Ah yes Ateez. Masters of creating unique moods I didn't even know I needed in my life. I really like the retro-yet-innovative sound of Cyberpunk and Take Me Home. I have high hopes that some of the tracks on the new album coming out later this month will capture that same vibe. Some of the teasers for the tracks give me a kind of dark ELO vibe.

There was a performance of Take Me Home they did in a truck driving around (simulated), but I love the one they did for their first American tour of 2022 best.
Looking at the lyrics, both Take Me Home and Cyberpunk is talking about the same "dark place/grey city" and that they wanted to escape from it. Kinda like how the HALAZIA MV world looks like. It is connected to their lore. some lyric videos really like to mix up Wooyoung and San's parts i've noticed lmao (in the bridge both "With warm eyes I wanna melt your soul" and "Go back to the place in time" is San singing). Another example is in Mist, San is the one who starts the song off and Wooyoung does the first part of the chorus but some lyric videos mix them up lol (highly recommend Mist btw, it's beautiful!). But anyways I love this song sm, idk if i like cyberpunk or this one more, usually i lean more toward take me home but then i listen to cyberpunk and suddenly i'm unsure again hahah welp. One thing's for sure: ateez knows how to make good music!
