Very few people in the US actually advocate for socialism, which is public ownership of all industries.. democratic socialism is not the same thing. And the stuff about “everyone has the same/makes the same” is communism which I’ve never heard any politician in the US at any level support
Daniel Weimer Thanks for weighing in Daniel. There are several politicians and members of the United States (both legal and illegal) Who believe in re-distributing wealth so much so that everybody basically gets the same. In effect they create a two class system - the political class with a few titans of business sprinkled in there, and everybody else.
While some mainstream politicians do not preach it in their policies because they would be viewed as too radical and never get the ticket/nomination, It doesn’t mean that they actually don’t want to implement such a thing.
Regardless the entirety of the video was to describe the ills of the current tax system and some proposed tax policies of the politicians you refer to as democrat socialists.
JARBLY did you know that for the first time in US history billionaires paid a lower tax rate than the average American? Our current status quo is ridiculously favorable to the mega rich. You can redistribute wealth without making everyone the same.. if a billionaire has to pay a top tax rate of 50% they are still a billionaire.
Daniel Weimer There’s a lot of shady stuff that keeps the masses down.
I will dispel a lot of the stuff that’s going on.
This is an elaborate scheme that most people would not believe.
However the 50% tax is not aimed at wealthy billionaires unless you do a net worth tax.
It’s aimed at anybody who creeps up towards their wealth which is another system of control.
You don’t need to tax somebody making $400,000 fifty percent In order to solve economic woes.
You need to go after the heart of the money which are the super elitists.
90%+ of the land / resources are owned by the top .1%.
Don’t let a politician fool you that increasing the income tax rate will make them pay their fair share!
Daniel Weimer The message of a politician saying the concept “the rich aren’t paying their fair share” rings true to people but the ACTUAL policies that are are recommended by those people still do not get them to do that.
They are pulling on your heart strings to get you to give up more choice and control many times.
If you believe in the freedom of choice you believe that anyone can start a business and you want the rules to be favorable so that you can succeed in that profession.
The more control you give to big entities (i.e. corporations and government) the harder it is to compete with them and succeed.
If you’re afraid of monopolistic environments then you understand that high income tax rates are a true ploy to halt semi-wealthy people’s progress towards creeping into and obtaining some of the top .1%’s land resources and wealth.
We have a fixed amount of gold, we have a fixed amount of oil, we have a fixed amount of land on this green earth of ours.
Billionaires don’t pay income tax rates as you suggested.
There’s a reason why that it is and why they support someone saying “increase the income tax rate”.
As I said in the video they know the tax codes better than the average person does to take advantage of all kinds of loopholes so many will gladly promote politicians who have unrealistic policies aimed at squeezing small business owners/professionals who are independents if it means greater wealth for them and their friends.
