Hey, I actually practice some practical chinese broadsword techniques and have done a fair bit of background research into a few of the martial arts and their histories. I think I can add some insight into Tiandi's finisher that you'd appreciate I can say with pretty solid confidence that most of his movements are based off of Shaolin broadsword techniques. Now, don't get me wrong, Shaolin Kung-Fu is an incredibly demanding martial art, and Shaolin monks were historically used as soldiers during wartime, quite successfully so. However, it's been centuries since they've fought wars and their combat arts have since evolved to be more of performance arts. They are rooted in practical techniques, but modern Shaolin Kung-Fu weapon techniques couldn't really hold up against practical swordfighting. Now to actually talk about the finisher lol, Tiandi first starts off by wrapping the false edge of the broadsword around his torso. This is a real way to deliver a cut, and when properly performed, delivers a very fast and powerful cut. You likely wouldn't throw this sort of attack against a prepared opponent, but Tiandi can see his opponent is unarmed by now. HOWEVER, the opponent moves closer to Tiandi to initiate a grapple. If you've ever held a Chinese dao of any kind, they are rather top heavy and deliver the best cuts further down the blade. In fact, some are only sharpened at the last foot of the blade and are dull towards the bottom. Since the opponent moved closer, they are now out of optimal range for the cut Tiandi was preparing for, and they're now throwing a punch at him. There are multiple ways he could've reacted here, but he doesn't back away, which I like. What he does next is an actual technique I've seen used and have even used myself. You can see Tiandi brings the broadsword up and locks his opponent's wrist with the pommel. From here, he has free reign to do pretty much whatever with his free hand. The rising palm strike looked really well executed, as his stance was deep and you can see he uses his entire body to strike up. Bare-handed Shaolin techniques can generate a TON of power very quickly, and I'm confident in saying that palm strike could break your chin. He then pushes his elbow into his opponent's gut to prepare for a take down. I don't think the animation showed it very well, but I think Tiandi still had Warden's wrist locked behind the pommel. It looks like he also used the bottom part of his thigh to force Warden's right knee to bend, making it easier to knock him to the floor. I couldn't say if this is based off of any specific Chinese techniques, but the body mechanics used looked rather practical. Now for the final part. It looks a little flashy and impractical, but I think it could actually work. I don't really know why you would use that sort of somersault-cartwheel hybrid, but whatever, it looks flashy. However, the end position after the flip sets him up for a very powerful rising cut with the dao. If you look closely, you can see when he actually does cut his opponent, both of his feet are back on the ground. Also, as I mentioned before, the dao cuts best further down the blade, and thats exactly where Tiandi cuts into the opponent's neck. I know this is way too in-depth about some dumb finisher in a sword game, but I just thought I could give my two cents. if you have any questions, feel free to ask and I can try to answer to the best of my abilities.

As much as there's a little possibility caber tossing a greatsword, it's very impractical in combat because it end two ways. 1. The enemy will sidestep or dodge away from impact zone and will either run away or counter attack you bare handed or armed your better off caber tossing a greatsword if your bored and not on combat

Orochi's stance for the first punch is good, holding the pose was a bit weird, but hey, gotta be stylish and I'm no professional when it comes to kicks but his form and balance looked great until he dropped his stance after the kick. But this isn't practise, this is war and the Warden was down so it was a good time to deliver a finishing blow, even if Orochi took his sweet time doing it. Also Hitokiri did an axe kick like Orochi except Hito's axe kick was to get the opponent's head to connect with their axe. You may laugh now.
I used to do karate and i had to look up that technique again: Orochis punch is called Gyaku-Zuki (at least in Karate) and from the looks of it orochi did this move quite well (pretty sure my former trainer would still complain that his stance isnt low enough). The only thing which is questionable is the practicality, since Gyaku-Zuki is more of a counterattack straight to (the center of) the body than a defensive move/counterattack to the arm/fist. At least we never did this like this in training. Edit: Ive never seen this 'kick' performed in karate, so i cant tell if thats a thing in karate or if its good or not.
I would say the kick would be better if he didn't raise his knee so much and just kicked his shin straightly. His kick isn't really something I've seen in any sort of martial art, but more of the end of a performance in a flashy pose. For the draw cut, it looks good, if a bit exaggerated by him physically sliding across the ground with the power of God and anime on his side.
