Still very inappropriate and a heavy situation, but he was not accused of any SA or crimes along the lines of Weinstein or Subway's Jared. I feel like these distinctions are important.
@@Theeosees The distinctions are important, but the biggest problem is that Middleditch has never publicly apologized. It wouldn't be hard to do. Putting out a statement that the behaviors were inappropriate and that he's going to change himself for the better would go a long way towards rehabilitating his image. People can be very forgiving, and the entertainment industry would give him another chance. But he hasn't taken that first step for some reason. Stubbornness? Defiance? As a result, he hasn't been on TV or film in two years.

I agree on a top guest, but being an actual sexual assaulter is not something Scott would wanna even seem like he's in favor of.
