When you throw from the top, your hands actually have to slow down, which is a killer. Any move that necessitates a stall or deceleration to compensate wont work. On my right side I just feel like I'm swinging my right biceps and nothing involving the elbow or forearm. Keep everything loaded for later. Once the hands and elbow get involved too early everything has to stall.