The Highlander finisher I find to be very reminiscent of caber toss/Scottish log toss. So it’s less “lol hehe funny meme” and more “oh yeah he’s a big beefy Scottish dude”
I’m honestly surprised and lowkey disappointed he didn’t know this. Definitely didn’t deserve the points he gave considering it was reminiscent of Scottish history
Jorms execution stats: -8/10 style -2/10 practicality (8/10 if you're a demigod) Then you realise, judging by all the absurd executions that all the characters are superhuman monsters
The best thing about this new update is other people who know the reason they do certain stuff get it and appreciate it, but those who don't can still see it as cool, and the ones that are silly atleast for the mostpart are fast Aside from too easy decaps as Raven says this new update really seems like a big step ahead, quick executions and most by actually using their weapons as fitting of how they are based on lore even if it looks stupid
I am a Highlander main and I want to say a word about the rating I 100% percent agree with it, but I LOVE this finisher, it’s so dumb but at the same time I have been wanting a caber toss (log throw) finisher since he was released, this finisher is impractical, over the top and I love it
I feel like warmongers execution she saw Highlander do his execution and thought she should try it and realized she is not nearly as strong and her sword is too small. Highlanders execution is a silly one as well its literally just to reference the highland games.
Funny you mention Valk overpenetrating with her spear. For a while I've been asking for a finisher where she overpenetrates with the spear and then struggles to pull it back out, causing even more excuciating pain for the victim until she eventually pulls the spear back out.
I can't wait for hito to get a sweep execution. Zhanhu and Kyoshin already got one and it just baffles me that Hito doesn't have one considering be has a sweep in his kit
Conqueror: does a meme about a sport that is impossible but sort of stylish Dani: Hmm not my favorite but 7/10 Highlander: also has a meme of a traditional scottish sport, that looks pretty cool Dani: *ANGERY* 1/10 maybe even 0/10 why ubi you are all monsters
This was super informative and very interesting for someone who loves historical warfare and such…but gosh damn you must be the biggest killjoy at a party
I really like the Style/Practicality point split. When you were only analyzing in a practical sense it just made them feel pretty hateful even though we knew you most likely didn't actually hate what you were talking about. I love Need for Speed Hot Pursuit but if I only talked about how well it reflects real life driving you'd think I'd want to personally attack everyone at Criterion.
Guys OMG, I have just found out that Gibbon doesn't exist1!2! How could we be so blind2!1!! Anyway the new Holden Cross character looks sick and cool as hell 🤒🤯😆
As a Nobushi main I'm glad you gave hers a high rating cause when I first saw I rewatched it like 5 times cause it's genuinely entertaining with out it seeming silly. Not to say unrealistic executions don't have their place I just hate the ones that are purposely meant to be funny.
I'm glade there's some people here who enjoy the simpler and more practical executions in the game. Too many times I see people get super hyped over the crazy ones (Not meaning to knock on them, a crazy one is good every now and then) and not a lot of people enjoy the simple one or two slash/stab executions, that I was worried the simpler ones would get phased out.
For those not siding with Dani on Kensei, I do mixed martial arts and can confirm Kensei isn’t spinning, he’s rotating and stepping back. As for the kicks of most of the characters, most of them are alright, except for Hitokiri. An axe kick down onto the shoulder is very ineffective and doesn’t have enough power to force a skull into a blade unless in the back of the head. Plus, Warden could (in a final attempt) try to tackle Hitokiri when her leg is up and with one hand on the handle of her axe or whatever.
The sword slap on warmonger is suggested that it’s meant to slam the blade downwards and jerk it so the handle angles upwards allowing an easier removal on the ground
My kensei armor is based on the general who fought and died by Raider in the Campaign but yours are beautiful also. Thanks for the rating and thanks for your hard work on For Honor.
Gotta ask: What is up with ur bias against Gryphon? I assume u have a negative bias against him, cause this is the 3rd time u took a dumb on the character. On your Chimera armor revive, u just skipped him, on the Horkos armor revive, u made a Gryphon monkey joke, now u started by claiming u don't want to talk about Gryphon. I am just curious, why do you dislike the character?
