BO1 it's just in another level, gun sounds, immersion with 2 factions per game,no fluorescent guns, maps..... I only would change the unlock or progression of the guns, but compared to what we have today is just incredible.
When I was a little kid some random man on xbox live offered to teach me how to get good at this game, so he told me to throw together a ghost Galil class with reflex and silencer. I named the class after him and never saw or heard from this guy again. Sir, if you’re out there, I hope you’re doing well these days.
My friends and I would troll the other team with RC cars - use hardline and SMGs to stockpile RC cars until the near end of the match. Then sit back and release them in the last ~3 minutes and see how many we could get to rage quit 😂
The free claymore on this game was actually really nutty. I’m glad they still have the Field Upgrades in MW3. Portable radar was the best in casual, so broken. But if the enemy was running that beef in a tournament I’d just pull out the camper.

The nostalgia is hitting pretty hard rn, i loved playing Black Ops 1 with my uncle on ps3 splitscreen. I'm thinking of getting the game again to play online with my girlfriend but i don't know if the pc servers are active like the xbox servers...
Damn I miss playing BO1 especially back on the good old PS3 days, I remember playing SND and I always use to love running supressor on the assault rifles especially with the Galil, it was soo good! 🙂✌️
Tactical mask is the BEST perk in this game because of the PRO, combined with flak jacket, its the best, it punishes people who don't mainly rely on bullets as a means to kill and you get soooooo many surprise kills from people who use tactical grenades trying to clears places.

I think I used Tactical mask pro but when I was going for the challenges, the most annoying one was the challenge for the Nova gas grenades! 😄 I also really liked the hacker pro perk as well, where you could surprise people and hack their claymores and care packages!
If I didn't know this video was recorded offline, I'd swear it was a clip from one of your streams where you were being followed by people with all the flashbangs constantly filling your screen. Great comeback despite the minutes of being flashed.
This was my first real CoD game and probably still my favorite one. Try playing this on Steam sometime you should still be able to get server support for it, won't have to worry about host migration. Same for CoD4 OG.
You should do 1 HR videos with little editing of specific guns from each game. Would be something a lil different and people like me who like to fall asleep to RUclips could easily see myself listening to something like that before bed
In hindsight, BO1 felt so different from any other COD before or since. WaW was the classic WWII COD formula, perfected, MW2 was MW on steroids and just hilariously overpowered fun... BO1 was just different. The game play, the guns, the sound effects and music. Something about it just felt almost theatrical. It was modern and old school at the same time.
