    I just really love how carefully you bring the coin into view (so we don’t see the grade), because I enjoy making my own grade determination before the final reveal 👏

    I'm not a huge fan of the Washington quarters but those are so clean I could make an exception. Especially the 1930s dates. Great video. We love the crack outs!

    You could have bought two copies of Detective Comics #27 and had a nickel left over with that '39-s 25c...and today you'd have $2-$8 million.

    14:08 I bet you $100 if it wasn't for that tone that would probably get at least a cameo designation. I can see the surface difference in a contrast is actually pretty astounding when you turn the coin. I think that is a diamond in the rough keep an eye on it Ben. I love that look of the 1879 Morgan dollar

    The 25 Peace was lovely. I think it was a 65 all day long. If it were a Morgan in that condition a grade of 65 would be a slam dunk.

    always entertaining to show the crackouts! btw, have you ever cracked out a coin with a CAC sticker? risk/reward! would be buying lottery tickets after that good outcome!

    First thing is I am seeing a ton of CACG coins coming back like that 79 s not sure what they are seeing thinking I almost think they were not sure of the mottled toning thinking it was questionable but I see coins like that all the time I think CACG has a bad habit of questioning coins unless they know the person sending the coin into them second you are very brave cracking a fatty with cac sticker then sending into PCGS wow I almost like the coin better in fatty

    Rhetorical question, as I move very slowly through Dayton, Ohio bumper to bumper Friday afternoon rush hour traffic, and Rhetorical because I don't really want to hear the answer is yes, but, is collecting coins or currency or anything else in the world a waste of money? It's money out of our pockets that unless we sell it for a profit in the future, the money is gone. Our families will sell it fir less than we paid for it just to cash it out for french fries and a coke.

    I am totally shocked at CACG grading results I have seen many many egregious coins come back with results that are like ok maybe then others that are like what how did they come up with that to the point where it seems intentional to let’s find anything to detail grade coin or just low ball grade to me it’s one thing to see coins graded strict like a ms65 looks like a 66 or 66+ even but some of the coins I have seen are way out there then I look on websites see others in there slab with high grade that does not look the grade it’s very questionable and for reasons first being they did not want my coins at first only there rich buddies so why you want my coins now I will pass rite onto NGC they have best looking slab to me anyway

    Hey guys, question for those who use a Jewelers loupe. I've always used a cheapo $10-$20 one, I'm in need of a replacement. Do any of y'all that have experience with cheap vs quality loupes..is there a noticeable difference? Hastings or ? ... thanks 👍

    • @7DocWho7
      @7DocWho7 2 месяца назад +1

      Clarity and overall fell in my experience is definitely better with the more expensive loupes.
      If you are willing to spend the money I’d recommend either a Eschenbach Achromat 3x 6x 9x or a Zeiss D36, which is also a 3,6,9x. The only real difference between them, in my opinion, is whether you prefer a dark or bright boarder around the lenses.