One other odd thing about the Nobushi practicality rating is how she uses one hand for a majority of her strikes, while being one of the weakest characters physically on the roster and using a polearm like the naginata. Not to mention they dragged the blade on the floor which would probably make it so the force of the cut would be reduced and the blade misaligned. And it doesn’t help the spinning for that final strike would just intensify the problems. Like just to contrast, Jiang Jun has the same rating while maintaining control of the blade with two hands for the final strike and using appropriate windup instead of weird spinning.
I find the scraping against the ground in a bit of a weird way. For one, it could be used like flicking a finger, using tension build up to release for more force. Though I usually would see this used for a vertical slash or not at all to not grind away your blade. I would see this in Chinese martial arts, one strike of which is pressing down with a bo staff in the same fashion with two hands and turning for a flicking motion. As for the general use, I agree. One handing a long weapon only works if you use the momentum right and is generally disadvantageous in the moves I see her executions using.
@@kaijuslayer3334 That's exactly my point, I wouldn't think a bladed weapon should use a blunt weapon movement since they are fundamentally different. You don't need to build up as much force to use a blade while a blunt object works on force more than dividing parts from one another. Oh, and it seems O forgot to mention, it seems very strange that she would use the flick for a completely horizontal slash to decapitate, as it doesn't straighten in a swing unless it is much lower to the ground.
I feel like Shaolin’s kind of works because he hits the enemy with the edge of his bowstaff and then proceeds to to kick them in the face they would be super dazed and unable to think and since those hits look very hard I definitely believe that the enemy is too dazed to move, but that’s just my opinion.
I was completely on Board with you on the nobushi one but you actually made me like Kenseis A LOT MORE. When I first saw it with some guys I thought it was good, but he has better ones. Looking at it closer it gets so much better (my favorite detail is how he really only turns around once the opponent falls down)
Kensei’s is great. I just hope he gets more metal armour, with better bracers too (like kyoshin’s ones ideally). Also, jiang jun’s is great but IDK why it has the ‘clang’ sound effect on the final strike where he decapitates them. If they removed that last clang sound it would be perfect
I have seen hookblades such as nuxia uses actually used it practice duels when I was younger and honestly it's a 2 they are very short blades and the most they are used for on the end is stabs
I love warmongers execution. the impale was sexy (I love impales so I'm biased) and her slamming the sword wasn't for it to go in the ground, but for the blade to slice upward into the enemies body causing them pain and to hit them in the face with the guard to add insult to injury and in turn making it easy to take them completely to the ground without her sword getting stuck into the ground so that her pull out game is nice and strong. 10 out of 10 in my book. If I were to be critical then I would say she could have did all that without slamming down on the blade.
In my opinion which may be abit biased since i adore Kyoshin now, the idea behind him sheathing his weapon is to use his left hand which is in the face of the opponent (easier) to hit him in the face with the full weapon instead of the scabbard alone or the back of his weapon from a weaker angle
Ill be honest i agree with most of these, the only one i slightly disagree with is oro's. Yes im biased and im an oro main but i like how they fight back. In all fairness a lot of how i rate executions is based on if they fight back or not, kensei's and oro's are my two favorites for that reason. Jorm's is good in my opinion simply because of the hype that surrounded, we saw it in the trailer of her release and just now finally got it. Very concise and interesting video, keep it up ^-^
The over-swing is the result of the sheer force warden would be putting into his cuts to ensure he cleanly decapitates the body. If anything this is one of the most accurate representations of actual momentum in the game. Sure we’ve departed from realism, but you shouldn’t discount what would realistically happen if you had enough force to cut through chainmail and bone. And for what it’s worth that Gryphon finisher generally practical when you take into account the weight of a weapon that big. The blade is generally exaggerated in size even for a bardiche so the sluggishness could in fact be attributed to the fact that they were taking into account the ridiculous proportions of the weapon. That initial side strike wasn’t necessary. For testing purposes I managed to recreate gryphon’s base bardiche (blade-less for obvious reasons) and had one of my bigger friends wield it (I’m pretty short 5’7”) so I figured I would have someone of gryphon’s approximate height (6’2”?) attempt this movement. He said that as a pole-arm user such a blade size is impractical in a fight, but it would make the most sense to use the lower end of the shaft to strike an opponent’s head to disorient them. He said following through with the blade to the chest might actually be viable if your original strike was not enough to disorient the enemy, or perhaps they partially blocked it (we were assuming this is against another pole-arm user or perhaps against a longsword). In either case they would either be in an open position afterward to at least go in for a secondary strike due to how close you would be to their chest at that point. The leg sweep would obviously take longer to execute and leaves you partially open so it would be unwise to do so without first limiting your opponent’s movement. As for afterwards, a blade of that size would likely have no trouble crushing through an opponent’s armor and impaling them especially if you consider the gravity advantage combined with a warrior of his size. Of course my friend isn’t an expert, and I’m just the guy that makes things, but I would honestly rate the practicality a 8.5 out of 10. If he didn’t have that initial bash to the chest it would have been a generally viable move in both sparring and actual combat (provided he ever got that close with a pole-arm).
