I think Pentatonix, Voiceplay and Home Free are all amazing, and should all be checked out. (Are there any other a capella groups out there worth checking out?)
Pentatonix without a doubt are The Best Acapella group as far as l'm concerned! Home-Free & Voiceplay are very good too but Ptx is on a different level or rather on a league of their own! They're actually the very first ones to bring something totally new to acapella & elevated it to a whole new level...using soccer analysis, PTX=Pele & Voiceplay & Homefree are Messi & Maradona!
The tall blond guy is Scott Hoying, Baritone; the girl is Kirsten Maldonado, Mezzo-Soprano, the guy with the hat is Mitch Grassi, Counter-Tenor; the bearded guy with the turban is Avi Kaplan, Basso Profundo; The beatboxer/also Cellist beatboxer, is Kevin Olusola, Tenor. Scott, Kirsten, and Mitch met in a high school in Arlington, TX, and then, went on to various universities to major in music. They got together eventually, and added the other two by word of mouth. They won a tv music competion show called "Sing-Off." The rest is history.
You're not trippin'. That's them making every sound. You'll not find a group with more talent and skill. Every thing they've produced is perfect. They don't do covers, they do upgrades. Pentatonix has completely overhauled a cappela. They have several Christmas albums out now and every song is amazing. My current favorite is "The First Noel". It blows your socks off. I'm glad we've found another new Pentaholic. Welcome to the club. 😁
You will never be disappointed by this group. This was the first one I heard from them and immediately fell in love. Been a Pentaholic ever since. Opened this great grandmother's eyes to never judge a book by its cover. Hope you go on to enjoy all they have to offer. God Bless you and your family and thank you for your review.
Welcome to the A Capella group, Pentatonix! They're crazy good, have won 3 Grammys and have an album nominated for a fourth. They also have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They've been singing together for 11 years now. I hope you do more of their outstanding songs...some are covers, but they also have loads of originals. And any covers they do become upgrades when they work their magic on them. They have a catalogue of some 200+ songs, so any you choose will be fine with us, their fans. Subbed for more Pentatonix
Pentatonix has been around for about 12 years now. this was done in 2015-2016. This was done when they still had Avi Kaplan in the group. He sang the second verse. Now Matt Salee is the bass singer. Pentatonix They won The Sing Off in 2011. They made a guest starring appearance on America′s Got Talent as non−competitors a couple of years after that. The founding members are:- Scott Hoying (tall blond guy, natural baritone but has an impressive five−to−six octave range, can go all the way up to high tenor and down to bass, sings the bass lines when the usual bass singer takes the lead);
Kirstin "Kirstie" (Rhymes with "Thirsty")Maldonado (the only female member, natural mezzo soprano, but can go down to low alto and as high as upper soprano, also can sing in whistle notes that are off the scale); Mitch Grassi (a true contra−tenor, can hit high notes in his chest voice with ease and go WAY higher in his falsetto, also with ease); and Avriel "Avi" Kaplan (dark beard and long hair, true basso profundo, trained as an opera singer, also can go up into the tenor range; Kevin "KO" Olusola (beatboxer extraordinaire, also is a world−class cellist who plays cello on some of their songs, has a beautiful high tenor voice and gets occasional lead vocal solos as well, graduated pre−med from Yale and speaks several languages including Mandarin Chinese). Kirstie, Scott & Mitch grew up together in Arlington, Texas, and began performing together as children in local youth musical theater. They ended up in high school together and performed in the choir. While there, they formed an a cappella group called The Trio which had several performance videos go viral on RUclips, most notably a cover of Lady Gaga′s "Telephone". The three of them are best friends and consider themselves to be almost siblings. Scott & Kirstie (who were a class year ahead of Mitch) both graduated high school in 2010 and went their separate ways to different colleges, Scott at USC and Kirstie at Oklahoma. While at USC, Scott joined a USC−based a cappella group called the SoCal VoCals, where he met alumnus Ben Bram, who was now an arranger and vocal coach for the NBC TV show The Sing Off, an a cappella competition show. Ben convinced Scott to get The Trio to audition for the show. The three reunited (Mitch had to skip high school graduation ceremonies to go) in Los Angeles for the audition. They found out that the rules had changed, so they needed at least five members to