My son is in his late 30's and my daughter has just enjoyed her 40th birthday. They still talk about the time we spent together eating homemade cake at the table after school and my reading bedtime stories to them. My son is now reading to his little daughter. You are their rock, their place of safety and home is somewhere where they can be themselves. You create this environment.
