2019 DR650 was my first bike at 34 years old and I had a Yoshimura slip on that transformed it. 4 years later and I got a GSX8S 3 months ago as a second bike and I waited on exhaust because I refused to not have Yoshimura again, and I’m so glad I didn’t settle. I’m number 5 on the preorder list and it should be here the end of this month. I’m freaking out like a little kid on Christmas!!!
Is this system a bit different from the "Speed" system? I've noticed that the Speed system had no passenger pegs and from the thumbnail I think i saw a kind of resonator right at the bellypan, right? Anyway, nice sounding 😊
Sounds great. Based on the description percentages, the gains are 4.67bhp & 3.5lbs/ft of torque. Is that with or without a remap? Sorry if I missed this.
Remapping (plus airbox mod, velocity stacks) produces about 12 hp and a whopping 10 ft-lb with other full systems, I doubt the Yoshi is far off. Remapping is the other 50% of what people will miss without it.
@@exothermal.sprocket Yes, definitely seems to be the case which is pretty impressive. That's also without really pushing it or any engine mods. The 95 bhp limit for the race series should also be fairly easy to reach while still maintain good engine reliability. I've got the Akra system on my 8R but haven't had it mapped yet. Will also do the stage 1 airbox mod when I do so looking at mid to high 80's rwbhp hopefully.

Speed Series is a 49 state system. The Speed series is showing our Aluminum AB bracket available separately. Stay tuned to our website for details!
Really wish the muffler had additional length or internal volume (expansion space) to produce a deeper muscular tone.
With a in line four engine will be perfect!
