Thanks David, thought of you when I found the Roman road and hope to do much more history content next year, along with filming the rides….just need a better laptop as current one can’t cope with the Adobe software and need to save up for one 😂 👍🏻
Thanks for the review - the food and ale looked very appealing - and I liked the unisex wc/shower modules - for ten pounds per night in that particular area is great value for money - many thanks once again Andrew for an informative video
Great video again Andrew very informative as always just been up at Sykside for 4 days with the family in the car next weekend end off to Dent & High lanning on the bikes for the weekend stay safe m8 look forward to your next video.
Thanks John, i like the look of Sykside but they seemed to have increased price quite a bit for solo traveller from pre Covid….have a great time up at Dent, think I’m heading for Seathwaite, Keswick next week 👍🏻
Another great upload Andrew, this looks like a great site... it just goes to show you don't have to spend a fortune to see some lovely parts of the world!! Keep them coming 👍
@@thecampingbiker791 I’m actually arranging a trail riding weekend around there before the cold weather comes in that will require camping. I may check it out thanks 👍🏼
Nice vid, have stayed there a couple of times. When i spoke to Laura in May she said they could only accomodate 35 pitches. Whether thats changed now i dont know but i really like the site and the English Breakfast is great and the lady running the cafe is very friendly. Will be back again soon. Off to Hadrians wall campsite on the 1st Sept for a couple of nights.
Hi Bob, I’m sure there were more than that when I visited, possibly with things relaxing since May it could have made a difference….yes, lovely cafe owner and those Pizzas are brilliant! What’s the Hadrian’s campsite like? Quite fancy a trip that way 👍🏻
Hi Just come from Crooklands (waters edge caravan park) only a few miles from where you are. They have there own pub i think you would like that, this area is lovely and good for fishing. I am off to Hesketh Bank next week for 4 days fishing. Keep enjoying yourself-keep safe Micky
Hi Micky, yes I know that site (lived in Kendal for decades) it’s a nice site! Good to see you getting out and about….have you ever camped/fished at Charity Farm, Eccleston? It looks a great site also with fishing and is just a couple of miles from me
@@thecampingbiker791 Zip codes? The abbreviations of WA, OR, ID, CO, and MT stand for the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Colorado, and Montana. Very large areas actually. Years of exploring. :-) LOL If you can get to these states, there are currently no restrictions right now for exploring them. But for the wildfires, that is. Best to come in the spring (May) before the fires get started. Ride safe!! :-)
Ah, got it! Over here our equivalent post codes use the two first letters as indictors of area as well…..at least most of the time 😆 I think it could now be 2/3 years for doing the trip across there, but you never know 👍🏻 Plan was to travel for about a year, obviously keeping an eye on visa restrictions and aiming for as much camping as possible….just worry about the things that can eat me 😂
Yes Niall, a really nice place and cafe was brilliant..I did pre book as it was the weekend and it’s a bit iffy with all the families camping but I needn’t have bothered as there had been lots of cancellations with poor weather forecast and NHS app pinging! I’m only booking if on a Friday and Saturday and even then still taking some chances, most sites would squeeze you on if turning up solo and I expect normal camping will resume in September, keep safe, regards Andrew
You just keep outdoing yourself in every new vid. Couldn't have asked for a better pizza. Thanks again for sharing with us. Keep up the Great Work.