audition. Ben put them together with Avi (a native of Visalia, California), who he knew from Avi′s performing days at Mount San Antonio College in California. They found Kevin (from Kentucky) through one of his RUclips videos that had gone viral featuring him playing the cello and beatboxing at the same time, a talent that Kevin coined as "Cello−Boxing". Kevin arrived in Los Angeles literally the day before the audition! Scott came up with the name "Pentatonix" after the pentatonic scale. They performed a re−arrangement of "The Telephone" for the audition and passed, despite having been together as a five−piece group for less that 24 hours! They won The Sing Off that season (all of the performances are available on RUclips), in which they received a substantial cash prize AND a record contract with Epic Records. They pooled their prize winnings together and all moved to Los Angeles, and all got apartments right next door to each other in the same building. But just a week later, Epic dropped them because the marketing people didn′t think an a cappella group could sell records. Instead of giving up, they were determined and began recording their own songs on RUclips, hiring Ben Bram as their producer and arranger. These usually consisted of the five of them sitting on a couch and performing cover songs live. Several of the videos went viral, and Sony (the parent company of Epic) decided to give them another chance by placing them on one of their smaller labels, Madison Gate. They released two secular EPs and one Christmas EP on Madison Gate, all of which were strong sellers. But when their cover of a medley of songs by Daft Punk not only went super−viral, but also won them their first Grammy, they were promoted all the way up to RCA Records, Sony′s top label. They began writing and producing their own songs in addition to their covers, began putting out a Christmas album just about annually (which has become their best−selling genre), and have had multi−platinum album sales, sold−out world tours, and have won two additional Grammys. Avi began getting burned out with all of the touring and heavy recording schedule, was suffering from anxiety and personal problems, and learned that his mother had been diagnosed with cancer in 2017. He announced he was departing from the group and taking some time away from the music industry. Matt Sallee (from Baltimore) was brought in as the new bass singer in early 2018. When he attended the audition for the group, he had already mastered the Bass part for most if not all their past catalogue. He was successful and has proved that he fits in well with the group. After a year away from music, Avi has now returned as a phenomenal solo artist in the Folk/Americana/Roots genre. Ben Bram has been in charge of their production, including arranging and directing from the beginning. He is often referred to as the sixth member. Scott and Kevin are major players in the arrangements, but every member contributes. Also, all members are songwriters for both Pentatonix and their own solo work. Ed Boyer who mixes everything of theirs (even the HWB Livestream) is the one who pulled Ben Bram into the sing off in the first place.
Best review of them ever! Great job 👏 . I’m glad you mentioned Avi’s mother. That is very important. A break in touring schedule Avi and his sister Esther jumped on a plane to go to their mom, then flew back to the tour. The fatigue, oh my. Talk about burn out. Thanks again.
@@jillosler9353 I should edit this text again to add their nomination for a 4th Grammy for their album Evergreen, Kirstie being a new mum which caused a pause in touring after their Evergreen Christmas tour 2021, and the star on the Hollywood walk of fame to be installed next year.
Pentatonix is a 3 time Grammy award winning accapella group. They have been singing together for more than 10 years with only one member change. A I the bass singer left on good terms in 2017 and they added a new bass singer Matt. Check out more of their music. Also, they have been nominated for a fourth Grammy this year.
💖 **MITCH GRASSI, IS THE RAREST OF MALE VOICES, A COUNTER TENOR, & EXQUISITE TO OUR EARS** 💖 I have often been lost for words, when trying to describe Pentatonix's unique vocals & sound, & I still cannot express, or even come to terms, with what my ears are hearing, most times, but one thing I do know, is that, when I hear their voices, it always takes me to a place, that touches my heart, & can make me feel things, I didn't even know existed!!! To me, that is their gift, & what makes them, not only an amazing group, but incredible artists 💝 **THEY TRULY ARE A RARE GIFT** 💝
You just stumbled upon the FASTEST way to grow a RUclips channel lol. Pentaholics are VERY loyal and there's MILLIONS of us. Keep up the pentatonix reaction and watch your sub counts explode!
