It’s a great pedal for what it does. I bought a version 1 brand new when it came out for $120. It’s pretty insane what people are asking for them on Reverb.
I have the FOD which is basically the same pedal. There are 2 internal trim pots for the 1st amps (blend all the way left) gain and level. Mine came from factory with the gain almost completely turned off. I would bet that’s your same problem. Just take the backplate off and turn up the gain.
No problem. That’s my only complaint about the pedal. I hate internal trim pots. I wish they could have designed it to have all the knobs on top. The gain knob on top only controls the gain for the 2nd more midscooped amp.
@@igetmycalcium so, i Turn the gain to the highest. Its defenently more distored but still Not that heavy Like it is in Dookie. To that everybody says that the Pedal has No humming but mine Pedal some humming. I payd 199$ for that.
Are you going to buy one of these re-issue pedals?
I got my son the one with the unicorn vomiting a rainbow on it for his first pedal, now he uses a Boss Metal Zone that I got him.
Those are two very different kinds of pedals hahaha rad gift tho!
I just got mine and I couldn't be happier! I am a pop punk fan so this little guy works perfectly.
