The bots in RL are a joke for anyone past Gold.. Being able to go into a private match with a friends or 2 and play against these level bots would be so much fun.
The reason u can't is because of when Nexto went into ranked. They patched it but to avoid anything like it in the future they told bot creators not to publish bots

you say that but the literal living hell that ranked would be if everyone had access to these bots makes it obvious why they have to crack down so hard on it. it's a small price to pay so that 75% of your ranked games aren't either smurfs or bots

Psyonix them self would add some safe guards such as encrypting the bot just like they do with the game, modding the bot to know if a match is a private match or competitive. They might also even add something where you type in chat it will disable to the bot. They can also detect the bots just like they did with Nexto from play pattern. That is how they did the ban waves. If they added it in encrypted that would probably be enough just from that or they could just have the bot running separately like how ultrawideGC does it to where the players don't even need to have it downloaded to play against. That would be pretty easy since Psyonix owns there own servers. It isn't as hard as it seems, but whether they want to do it is a different story
The reason the bots change to your names is client sync in private matches. Also happens in Standard sometimes but never ranked. It happens usually until a goal or replay or when they go out of view and re-render ;) Not the most technical explanation but I'm sure you understand what I'm saying Also great video thanks
I don't think we should ever consider AI that literally read inputs a challenge worthy of anyone's time. They use their flip the instant you initiate a jump input meaning you can't challenge their flicks OR use flicks against them as it will just fly over you on their attack and get a 50/50 on your attack. No hate to UltrawideGC but I don't see the point in putting the work in to create AI that literally cheats. Input reading has been a notorious thing in gaming for decades now. Hate all the video titles like "The bots are as good as SSLs??" when they aren't, they just read inputs and positions down to the frame data and input data. Even if they aren't reading inputs they are basically playing the game frame by frame. It's like saying "This hacker is better than SSLs??" which nobody would ever take seriously.
And the thing is these bots only learn by playing each other over and over again. Imagine if they could learn by playing actual pros to learn behavioral patterns and different play styles. I bet they would get insanely good.
that's what they probably are doing while rentals and appjack play them, they started out by playing themselves only to learn the basics like hitting the ball or rotating so them learning from pros like now is extra knowledge for complex things like reacting to flip resets

When a tm8 says time they're telling you you have time with the ball before an opp challenges. Since the game moves so fast at this rank it's not always easy to tell what the challenging opp is doing when you start to possess the ball, but your tm8 usually has a wider viewing angle and can tell you. If they don't say time they'll usually say "rushing."
Wish rl could implement seer as a feature so we could all practice against it, its obviously still got flaws but thats like going (insert ssl/gc) has flaws.
The invisibility literally doesnt matter since the bots know the position of every car. I don’t think you can make them disconnect either since they are running on the server side

It feels like it gives me a unique perspective on learning rocket League that many would share if it were presented correctly. I've come up with a idea for a video that I feel you might appreciate. Asking nothing of it, just would like to share it with you. I feel like it will help base players in reality and might help guide them to focus on the basic things more heavily. I think it will humble gold-diamond players and help them realize they aren't as good as they are think they are. One sick play doesn't make them consistently capable, and consistently is the most important aspect of any skill. It's a couple training techniques I used to help humble myself. Me being the general player who doesn't play on PC and doesn't want to download and research a million training packs to get better. It's all done through everything the game hands you on day one. Doesn't even require internet connection. As basic as it comes but humbling to even diamond players Let me know if you're interested. ♥️
This reminds me of the battle between the Chess genius and IBM where they kept upgrading the chess bot until eventually bots surpassed man. That's whats happening in RL rn, it hasn't happened in any other ESport because Aim Bots are perfect. Very interesting stuff
My interpretation of occupied vs preoccupied revolves around the availability of the subject of the sentence. If you are wanting someone to do something but they are already doing something, I would say preoccupied. If I was just curious as to what someone was doing and not because I need them for anything, I would say occupied. I could be wrong tho

Pssyonx needs to buy the rights to these bots and hire the creators to implament them into custom games, to be able to play against a gc bot or champ or any ranks above yours without losing mmr to get better is a great advantage. And the novice, beginner unfair crap needs to be swapped with corresponding ranks to their abilities. So when you pick the bot difficulties its based off rank.
Leth played them recently too and mentioned they only preform their best at a specific framerate. Don't remember what it is. Not saying they can't destroy the bots, but if they find out they played with a handicap we get a rematch video right?
Looks like the bots "learned" and ditched their fake aerials approach that was prominent in previous matches. Makes them look worse though when they do not even do it every now and then to see/learn when it may work.

Since this is likely the case, the bot would have to wait for the number to be generated. Whether or not the number is generated right when the car is demoed or right as it is spawning, I can’t say for sure. If it is determined at the time of the demo and the bot has access to the programming, it could foreknow which side it will spawn on. Most likely though, the bot reacts instantly as it spawns, so it looks like a pre-move to us because we don’t have that quick of reactions.

Seer is obviously the better bot overall, but I think Nexto's ball control on the ground and flicks were way better

The respawn is really random to everyone so even the bots can't know where they will respawn, They do act very fast when they have respawned. 🤘🤘