You have found the perfect time to discover this group. While all of their music is incredible, both covers (upgrades, as Pentaholics refer to them) and originals. They absolutely OWN the holiday music genre, with the release of their 6th Christmas album this year, they have three of the best-selling Christmas albums of all time. 2014's 'That's Christmas to Me' album went to #2 on Billboard and became the highest charting Chrstmas album since 1962, only to be followed in 2016 with the #1 album 'A Pentatonix Christmas' that this song appeared on. To see what I mean when I say "upgrade" you need to check out their reimagining of 'O' Come All Ye Faithful' to get a taste of what they do with an old standard.
The thing I love about this group is that they subordinate their egos to the music, and deliberately work as a group. Each has a star-class voice, and they each pull back to allow another to shine. This kind of generosity is rare in a field with a lot of monstrous egos. I really enjoyed watching your reactions, from mild interest, to repeatedly being impressed, to awe and speechless. Delightful! Thank you
Yes, more PTX (Pentatonix) please! I recommend "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Imagine" just to get to know them better, However, since it is the Christmas season, "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" and "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" are also great choices depending upon your preferences. Any song you choose will make you smile and marvel at the level of talent in this group.
The dude that sings bass is UNBELIEVEABLE! One of the truest bass singers I've ever heard. The percussion is also done by either mouth, drum or cello. They were discovered on a talent show. Pretty sure they won. It was a competition for a capella groups. Can't remember the name but I watched all their performances.
That bass is Avi Kaplan (beard and beanie). He left the group in 2017 and has a successful (but very different) career as a singer songwriter. The group got together in 2011 to enter a TV talent contest called the Sing Off. All episodes are on RUclips if you want to see where they started. There's a LOT of Pentatonix songs to check out - just put their name into the RUclips search and see what takes your fancy.
In this song two singers trade off singing the bass. Avi, with the beard, is the normal bass but Scott takes over when Avi has a solo. That happened in this song. If you want to continue with Christmas songs, I suggest Pentatonix "Oh Come All Ye Faithful". It's an African themed version of the traditional church song. It starts with Avi singing bass and Kevin doing the beat boxing.
Yes, they are an accapella group. Kevin is their beat boxer & I am convinced that he swallowed an.entire orchestra. Everything is done with their voices only.
Hey, Dad, glad you found Pentatonix! New subscriber, here for all the PTX you care to feature. I found them when I was amusing myself during the pandemic and have never been disappointed. They are masters of this type of epic anthem (Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Prayers for This World, Amazing Grace) and Christmas (O Come All Ye Faithful, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Little Drummer Boy). Their covers are stellar (Bohemian Rhapsody, Problem, Imagine) and their medleys are stunners (Daft Punk, 90s Dance Music, Evolution of Michael Jackson). Originals? Try Anchor, Sing, or Coffee in Bed. Honestly, any title that catches your eye will be good. Their line-up has had only one change since they formed in 2011, when the bass singer opted for a solo career in 2017 and the band added Matt to the crew. I hope you decide to do more PTX, I enjoyed your reaction to this one. Peace from Ohio …
They are an a cappella group. They rarely have music in there songs. The first singer with Scott. He is a Baritone, but will take over the bass when the person who sings bass has lead vocal. Second to sing was Avi. Avi is the bass. He has, since left the group (for personal reasons), and has been replaced with met. The third to saying is Kirsten she is a Soprano, and the only woman in the group. Mitch (the person with the hat) is a Countertenor and has a 5+ octave range. When people hear his voice for the first time, it’s comically called “Being Mitch Slapped” as everyone is so surprised at how high his voice is. The last person of the group is Kevin. Kevin is the beatboxer, he is a Tenor and a accomplish cello player. He actually has his own RUclips channel of him, playing the cello and beatboxing at the same time (which is how Scott discovered him. Kevin has played on a few of their songs. Kevin, Mitchell, and Kirsten, all went to high school together and have known each other for many years. Avi and Kevin were added when they decided to audition for “Sing Off”. When were they were looking for a beatboxer to join them to develop a group to audition for a TV show called “Sing Off”. They did eventually win that competition. They have won three Grammys so far. The first was for “Daft punk“. This was one of their first releases. Their second Grammy was for “dance of the sugarplum fairies“. Yeah, third Grammy was for “Jolene“ which they sang with Dolly Parton. Their album “Evergreen” from last year has been nominated for a Grammy in the upcoming ceremony. Their fans are called “Pentaholics”. You’ll find it there version of “Bohemian Rhapsody” is amazing. Brian May from the group Queen, actually commented on it, and pointed people to the video as he was so impressed with what they did. Sidenoteside note: , I always listen to the songs with earphones on. Their mixer loves to have the music jump from one ear to the other. Also, there are a number of videos that show you them seeing in concert, behind the scenes, there is even one video of them recording the album “Evergreen” which is fascinating to see the process of developing their sound.