So with Gryphon vs LB, I really think a huge factor to why it looks clunky is the sheer lack of good camera work. There's a lot of executions who's weight looks natural via camera magic, like, watch Highlander's spin the bottle from the menu and not the in game look. Gryphon also just moves like 70 year old who's joints have been replaced with cement, but any form of camera work would've help his execution immensely. It moves just slow enough, especially from the sweep to stab, that it mimics other executions with wide sweeping angles. Poor guy. Holden Cross really didn't age well.
In a hand to hand combat stance, jumping into a kick or punch can actually generate more force than a grounded force. For example if someone is pushing you you could jump and turn 180 degrees into a jump back kick would actually do more damage then a regular back kick. Or if you are rushing some one there are many kicks that could be more powerful with a jump than slide (jump/slide side kick, jump switching/slide roundhouse, or if you are ninja or they aren't looking a btwist kick or basically the only offense version of the hook kick, even the jump spin hook kick is not a good offense technique), and punches are not as vast with the only offensive punch with a jump is a superman punch 2. Sorry for the run on sentences but my point is that while jumping leaves you open, it still would generate much more force due to kinetic and down force energy. Also orochis execution is not good for, never would you ever throw an axe kick to the knee, that's almost as painful as soft shin on a sharp knee.
It's worth pointing out that several of these other than the ones you mentioned are made of other executions stitched together, such as JJ and BPs which you rated pretty highly.
This is the sort of person to complain about peacekeeper twisting the blade but not notice that conqueror didn't fully wrap his flail around the person's neck to toss them smh
That warmonger finisher was decent with the half swording impale, but then it just devolves to nonsense, I hate how she seems to not know how to user her sword in most executions.
People always have the same problem with cents, though that was to kill faster, the opponent is still alive before it and, the punch is what does it, let's them die quickly instead of slowly
In terms of orochi's takedown, he uses traditional karate mixed with weapon based combat. All moves are effective and practical, and I've used those punches and kicks in that fashion during sparring before now. Style and form is perfect also.
As fas as Nobushi's finisher, the full-body one-leg extention is a real, accurate dueling technique for naginata, believe it or not. It was intended for use after driving an opponent beyond the two-handed range of your spear, as the range suddenly increasing by 50% would cath them off guard
Hitokiris kick is good again it’s a axe kick into a axe but all jokes aside the Hitokiri does a axe kick over onto his head which will push his head into the axe which will kill and with the power of the kick and gravity it’s a good finishing move
for warmommy its an execution that you rly need to buy to actualy like it it fits her character but I have an beater Idea for it its waaaay brutal and way unpractical so she implaes her opponent like she did at the start but then holds her opponent with her left hand and with her right she grabs her handle and then she starts pulls it upwards yes this would mean that she would saw her opponent almost in half and we seen other heroes doing it but they usually do it quick warmommy cant do it so opponents body would fall apart yes it doesnt make sense but keep in mind we are talking about a character whose top heavy finisher does a lot of dmg with ONE arm and she uses some gods poison to kill people
Hey Dani, I am in no way a huge fan of warmongers new execution but, I do appreciate it more after someone brought it to my attention that when she thrusts the sword through the abdomen the reason she slaps her weapon is to cut upwards on her victim from the center of the torso through the chest and to the collarbone on the front of the victim, also great vid man
Talking about Mal's comment? They admitted in the last sentence that she could've just done all of that without the need to slap the sword, or even let go of the hilt in the first place.
