As an observer from the States, I am saddened to hear of this young inventor's death, but I also must question the reaction. Grey water systems are nothing new, perhaps not yet introduced in SA but very common in the States. Since there is no info given on the young inventor's invention, I would question whether people are just jumping to conclusions about the facts of his death. This is how conspiracy theories work, and most often there is little truth within such. There was another "inventor" that was in the social media a while back, there in SA, a guy who had invented what could be described as a perpetual machine, touted by many, but in fact it could only be a ruse created by a very smart fellow bent on raising capital for whatever use. (fyi I am a retired electrical engineer and had a career of 50 years in facility design, so I speak with some authority, not just pure speculation.)

Another reason why, boarders need to be irradicated within and outside of the continent and provisions welcoming "The African Diaspora", should be more emphasized and done so, with of earnest. We should be working, in a collaborative manner, on all of the continents and other landmasses, where there is a m existence of Black People. Especially, those of us, whom reside in America. That can bring large somes of resources, to add more value to existing African Communities. Instead of superficially invitations, that end in very non-welcoming cases of incidents. We need each other...We share the same ancestry. No matter, how much time has elapsed or the distance, between the landmasses of our occupancy. We will do better, when "WE"do better, as a collective.

An inline water filter isn’t patentable anyway. It’s not an invention it’s merely an application of existing technology. You don’t need to kill somebody to steal that - anybody can do it.

As an observer from the States, I am saddened to hear of this young inventor's death, but I also must question the reaction. Grey water systems are nothing new, perhaps not yet introduced in SA but very common in the States. Since there is no info given on the young inventor's invention, I would question whether people are just jumping to conclusions about the facts of his death. This is how conspiracy theories work, and most often there is little truth within such. There was another "inventor" that was in the social media a while back, there in SA, a guy who had invented what could be described as a perpetual machine, touted by many, but in fact it could only be a ruse created by a very smart fellow bent on raising capital for whatever use. (fyi I am a retired electrical engineer and had a career of 50 years in facility design, so I speak with some authority, not just pure speculation.)