Isn’t it a blast to watch people’s first reaction to any Pentatonx song ? I find myself nodding along and waiting for “that face” when it clicks that it’s all voices and a stellar beat boxer.
Pentatonix is the best a cappella group there is. Avi (bearded guy with beanie) was the bass, he's awesome. He has a great solo career now. Their new bass is good too.
For crazy check out their Grammy Award winning songs. "Daft Punk Medley" & "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" & " Jolene". Also for fun check out their "90's Dance Medley".
"I'm not tripping...right?" Nah. Its just Pentatonix. They kind of have that kind of effect on folks sometimes. Nice reaction. You got my sub. Take care all.
Hey Dad…..welcome to the world of PTX…..Your channel will blow up my friend. We the fans are referred as Pentaholic’s. A fierce and loyal fan base. We will guide you down their over 11 year rabbit hole. My first PTX video was Bohemian Rhapsody. I was raised on Queen and PTX did not disappoint. That was over 6 years ago. Enjoy your journey Dad…..Judy D from NY State
I love first time reactions to Pentatonix. They are absolutely huge - their version of Hallelujah has been viewed nearly 700 million times! They have been together since 2011, with only one change in the group - the bass (the guy who looks like Jesus in a beanie in this one!) Avi, who left amicably in 2017 and has been replaced by Matt Sallee, who is also phenomenal. Three members - Scott (tall, blonde), Mitch (high tenor voice in a hat in this one) and Kirstin have been friends since they were 8 years old and sang in high school together. They recruited Kevin (beatboxing, cello and cello boxing, but he also sings!) and Avi to form a group to enter the third season of the a cappella competition 'The Sing Off', which they won. The prize was a Sony record contract but Sony dropped them after a few weeks because they didn't think a cappella would be commercial enough. They decided to go it alone and acquired a huge following on RUclips and later got record contracts and have made several massively selling albums and 200+ songs in their catalogue, all different styles. They are known best for their covers and Christmas songs but their originals are fantastic and much under-rated. They have won three Grammy's and are up for another one for their Christmas album last year, Evergreen. The Grammy's even created a category just for them. They have recently been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. They sell out huge venues around the world (I'm in the UK and am seeing them next May, can't wait!). I'm 53 and I love them, my 24-year-old daughter loves them and my two young nephews love them. They span all ages. As a newbie, I would recommend their Daft Punk Medley, which won them their first Grammy, Bohemian Rhapsody - which Brian May said was one of the best covers of it ever made - wait till you see how they do the guitar solo on that! Also, The Prayer is beautiful. If you're into rap (all the current members can rap) try 'Can't stop us now' - the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis cover or Ariane Grande Problem cover. My favourite original is 'Love again' - if you like EDM, you'll like that one. All of their 'evolution' videos are brilliant too. For Christmas songs, Carol of the bells, Drummer Boy, Oh Come all Ye Faithful, or their new original ones 'Prayers for this world' and 'Kid at Christmas' with Meghan Trainor. You're going to start to have a problem with having their videos blocked, there are ways round that, stop and comment, put wording over the video, make it quite transparent. Pentaholics won't mind as we know the videos very well! There! That's a lot of information, enjoy the rabbit hole!
You are now in a cappella heaven. Their current Christmas album "Holidays Around the World" was released about a month ago. You can check their channel. They release a new Christmas album every three years or so. They also do amazing covers, two suggestions are John Lennon's "Imagine" and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody"; they really make them their own. Two members, Scott and Mitch have an offshoot channel "Superfruit" and do a wonderful rendition of Katy Perry's "Rise". Another a cappella group to check out is "Home Free"
You ask where they came from, how they got started, go no further than the Sing-Off competition they won. This will answer all and prepare to have ur mind blown away 🤯🤯
You are in the PTX rabbit hole now. Yeah... no instruments and you ain't tripping. They have a ton of stuff so dive in sir. You will be impressed. Nice reaction. ❤☮🙏
The first two singers trade off making the amazing bass line while the other sings. Kevin is the percussion. He also sings and plays the cello. Sometimes doing all three.