@@CaptainCFalcon I actually missed Mal’s comment but yeah he saying what I was shown, imo I don’t think it’s a 10/10 like Mal but it probably a solid 6-7 for me, sorry about not seeing that
Did you check out MajorN's exe translations yet? You might like em, or at least kensei's if you liked it so much. Great vid, and I love your customizations.
Warmonger? More like Reuse-monger Also I think the Jiang finish is actually pretty much fine, retreating on one leg was to prevent his opponent from leg sweeped with his fist if you look at how the warden was positioned and once he realized he couldn't move he finished it.
I think nobushi was standing on one leg to prepare her other one to kick her weapon to get her weapon out of the enemies neck as well as start some momentum to decap the enemy
Mixed Martial Arts student here, for karate or japanese Martial Arts, punching a punch to block or party isn't practical nor effective, for the most part my teacher would tell students to either move out of the way, block with the forearm, and orochi pulls his leg too high for the kick, that would allow the warden to strike to the "you know what part" of the body, probably causing orochi to lose balance, concentration, etc
I think why we see such a gap in caliber of finisher quality is the actors experience in background. It looks like a swordsman mocapped kensei while characters like highlander look like they were mocapped by some guys goofing around.
1:28 bruh, the ONE time you get to dramatically overswing in a fight is when the mother fucker is basically already dead Also, Gryphon doesn't belong with the Knights Ubi, like seriously wtf
I don't know man. Anyway you should check out this other from Raven Knight: ruclips.net/video/s7lhTgLzy4M/видео.html Personally I like it more because of the more accurate description about the physics behind the execution
Just wanna say something about Orochi, that punch is a gyaku tsuki (a punch from the opposite side form the leg) and although is well performed he...well, literally PUNCHED A PUNCH, like bruh he could instead go for an age uke (superior block) or an uchi uke (mid block) and THEN do the gyaku tsuki but, well, Orochi
I've been playing this game since it launched. I stopped playing after the ccu update so I'm not sure how new these executions are, but they feel the same as they've been for the past two years. Maybe this game has lost its magic completely for me now, props to you guys for still being able to enjoy it
I think you rated the practicality on raiders execution way to low the chop he does works on the same principle as a superman punch using your body as a lever to generate force
For finisher in my opinion i love the honorable ones and the very brutal ones and im pretty sad they didn't make an honorable finisher for warmommy i would have that she resist to a punch and after punch her opponent in his throat with her claw the opponent start bleeding out and she kindly drop him on the ground wait for him to die while calming him and say rest my wolf. This would be fire
Warmonger's execution is crap, no argue there, but there is a point to hitting the blade after it's been impaled on the foe; the punch actually repositions the sword inside the body, creating a significant additional slash in the chest; and the repositioning enables her to use the hilt like a handle to pick the foe up and drop him to the ground.
The flashiness is a given as they have already battered the opponent so flashy stuff and spinning is passable IMO love the vids tho just thought the -points for spinning was a bit unjust
One thing that confused me About lb exe was that when he brings down the axe he doesn't cut the head of which I guess would make sense because laryy put his hands to stop the blade from decaping him but I feel like with the force lb put behind the final hit Larry would need more than his hands to prevent his head from coming off. Which begs the question does that mean Larry's hands are made of steel or is lb axe dull.
i made timestamps in case you just want to jump to your favorite hero
Thank dani
Thank you, and your Kensei is so clean!

As a taekwondo student, I think that his axe kick is weird.
Hello I'm Scottish and honestly we had the same thought lmao
JJ is the kinda guy to say "keep your stance wide" then balances on one foot as stiff and tight as possible
Sounds like someone didn't keep their stance wide enough.
