I take exquisite delight in knowing that I heard this song from the actual movie first and not Scooby-Doo but shout out to Scooby. It’s unique that two classics converge at the same place in a different time in the same universe. 😊
This has a bit of a Burt Bacharach/Hal David vibe about it, but without Dion Warwick's vocals. This song was stuck in my memories until RUclips came along. Thanks RUclips.......
This is my favorite movie song- the voice was just flat enough. That song made the movie. I was just a kid an we just got our 1st color tv- yeah I have been young a long time. This movie was the 1st movie I saw in our living room - it is a horrible movie but the Japanese were so stylish it made Japan look like a cool place that kept getting destroyed- Godzilla, Giant Frankenstein, Mothra (and the twins), Rodan, Giant Robot, the star aliens, that movie where the people turned into mushrooms. I watched, loved and admired them all. That movie with Idris made few years ago was slamming. Again the stylish/fashion/story was righ on. Kaiju rule.
Oh, my gosh for 50 plus years. I remembered her singing the words get stuck in my throat, Amazing what are brains hold on to. I remember this movie so well as a little kid
Many moons ago,I was discussing this film with a co-worker,and told them how much I love this movie and song. They said "Oh,you mean in a Mystery Science Theater 3000 kind of way?" I explained I wasn't a big fan of that show and felt that The War of the Gargantuas was a legitimately great film! Much like Sue in the classic Harry Chapin song "Taxi",they walked away in silence. : )
She almost got stuck in the monsters throat ! I remember this when I was a kid , just stumbled upon it on TV . San Francisco, Ca. Thanks for the clip ❤
HILARIOUS lyrics. I recently bought the vinyl soundtrack, finally released in the USA, and accidentally played the song on 33 rpm instead of 45 rpm and laughed so hard from beginning to end. Now I only play it on 33 rpm :)
My favorite part was watching her being eaten and her dress spit out! Perfect after the terrible singing we had just heard! We laughed so hard it what made the movie memorable!
Oh, thank you for saying that I felt bad. But I just remember her sounding very nasaly., I actually remembered it for over fifty dears that's how bad I thought it was
I remember when I was a kid this song used to make my dog howl in pain. Similar to when Mary Ann sang "I Want To Be Loved By You" on Gilligan's Island.
That song was used in Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated
Velma was a total cunt in that episode
Oh yah I remember that. Someone on that production was definitely a fan of these old monster flicks. LOL
Dead Head 😬
@@ZeeJBC I mean am I wrong
@@valence6023 Idk, she kinda pissed me off several times throughout the series
Mystery incorporated gang

Green Gargantua -"The girls get stuck in my throat..."🎵
Kipp Hamilton singing this song is delightful, entrancing, and heart-stealing

The more you know
I don’t think it was horrible at all; I ❤ it.
There was nothing like Monster Week on ch7 ABC 4:30 pm as a kid it as EVERYTHING!!
That'll teach them lounge lizards to celebrate when Gargantuas are destroying Tokyo.
The song sounds great remastered!
only the horns
Sounds great
Oh, my gosh for 50 plus years.

I love this. How do I not remember it from when I watched this a bunch of times on broadcast tv in the late 60’s early 70’s?
OMG! DEVO has done a remake of this!

"In a mystery science theater 3000 kind of way?" Sheesh...I'll never understand people...
+Conrad Widener WHAT A BITcH
Thank you.. .. a lovely song ..from creature features.. and a great devo cover
RIP Kipp Hamilton.
She almost got stuck in the monsters throat ! I remember this when I was a kid , just stumbled upon it on TV . San Francisco, Ca. Thanks for the clip ❤
We were kids jumping and running around laughing during that scene singing, "the girl got stuck in my throat".
HILARIOUS lyrics. I recently bought the vinyl soundtrack, finally released in the USA, and accidentally played the song on 33 rpm instead of 45 rpm and laughed so hard from beginning to end. Now I only play it on 33 rpm :)
Scooby doo got me interested in this 😅
Scooby Doo brought me here ☺️
Love this classic movie/song!!! Lol
KIPP HAMILTON IS LITERALLY A SINGING STAR WHEN SHE SUNG IN WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS✨✨✨✨🔥💯🎧🎧🎶🎶🎵🎵
The lady that sings this song in the movie, I saw her in a episode of Dragnet 67
with Jack Webb.
was that the one with a gargantua?
1960jack - I saw that same episode. I remember just as she was about to confess to Jack Webb, the words got... well, you know the rest.
Kipp Hamilton was her name, and she also appeared in Raw Hide, Family Affair, Harlow,a good actress in my opinion.
Her name was Kipp Hamilton, if you saw in the credits in the beginning of the movie✨✨🎶🎵
My favorite part was watching her being eaten and her dress spit out! Perfect after the terrible singing we had just heard! We laughed so hard it what made the movie memorable!
The best part
Oh, thank you for saying that I felt bad. But I just remember her sounding very nasaly., I actually remembered it for over fifty dears that's how bad I thought it was
Sorry to say, but your memory is wrong lol two different scenes. The clothes spitting is when Gaira attacks during the day with cloud cover lol
I remember when I was a kid this song used to make my dog howl in pain. Similar to when Mary Ann sang "I Want To Be Loved By You" on Gilligan's Island.
Dawn Wells was such a terrible singer that they DUBBED her singing, so it isn't even her. They hired yet more incompetence.
Producer's gaijin mistress, or the only gaijin karaoke bar singer they could find on short notice.
im stuck in gargantua throat... im stuck in gargantua throat....
Jeff Vargas kind of like the woman got swallowed by the Green one.
The wooords get stuck in my throat...
No.... no, unfortunately they did not.
The crowd cheered, but it was for the monster putting an end to it.
Scooby dooby dooooooo
Wish I could have seen the clips from the movie of her singing
I wish someone post the clip
Thank you. It was stuck in my head 😂
The greatest song from the kaiju era!!! Haha!
They should play this in the upcoming "Godzilla vs Kong".
Scooby doo lead me to this gem
I love this song..but I keep thinking perverted thoughts hehe
AYOOOOO
Kipp Hamilton: Now its stuuuuck right in my throat" 😂
Was the sister in law of Carol burnett
If not for this song, I would not be watching this movie again. Why is this included in a Godzilla marathon???
This is the movie that inspired Brad Pitt to become an actor
Yeah
Anyone managed to find this on Spotify?
Nope
i sure wish
Des anyone know who wrote this song and who the band was.?
what s the name of the song and singer
The song is called Feel in my Heart and the singer's name Kipp Hamilton (a long dead actress).
0:11
Devo stole this song.
This song is so campy and those trumpets, after each chorus, it’s like, their so predictable.
The song sucked at 7 years old watching this movie debut, as it does now.
How old are you? Cause your comment just sounds idiotic
Was this lady really that bad of a singer or was she singing that badly on purpose?
Some of those hard notes should of got stuck in her throat.
It sounds like someone is beating a cow with a sack of doorknobs.