Nice reaction, welcome to Pentatonix. May I suggest their 90s dance medley as a next reaction for your channel. It’s all A cappella (they do use some auto tune for one of Cher‘s songs) though.
Just subscribed. I love Pentatonix. Hope you react to more of them. They are an acapella group. I believe the best. You should react to some of there Christmas music now that it's Christmas. The Grinch, Sugar plum fairy , Carol of the bells. You can't go wrong with what ever you choose to react to. They also do Bohemian Rhapsody, The Evolution of Michael Jackson and so much more. Enjoy.
Beautiful reaction to my favourite group. I subscribed hoping to hear more Pentatonix. Listen to them doing “ come all ye faithful “ try not to dance it’s amazing 🤩
Wonderful reaction! I am glad to see you enjoyed their beautiful rendition. You may also enjoy their renditions of Problem and Can’t Hold Us. Their evolution series and 90’s Dance Medley are great too. Best wishes from Tennessee 😊🇺🇸
Watch their " Daft Punk " and Amazing Grace ( My Chains Are Gone " videos. I've been listening to them since they were on The Sing Off and won. The cover they have for "Imagine " is AMAZING as well. The white guy that sings bass Amazing Grace and Imagine isn't in the group anymore so that's why he isn't in the Amazing Grace cover.
The best acapella group ever 😍 remember that day, this is the first time you hear Pentatonix ! If you keep going, you'll discover amazing songs and become addict 😉 check Daft Punk, Mary did you know and Bohemian Rapsody to start, you won't be disappointed ! And by the way, the bass singer is Avi Kaplan, with the beanie. One of the greatest bass singer on the planet. Hope to see you react more of Pentatonix. Thanks 😘
WARNING... The Pentaholics will find you... They are amazing and have a plethora of Christmas songs, covers and originals... they will bombard you, so I wont... but you'll get lots of followers... best of luck, I will sub as well to watch your journey.✌️❤️
Glad to see a new person discover Pentatonix. This is the song to really dig in and see what they're about. "Bohemian Rhapsody" and their Daft Punk medley (which won them their first major award) will blow your mind with what their voices can do. The latter won them their first award, while the former shows Mitch (their high tenor) standing in for guitar.
Pentatonix is acapella, once in a while in a song they use a cello, but you see it. Jump down this rabbit hole and watch you subscrber numbers go up fast, they have a hugh following. There fans are called pentaholics. They have original, they do a lot of covers, but they turn a cover into an upgrade. I have seen them live, and they sound just like the they do in the videos.
Pentatonic, acappea group...Evolution of Michael Jackson. Bohemian Rhapsody Deft Punk Home Free another Acappea group... Contestant Sorrow Ring of Fire Rick Astley.. Never gonna Give You Up Then lesson to Home Free Version.. Enjoying your Channel
Think of a song that you hate, either because you've heard it too many times or because you've heard too many bad renditions of it. Now, type the name of that song into RUclips's search box, but add the word "Pentatonix." If they've covered the song that will bring it up. Once you've found a Pentatonix cover for a song that you hate, listen to it. It will likely become your new favorite. Specific recommendations: • Daft Punk Medley (their first Grammy winner) • Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (their second Grammy winner) • Jolene (made in collaboration with Dolly Parton - their third Grammy winner, awarded jointly to Pentatonix and Dolly Parton) • O Come All Ye Faithful • Imagine • Sound of Silence • Bohemian Rhapsody • The Prayer • Seasons of Love • Evolution of Music • Sesame Street: Pentatonix Counts (& Sings) to Five • C is for Cookie/Rubber Ducky - Pentatonix feat. Cookie Monster • The Lucky Ones • I Just Called To Say I Love You • [Official Video] Aha! - Pentatonix (Imogen Heap Cover)
Great first reaction! PTX is legit for sure. 3 Grammys and a 4th nomination in the bank for their Evergreen album from last year. New sub for more PTX. They have a huge catalog, 11 years worth, just pick a song that resonates with you and we "Pentaholics" can guarantee you will not be disappointed. Cheers!