Jorms execution stats:
-8/10 style
-2/10 practicality (8/10 if you're a demigod)
Then you realise, judging by all the absurd executions that all the characters are superhuman monsters
The best thing about this new update is other people who know the reason they do certain stuff get it and appreciate it, but those who don't can still see it as cool, and the ones that are silly atleast for the mostpart are fast
Aside from too easy decaps as Raven says this new update really seems like a big step ahead, quick executions and most by actually using their weapons as fitting of how they are based on lore even if it looks stupid
I am a Highlander main and I want to say a word about the rating
I 100% percent agree with it, but I LOVE this finisher, it’s so dumb but at the same time I have been wanting a caber toss (log throw) finisher since he was released, this finisher is impractical, over the top and I love it
It’s also really brutal when he rips the entire blade all the way out of their throat.
I thought real Scottish highlanders did do sword throws like in his execution? Like as sport, making his one even better
Highland games they throw logs, still a sport
Yes its called a caber toss😉😉
Yeah he lost me with what he said on this gem of an execution
@@trollerthegreattrollertheg6234 He barely had me to begin with when I saw some of his fashion but what he said about High Sender was the final straw
@@finch3037 same my man same
I feel like warmongers execution she saw Highlander do his execution and thought she should try it and realized she is not nearly as strong and her sword is too small.
Highlanders execution is a silly one as well its literally just to reference the highland games.
Her's would have been good if she skipped the sword smack and just went for the takedown
I don’t care what anyone says, my scottish lad got a fricking caber toss as an execution!
Conqueror: does a meme about a sport that is impossible but sort of stylish
Dani: Hmm not my favorite but 7/10
Highlander: also has a meme of a traditional scottish sport, that looks pretty cool
Dani: *ANGERY* 1/10 maybe even 0/10 why ubi you are all monsters
Yeah the dude says "I'm not gonna be harsh on meme executions." then proceeds to shit on hl. Still great video for the other parts
Personally I absolutely love conqueror's, it's the perfect humiliation execution
Gryphon really should have been given more of Lawbringer's kit in forms of armor, since ya know, former Lawbringer but with some modifications.
Yeah but why is he even...there? He is just nothing new
Guys OMG, I have just found out that Gibbon doesn't exist1!2!
Its also one of, if not the best of this set of executions in terms of execution time and healing.
Lol I also find the HL ridiculous but I still use it cause its the closest I have to a MK fatality/brutality
This is irrelevant but I can’t ignore how beautiful you kensei looks like Jesus
I was hoping someone else noticed too, almost made me hop on to rep up my Kensei
Yo, it's Ranton 7/10 the execution review.
Been waiting for you glad you back
was waiting for this one!
“And to the people who say that I judged unfair, I say to you fuck you this is my video.”
LMAO
Gotta ask: What is up with ur bias against Gryphon? I assume u have a negative bias against him, cause this is the 3rd time u took a dumb on the character. On your Chimera armor revive, u just skipped him, on the Horkos armor revive, u made a Gryphon monkey joke, now u started by claiming u don't want to talk about Gryphon. I am just curious, why do you dislike the character?
Probably a victim of pre nerf gryphon lol
Or the fact that he can’t stand reused assets. I can understand to an extent, but if you ask me he’s being way too petty.
@@QueenFeng Note that the use of it is on staffs for a reason. You don’t need to hit the opponent on a certain side of the staff to hurt them.
Good video as always
I think you need to debate with solidsol about the highlander finisher I’d love to see that.
Looking at it closer it gets so much better (my favorite detail is how he really only turns around once the opponent falls down)
glad u appreciated the Nobushi, i love her since the beta, my fav character and she have so many INCREDIBILIS exy
Dani's kensei drip alone makes me want to play kensei. I want to make something like that but with a different color.
Yes.
Very concise and interesting video, keep it up ^-^
Just finished watching TheMajorN's recent translation video to find your video on the sidebar. Keep up the great work!
I got on youtube to listen to BFMV but then i saw that my boi posted a new video
The Hitokiri actually uses an axe kick for her execution
Axe kick into an axe
axecution
She's too used to her hands.
@@CaptainCFalcon 😏
I really love your kensei outfit could you maybe make a video on how to make it
People always have the same problem with cents, though that was to kill faster, the opponent is still alive before it and, the punch is what does it, let's them die quickly instead of slowly
holy shit, your kensei looks BEAUTIFUL!
Notice on tiandi's flip, they are always watching the openent even though they are down
I have been waiting for this video.
