A fellow metal head recently passed away. He had an album shelf. I am paying homage by listening to every band he had on his shelf I hadn't heard of.... Im glad I did. Then I wouldn't have found this. Thanks alan... Rest in peace.
thanks for the upload, dude. should be getting the tour edition record in a few days. this album is truly amazing, as the rest of knut's stuff. it's a shame that they're on permanent hiatus now, you don't hear hardcore/sludge bands like this everyday.
If you have experienced them live you know why they were the only European band on Hydra Head back in the day. At a certain point during their set I took a couple of minutes in the hallway of the venue because it was too heavy :)
I remember one show in Madrid, they were playing over some beer empty boxes and plywood as the stage. They brought their hell to that place, impressive. They were like floating while playing, almost falling down, bad for the band, sure, but what a view from the crowd (about 20 people). What a sound boy! I saved their van to be taken away from police, because they parked it in a forbidden place. I cannot recall what I told to those unfriendly cops, probably I was drunk as hell, which makes it even funnier. The band was really nice after the show, good guys! I briefly remember talking about Linux and graphic design with the singer, super nice guy :) But there were a bunch of bands that could easily fit in hydrahead or relapse back then: breach, shora, nostromo, nine, xmilk, aina, all ill, to name just a few

My condolences. That looks like a really worthy homage and a good way to deal with your loss.
wow, I'm so sorry, I grew up with this band as a high school kid.
@Seth Dorian fuck off ya fanny
Love the album cover
I've probably listened to this 100 times within the past year. this album is truly a journey

Thank you for uploading this!
Yes
technical !
I will take good ol'Knut than the overrated bullshit sludge that comes out nowdays, any time...
Knut on their least good part in their discography will indeed destroy any new sludge at their best.