Yes, Pentatonix is a pretty unique experience. They completely revolutionized a cappella singing with their immense vocal talent and inspired creativity. There's SO much more for you to enjoy, especially now at Christmastime. They have an extensive Christmas catalogue. Would love to hear your reaction to their arrangement of "O Come All Ye Faithful."
New subscriber here and a Pentaholic too. Looking forward to you going down this rabbit hole. In my opinion Pentatonix is the best acapella group ever. You should definitely check out the following by them too - Mad World, Daft Punk, Love Again (this is one they wrote themselves), Bohemian Rhapsody, The Prayer, Radioactive, Wizard of Ahhh's, Say Something.....just to name a few.
Hi Dad - Welcome to our happy world of PTX, Here’s a few songs…there are SO MANY…just keep looking and you will be amazed at their diversity and TALENT ! New Rules Problem 90’s Dance Shallow
Pentatonix is in my opinion the best a capella groups ever.. Please check out more of their songs, you will not be disappointed
Well I can't decide myself on them or Voiceplay... It is a little different but really good and underrated^^
i totally agree with this
Home Free is the best imho.
I think Pentatonix, Voiceplay and Home Free are all amazing, and should all be checked out. (Are there any other a capella groups out there worth checking out?)

I love to see someones very first time hearing them. They will leave you speechless everytime. No words for how talented they are.
Praise God for singers like this we need them in this crazy mixed-up world
Their instruments are their voices and bodies only. That’s what Acapella is.

I love The First Noel also. It's one of the few with Avi, bass singer, doing most of the lead, and it really shows his range.
Fellow Pentaholic here! I've been following them since they won The Sing Off back in 2011.
"some kind of singing group or something". I f'ing died knowing what you were in for! Thanks for that, it was great!
A voice that vibrates every molecule in your being to happiness through its perfection
You will never be disappointed by this group. This was the first one I heard from them and immediately fell in love. Been a Pentaholic ever since. Pentatonix
They won The Sing Off in 2011. They made a guest starring appearance on America′s Got Talent as non−competitors a couple of years after that.

Avriel "Avi" Kaplan (dark beard and long hair, true basso profundo, trained as an opera singer, also can go up into the tenor range;
Kevin "KO" Olusola (beatboxer extraordinaire, also is a world−class cellist who plays cello on some of their songs, has a beautiful high tenor voice and gets occasional lead vocal solos as well, graduated pre−med from Yale and speaks several languages including Mandarin Chinese).
Kirstie, Scott & Mitch grew up together in Arlington, Texas, and began performing together as children in local youth musical theater.
Thank you for 'filling in all the gaps'. I love their sound, but knew nothing about each individual - and thanks to you I now do 👏👏❤
@@jillosler9353 I should edit this text again to add their nomination for a 4th Grammy for their album Evergreen, Kirstie being a new mum which caused a pause in touring after their Evergreen Christmas tour 2021, and the star on the Hollywood walk of fame to be installed next year.
Counter tenor not contra tenor.
@@LisaMT1218 Either term is accepted. It means the same thing.
🎉🎉🎉 they have six Christmas albums and other albums too!!! Check out the Grinch by PTX! Your kids will enjoy it
Pentatonix is a 3 time Grammy award winning accapella group. They have been singing together for more than 10 years with only one member change. A I the bass singer left on good terms in 2017 and they added a new bass singer Matt. Check out more of their music. Also, they have been nominated for a fourth Grammy this year.
💖 **MITCH GRASSI, IS THE RAREST OF MALE VOICES, A COUNTER TENOR, & EXQUISITE TO OUR EARS** 💖
I have often been lost for words, when trying to describe Pentatonix's unique vocals & sound, & I still cannot express, or even come to terms, with what my ears are hearing, most times, but one thing I do know, is that, when I hear their voices, it always takes me to a place, that touches my heart, & can make me feel things, I didn't even know existed!!! To me, that is their gift, & what makes them, not only an amazing group, but incredible artists 💝 **THEY TRULY ARE A RARE GIFT** 💝
PTX has very loyal fans (Pentaholics) & they will subscribe & leave lots of comments if you play more of their vids.
I cannot wait for you to dive into the rabbit hole that is Pentatonix, it will be beyond your imagination worth the ride!
