I was also there with my bicycle. We made a cycle tour with my husband from ilava to nemsova and up to nova dubnica. What i was surprised was how many people wore helmets. Even the great majority of people without lycra, f. ex men in shorts and flippers or women in hotpants wore helmets. Do you also saw that?
@@andredo4880 ok :) i knew those. It was really hot and we were not in lycra but shorts and flippers. We had helmets on. But for short rides in villages i saw some people without helmets. But it was a small minority. Over 90% of people wore helmets even in villages despite the big heat. A hairdresser who go out of the store and hops on her bike. After she pits her helmet on i asked her. She saw its crazy uncomfortable for her but she get stopped and fined so she wears. I saw now on google and the law is now repealed, due to public pressure. Its not compulsory anymore. Im wondering how many use helmets now when its not mandatory anymore😃
