboy titles, the stages feel almost too small for his sprite.
Never really liked this one much compared to the ones on the NES, but I gotta respect the fact that Megaman was straight up going to cap Wily in the head at the end there
Bruh, this game was brutal. I remember getting stuck somewhere and I was forced to stop playing because I didn't have a clue on what to do next (as a kid)

Watching this playthrough reminds me of my ex-boyfriend. We used to play this and other old and newer games on our weekends off together. I'd advise him on the ideal order in which to defeat the robot masters and he'd advise me on the ways of the more contemporary games--especially the Zelda ones. The experience was almost magical. I hadn't connected with somebody on that level since having been with my best friend from childhood. If you ever wanna do a playthrough on Super Mario World for SNES in the future, let me know.
Freeze man stage has the best music of the whole game
I like to think of a Romhack that is the NES games in MM7 Style.
Also *CUT MAN 2.*
Well maybe, just maybe, all along, Darth Vader is the original Mega Man gone bad!!
ok ok I Rant too much!🤪😜
By the way there is already a Fan made Mega Man movie. it is worth watching and it is interesting. It is somewhere on RUclips
@@heavyvehiclelifestyle8396 I'm aware of the fan flick, thank you, but I'd prefer something more like the original games.
I freakin' love SNES. After 30+ years the graphics are still beautiful. Mega Man games look great, and Mario All-Stars is also a beautiful game. SNES was my childhood system, and I still love it today.
Mega Man: I AM MORE THAN A ROBOT!
I love the look of Mega Man 7 but there is just something so charming about the NES MM games
Agreed. Especially mega man 2,in my opinion
@@pootypump7440 Megaman 3 and 2 are my favorite. I love using the slide in MM3 but MM2 has the best music and bosses imo
@@ILOVEGOOOOOOLD YES!! And he's without all that overload of new characters in 2
My Master Order:
1- Burst Man
2- Cloud Man
3- Junk Man
4- Freeze Man
5- Turbo Man
6- Slash Man
7- Spring Man
8- Shade Man
I love the music of the end boss fight!!
The boss theme is awesome
I remember Rockman/Megaman series was extremely hard past the 8 bosses. This guy made it looks so easy...
One of my favorite games in the mega man series
The Slash Man level gives me Jurassic Park vibes!!
You can't mind control a robot.
@@RaifSeverence Well, reprogram him or her or it.
The Capcom sound
oh boy, this brings me back some good memories
1:32"... Dr. Willy..."
Me: *LOL*
Still a cool game
0:25 I like how wily looks like a muppet in this scene.
Best sound track of them all.
Love the design for Freezeman. Developers did a great job
Bass at one point betrayed Mega Man at the end of the game
My first megaman ❤️
Nice follow up from the NES series. Better trilogy than Star Wars. Game or movie.
Gouls’n Ghost soundtrack on the Shade Man Level❤
Now I've realized it: the Shade Man's theme is the same as Ghouls n' Ghosts!
And now I can't unsee the Goatse Shop. THANKS OBAMA.
Dorelaxen Ahahahahahaha. I'm so happy that I don't have to endure that alone now :D sorry!
The Song Theme is so amazing, especially the password song. ❤
Esse megaman marcou uma era, desse jogo em diante, vários outros megamans e jogos da Nintendo e viriam com uma tecnologia muito maior.
Mega Man 7 is my favorite of the entire saga, the first one I played and finished of all, I think this is the best of all
Masterpiece of a game
One of the best Mega man game!
The graphics in the seventh mega man game is excellent. 😀👍🎮
The sprites take up too much of screen though. Still good music though!
@@edwardgaines6561 I agree with you. 😀👍🎮
It may be hard, but it's not necessarily frustrating like the other 6 games on the NES lol.
This is one of the easier megaman games outside of the final boss which is complete bs
@@kaiserwave5977 not really related to the topic but I love when people just comment on my old often embarrassing comments lol
Oh one of the best games on the Super Nintendo along with Mario World and Final Fantasy
My favorite classic mega man game. It just excutes the formula so fucking well man
That's a pretty cool effect burning the trees at 43:28
They were gonna use it for Megaman 2 but it was scrapped since Capcom didn't want to promote deforestation.
