Hey mike, I have been breeding for shiny ralts at ruby, just want to ask does it affect the odds if it change the parents out as I really want willowisp on ralts. Can I say the eggs are predetermined when you get it from the care giver.
I know this is an old video, but do you have to leave your game on the whole time when shiny egg hatching in emerald? I know you have to for random encounters and run aways to generate new frames, but I'm not sure if the same applies for egg hatching
Great question! So in my mind/opinion/experience, no you do not. It is incredibly hard to hit the same exact frame after even as little as 10 mins of playing through the game
So what's the best set up for doing eggs in Gen 3? Is the shininess determined after picking up the egg or before it hatches? I'd love to hunt some of the harder to find Gen 3 mods but release boxes of eggs would get tedious as hell lol
Shininess is determined when the old man steps forward. That is when all egg data is generated. As far as the optimal strategy for hatching, it really is up to you. You can fill up the PC or hatch one at a time. I’ve done both and for me, I prefer hatching one at a time
Your using a Ds lite with a capture card I know the Ds lite plays gba games Such good quality image Still wondering how you do this picture image on a PC
So it’s actually a DS fat, I don’t believe the DS lites are capture card compatible (at least as far as I’ve seen). But thanks! And I’m sorry, what do you mean picture image on pc?

New to shiny hunting doing it on sapphire, 1,267 eggs down so far no shinny ralts just yet, got a shiny Mudkip in the beginning within 3 resets

Egg hunting 10000%. I have been phasing for Ralts on one system since December 2020. Egg hunting is much better if you don’t wish to phase
