As a guy who consistently breaks 30+mph on an electric longboard, this makes my sphincter retreat into my esophagus. As I ride through Atlanta traffic splitting lanes and running lights, I would never attempt those speeds without a full face helmet and leathers. Stay safe out there folks!🎉

Shiiit I even wear a mouth piece lol but most definitely I am getting some upper body armor quick. I know my maneuverability will be down but I dam sure can’t fall like that again with no pads on. I’m so glad that I dressed for the wreck and not the ride today, I was going about 42 down the hill and there was a speed bump and right before the speed bump. There was a dent so the front of my longboard hit it and I went flying about 20 feet and hit the ground head first, good thing I was wearing a helmet. By the grace of God I survived. pretty much all I have is a bruised rib cage and a shit ton of road rash😂🙏🏼🙏🏼
Radical but legit question; how are you supposed to like stop? Like what if you're just using a cruiser set up on a Popsicle board to ride around with the occasional hill bombing thrown in; how would I break?...I just built my first cruiser set up but I'm waiting until it gets warmer out before learning to actually ride that thang lol
@@DiamondFist320 generally when cruising I just use my pushing foot to brake. It’s called a foot braking, slowly applying the bottom of your foot against the ground and gradually increasing pressure until you come to a stop. There probably are some youtube videos you can check out. When going faster I usually slide to a stop and use sliding gloves to help. Hope that helps!

the first clip is weird. why would the rider in the back not carve a bit to the right. he litearlly knocked his mate down ice cold... was in that situation multipel times, road looks wide enough, follow car, blocks any other traffic, so there would have been free space to navigate around that, wouldnt it ?
Most definitely could have adjusted to not hit him. He is very new to downhill and just froze. Actually he is surprisingly a really good skater for how short of time he has been doing it. It happens, but the one who got hit won’t let the other follow behind him anymore :)

I hope you heal up quick! Just depends on how bad the fall was. Some look really bad, but walked away with no issues. Some maybe a week to two weeks max