0:42 -😯Who ever 👂 of "Capcom Times" 📰 before?😦
Probably Capconians
@@NintendoComplete is "Disney's #GummiBears" (Zummi, Grammi, Gruffi, Gusto, Tummi, Sunni, & #Cubbi) part pledge of becoming Capconian citizen/civilian?
54:49 me recuerda perecida ese soundtrack
Es un guiño a Ghost N Ghouls!!
These damn Megaman games 🤣 fun but pain in the ass at times 🔥💥💣 4/5/24
The last character of all character he played the level sounds like ghosts n goblins.
That's an easter egg that can be unlocked by a code, otherwise it plays the normal stage music for Shade Man's stage.
Great soundtrack and dialog
57:22 I just realized this was the SUPER GHOULS AND GHOSTS theme
This game was pretty cool, but a lot of the bosses did things that didn't make sense, like what does getting the red stuff on your head from Slash Man do?
Could be something that drains Mega Man's energy, since he loses health when hit.
Red stuff makes you a sitting duck to Slashman, you can't jump, shoot, or slide.
Me encanta la musica de este juego que recuerdos
this game is really good. played it all day, for the first time. first went through it with game genie. learned all the boss weaknesses, etc. then played through and beat it legit. that last boss took 4 E-tanks. hardest Dr Wily ever. so now i've beat 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7
2:39 "Ill try to punch it up a notch, hold on roll!" Proceeds to the drive at the same fucking speed
The many different spellings of Dr. Wily, Willy, Wiley… this game showcased 2 of them in the opening scene.
Another one in my collection (yeah I stated this in this video almost a year ago, I know), an enjoyable game, despite Mega Man's sprite being a bit too big, and like the Gameboy titles, the stages feel almost too small for his sprite.
Parabéns mano!
Eu amo esse jogo
why shade man had different ost ??? thats weird
A code input at the Robot introduction bit allows you to change the music to the Ghosts N Goblins/Ghouls N Ghosts theme song.
I was not prepared for this final boss when I was in elementary school 😅The hardest final boss in the mainline series.
Never really liked this one much compared to the ones on the NES, but I gotta respect the fact that Megaman was straight up going to cap Wily in the head at the end there
I feel like Light would have seen it as a failure and disassembled him.
when i was a kid i didn't like this game and now it's my favorite megaman game XD
I'm just starting to dive into the mega man franchise and I've loved megaman 7 so far
Mega Man 7 gets a lot of flack, but it's not really a bad game that cobbled together in such a short time frame of 3 months.
Bruh, this game was brutal. I remember getting stuck somewhere and I was forced to stop playing because I didn't have a clue on what to do next (as a kid)
more love to mega man 7
That game was dope!!
I have this game on my retro Xbox!
48:12 Let Rush dig on the platform in the middle of the room to get a giant bolt (worth several hundred bolts)
There is at least one more location with another giant bolt, but I forgot where.
buenas movidas megaman aunque casi pierdes tus principios x dr willy buen video
Anyone else find the naming of "Freeze Cracker" to be hilarious?
Freeze, cracker!
I love using Rush jet on the next to last boss in wily's castle.
This is not a bad game at all, but given how long Capcom held out on bringing Mega Man to 16-bit, this should have been Mega Man 2 worthy.
Hi
Mega Man 2 isn't that great though.
Mega Man 2 is a great game, and very important to the franchise history, but it's too overrated. For me, MM7 is the most complete and the best Classic Series game.
@@MaverickVile that and 8 were my favorites
MegaMan 7 so far is the only MegaMan game released for SNES. I wish MegaMan 8 also came out on SNES alongside PS1 tho.
Is it me or am I noticing a Super Metroid or Metroid Fusion feel and sound from a LOT of scenes????
3:02 I love this scene
Mega Men ist das beste Nintendo Spiel allerzeiten !
I have beat Mega Man 7 in 41 minutes.
Megaman 7 is my favourite game in Megaman series. 1st.
I wished this game also got the Complete Works treatment😢
Freeze Man
Burst Man
Cloud Man
Junk Man
Turbo Man
Slash Man
Spring Man
Shade Man
Watching this playthrough reminds me of my ex-boyfriend. We had a great gaymer relationship...until temporary unemployment and sexual confusion reared their ugly heads. :/
Ugly heads, thou shalt determine who obtained the ugliest, ugly head- All while observing ugly heads rearing a head so ugly from the rear, yes?