Welcome to Pentatonix. 5 of the most talented people you will ever see.
Absolutely! I agree with that comment!
I agree. We Pentaholics ( fans) will follow you. Please react to more. These are insanely talented
I’ll be posting more Pentatonix reactions soon and be picking up some of their Christmas albums for the holidays. Thank you!
@@dadwhatsfordinner they’re called ‘Pentatonix’.
@@tiffanytosh1569 whoops. I corrected it. Thanks!
Watch their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody….you’ll be amazed at what they can do with just their voices! They can imitate a full band.
Their Daft Punk Medley will blow your sox off.
Delightful! Thank you
Totally acapella! They sound just as good live ♥
Hmmm I think Can't Hold Us is also a super way to get to know each of the members. It showcases each member.
Pentatonix is the elite. Their music is not "covers" they are UPGRADES. No one does it better than Pentatonix.
Scott (the first singer) is a baritone, so he can take over for the bass, Avi (white Jesus), when he sings.
I subscribed for more Pentatonix. They are absolutely flawless.
Just wanted to recognize the writer of this great song that this group pays homage to. Rest in Peace Mr Lenard Cohen. Love you and miss you.
Amazing song. Rest In Peace Lenard Cohen.
Check out the prayer, Mary did you know, imagine, sound of silence, amazing grace
Sounds like an angel’s kiss
Please do more firsts with them they
will blow your mind
Yeah, they're really real. They've just been nominated for their 4th Grammy.
Great that you are playing this! It’s my inspiration song ! I listen to this when I am feeling I need to get closer to God.
Congratulations, you've just discovered the gold standard of modern a capella music: Pentatonix!!
The music is BEAT BOX
I love to see someone on their first reaction to Pentatonix. They are amazing! I will be back for more.
Isn’t it a blast to watch people’s first reaction to any Pentatonx song ? I find myself nodding along and waiting for “that face” when it clicks that it’s all voices and a stellar beat boxer.
5 part harmony in acapella is always awesome!!!! Great React Bro :) Peace.
He's a beat boxer...and one of the best ever.
Great reaction to an amazing group. Keep listening! 😊
Welcome to the wonderful world of Pentatonix, they’re BRILLIANT masters of a cappella. Subbed in the hope for more PTX, enjoyed your reaction ❤️🙌🙌
Pentatonix is the best a cappella group there is. Avi (bearded guy with beanie) was the bass, he's awesome. He has a great solo career now. Their new bass is good too.
For a reference ,listen to the origional by Lenard Cohen ( excellent also )
There is one other outstanding acappela group ,you get to find them .
Sheer Joy, THATS how to describe it!
You're not trippin'! Welcome to the wonderful world of PTX!
Enjoy.
First time watching a video from you. I have to say your voice is fantastic. Just a complement from a stranger.
Thanks for the kind words. I’ve been hearing that a lot lately. Maybe I should start a channel where I utilize it more as a focal point. IDK 🤷🏾♂️
Beautiful reaction to my favourite group. I subscribed hoping to hear more Pentatonix. Listen to them doing “ come all ye faithful “ try not to dance it’s amazing 🤩
Popspring 2016. Performed live, 3 originals and the evolution of Michael Jackson. Best version of the song Can't Sleep Love available.
I swear, Mitch's high notes always give me the chills.
They have 7 Christmas album and several of regular music. Prepare for the Pentaholics to flood your channel.
Thanks 😘
This group will put you in the best mood ever.
You're not tripping. They are simply THAT GOOD.
WARNING...
The Pentaholics will find you...
They are amazing and have a plethora of Christmas songs, covers and originals... they will bombard you, so I wont... but you'll get lots of followers... best of luck, I will sub as well to watch your journey.✌️❤️
This song is an experience. Amazing!
It truly is.
They definitely made this Leonard Cohen song their own. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I LOVE completely blind Pentatonix reactions. The best. Do more!
Have you heard Pentatonix sing "Mary, did you know?" Incredible...
Subbed for for PTX 🎉🎉❤❤ “Buckle-up, Buttercup!” You are in for a fantastic Ride!!

Cheers!

There's SO much more for you to enjoy, especially now at Christmastime. They have an extensive Christmas catalogue. Would love to hear your reaction to their arrangement of "O Come All Ye Faithful."
