They are still so great..........I just listened to L.S.F.T.R this morning. Then I listened to Screeching Weasel BOOGADBOOGADABOOGADA.........I love that time in music. Early to mid 90's re-ignited some of the punk's from the 80's.....and this is coming from a mostly hardcore guy so whatever. I just miss those days skating and humming these songs. Where has the time gone....fuck me. I'm an old guy all of a sudden. 41 in Jan......still feel 15 watching this.
The crazy thing is they have a loosely defined set list. Joe King calls out the songs based on the vibe of the crowd. He’s like a quarterback running a no huddle offense 😂
The Ramones played their whole show as fast as possible, every song back to back and only breaking long enough to yell 1,2,3,4 between a few songs.... and I seriously thought I might die because of it. I saw them on a humid, 90+ degree afternoon in August, at an outside venue with no cover that was completely covered in blacktop which baked in the sun all day.... also, I had to watch from in front of the stage, because I was only a kid and still shorter than everybody . In less than half an hour of nonstop Ramones, I started to have trouble breathing. The problem was that I was chest high to everybody and due to the high humidity, major heat radiating off the blacktop, everybody being packed tightly together while totally soaked in sweat from a nonstop pit and breathing heavily, exhaling down toward me, the air became nearly unbreathable and I couldn't get a full breath- it was like breathing into a small paper bag. Since the whole place was a giant pit, with only a small open area in the back and I was up front, the only way I coulda made it was by jumping above the crowds head height to take a big breath and holding it as long as possible while squeezing through the crowd, then doing it again- over and over. There were a number of times that I couldnt even get a good enough breath jumping and nearly passed out. I was a kid, so I thought I was gonna die, but even today, being trapped and not being able to catch my breath would be scary as shit. Anyway, you made me think of this horrible situation.... that I dont regret at all cause I got to see The Ramones live!!!
I have been to many shows in my life. I have yet to see the Queers. I've have been a fan since my teens. I will be the old guys who stands off to the side😂
The cancel culture in a pit these days is ridiculous. If gatekeeping zoomers cant punch you out of it they lie to a bouncer that you are assaulting women.
Hell yeah thanks for uploading this. Great to see them still going. Joe must be like 60 now isn't he? They were around in the early 80s. I like Punk Rock Confidential the most. Man such a great album.
There is a straight line from Jan Berry,Brian Wilson,Paul McCartney,Joe King .This group had a cosmic level ear for harmony. This band is among the greatest Rock-n-Roll bands ever.that is thought ridiculous by the majority --but it's fact:This is real Rock-n-Roll.Like Ramones, every song is great.Loud,fast.They are Rock-n-Rolls next step that started with Chuck Berry, gene Vincent, buddy Holly then Jan and dean, beach boys, Beatles, stones, then New York dolls, heartbreakers, Ramones to the clash to the queers.they have the formula perfected.Joe King should be thought of as among the greats-amazing song writer of simple songs that require a special sophistication to truly understand. If they had a different name they could have been as big as shit poser bands like greenday.Joe probably named the band that to NOT become that and compromise who he is for the sake of fame.Call me mental, but they are among the top 5 bands ever
THE QUEERS ARE DEFINITELY NOT HERE!! Worst Queers lineup EVER out of over 30+ different lineups since 1981!! I love Joe King but he seems a bit unsure of his onstage performance stance and moves and playing the sole lead singer / frontman role is not his strong suite. Classic Joe Queer is lead vocalist / fastest downstroke buzzsaw rhythm guitarist this side of Johnny Ramone!! These nondescript new queers are not gonna make the cut!! Especially tall & lanky wanker lead guitarist Mr. Prissy Longhair with his super annoying Pantene Pro-V jet black mane moves thrown in every other 15 seconds!!
@@06090401111111111111 lmao. I'm not personally a fan of that at concerts; I don't mind getting jostled around a bit but have less than zero interest in being in a pit. But for people who like that, rock on.

Damn, the way they do songs back-to-back like that is insane.

Joe Queer is a legend no doubt about that

The best they’ve ever sounded. That set was fire 🔥
❤❤increïble!!
They are the most prolific tourers in punk land.
what a goated set list!!
Just awesome...after all these years...still great!!!
This is an awesome show. I will be back for more listens.
*Best rockNroll band after the Beach Boys & Ramones. Period.* 🇺🇲
This is a great live performance, just song after song with no delay, a true punk experience.
Alguém tem o set list?
Thank you ethan

Probably my favorite lineup for The Queers.

who's the long hair guitar player?
Plays good but looks like he's in the wrong band😅
@@ironclaw79 I'm saying...dudes whipping his hair around like he's in a slayer cover band
@@jeffblakeart5530Maybe so but he’s rock solid on these tunes
I don't know........but Chuck Biscuits didn't match the rest of Social Distortion, but still kicked ass.
Why did he change thr Danny Vapid song? I hope they are not submitting to cancel culture
They sound good but what's up with the lame audience?
Eh they look ok to me. They're not going insane but eh. I'd rather be in that crowd than one with a bunch of idiots slamming around.
But yeah they sound great. Like to see Joe play guitar but they sound tight with him just focusing on singing.

Joe can't play guitar anymore?
Dunno, maybe he has arthritis in his hands or something? He's getting up there in age lol. He must be 60 or very close to it.
@@clamum9648 😅 he's older than 60
@@leahflower9924 I dunno when he was born, I figured probably in the early 60s since they were a band in like '81
He played guitar last week. Heard em say he’d play on this tour as a 3 piece so he didn’t have to hear people ask if he can’t play guitar anymore lol😅
You gotta be pretty bad at guitar to not be able to play stuff like this. No offense and I love The Queers and bands like them but still, lol.