In terms of orochi's takedown, he uses traditional karate mixed with weapon based combat. All moves are effective and practical, and I've used those punches and kicks in that fashion during sparring before now. Style and form is perfect also.
The second punch of Centurion is probably another movie reference
Would love a jiu jitsu execution for shinobi. Like an iminari roll or something then a stab. Idk fits his character
As fas as Nobushi's finisher, the full-body one-leg extention is a real, accurate dueling technique for naginata, believe it or not. It was intended for use after driving an opponent beyond the two-handed range of your spear, as the range suddenly increasing by 50% would cath them off guard
Hitokiris kick is good again it’s a axe kick into a axe but all jokes aside the Hitokiri does a axe kick over onto his head which will push his head into the axe which will kill and with the power of the kick and gravity it’s a good finishing move
for warmommy
its an execution that you rly need to buy to actualy like it
it fits her character
but I have an beater Idea for it
its waaaay brutal and way unpractical
so
she implaes her opponent like she did at the start
but then holds her opponent with her left hand and with her right she grabs her handle
and then she starts pulls it upwards
yes this would mean that she would saw her opponent almost in half
and we seen other heroes doing it
but they usually do it quick
warmommy cant do it so opponents body would fall apart
yes it doesnt make sense
but keep in mind we are talking about a character whose top heavy finisher does a lot of dmg with ONE arm and she uses some gods poison to kill people
Be honest: You just did the slow-mo for Kensei just to show us your goddamn gorgeous Kensei Fashion.
Yooo the man is back
Hey Dani, I am in no way a huge fan of warmongers new execution but, I do appreciate it more after someone brought it to my attention that when she thrusts the sword through the abdomen the reason she slaps her weapon is to cut upwards on her victim from the center of the torso through the chest and to the collarbone on the front of the victim, also great vid man
Talking about Mal's comment? They admitted in the last sentence that she could've just done all of that without the need to slap the sword, or even let go of the hilt in the first place.
@@CaptainCFalcon I actually missed Mal’s comment but yeah he saying what I was shown, imo I don’t think it’s a 10/10 like Mal but it probably a solid 6-7 for me, sorry about not seeing that
LETS GOOOO
finally a forhonor channel focusing on practicality
Oh yeah that’s the stuff
Did you check out MajorN's exe translations yet? You might like em, or at least kensei's if you liked it so much. Great vid, and I love your customizations.
Warmonger? More like Reuse-monger
Also I think the Jiang finish is actually pretty much fine, retreating on one leg was to prevent his opponent from leg sweeped with his fist if you look at how the warden was positioned and once he realized he couldn't move he finished it.
For Shinobi, I mean, the fact he's using gardening tools (confirmed btw) makes the practicality a 1/10 automatically
holy shit that kensei fashion is just S tier
I think why we see such a gap in caliber of finisher quality is the actors experience in background. It looks like a swordsman mocapped kensei while characters like highlander look like they were mocapped by some guys goofing around.
Never thought I’d hear Job, life and For honor in the same sentence
1:28 bruh, the ONE time you get to dramatically overswing in a fight is when the mother fucker is basically already dead
Also, Gryphon doesn't belong with the Knights Ubi, like seriously wtf
Fuck yeah, I've been waiting for this since the executions came out. Almost every other video talking about these was absolute trash.
I don't know man. Anyway you should check out this other from Raven Knight: ruclips.net/video/s7lhTgLzy4M/видео.html
Personally I like it more because of the more accurate description about the physics behind the execution
Awesome, a long video!
Oy, when warmonger is hitting the sword, it actually cuts even more in the opponent. So basicly it was planned
Nobody seems to understand this, she isn't hitting the sword to punch it into the ground, but to send the blade cutting through the chest
Damn bro that Kensei looking nice
I've been playing this game since it launched. I stopped playing after the ccu update so I'm not sure how new these executions are, but they feel the same as they've been for the past two years. Maybe this game has lost its magic completely for me now, props to you guys for still being able to enjoy it
Hey man take your time I love the content
Yo! That kensei looks sick
his kensei looks baller as fuck and then he had to ruin it with a square tsuba smh
I think the axe head isn't hitting the neck, it's hitting the upper hand of the torso (more or less shoulder level)
