You're never too old to start playing. Anyone can learn. There are certain ways to practice efficiently, so even if you don't have a ton of time, you can still make progress. I started playing when I was 13-years-old, and now I'm 31. I practiced for about 6-8 hours a day for probably the first 6 years or so of playing. Now I'm only playing a few hours during the week, then moreso back to that 4-6 hour mark on the weekends.
