Raping one person one single time should land you in prison for life, at a minimum. That is not a crime you commit unless you have the capacity to horrifically harm someone intentionally. It is so difficult to understand what an ugly and terrible thing it is unless you’ve experienced it, and it in absolutely no way deserves any amount of sympathy. They feel bad that his daughter has to grow up without him. Sure, but I feel even worse for her having to know that her father is a rapist and hurt several other women (that we know of) in one of the worst ways possible. The worst part is that Ashton and Mila don’t even deny believing that he did it.
I'd be all for this if we could know if someone was innocent or guilty instantly cause someone getting wrongfully convicted for life for something he/she didn't do would be terrible.
Not meaning to sound dramatic, but as a rape victim, I simply don’t give a fuck if his daughter never gets to see him again. And to be quite honest, why are they going so hard for somebody who raped two women to raise a young woman anyway. It doesn’t make any fucking sense.

so Ashton and Mila didn’t intend to “undermine the testimonies of the victims” but they’ll send character letters that claim he isn’t a threat to ongoing society? that directly contradicts what the victims have been saying this entire time!
To me, the most OUTRAGEOUS part of all of this is that last month I LITERALLY saw Mila Kunis playing a rape victim. Her performance was awesome but GURL... Did you forget the plot of the movie you just did? And both mentioning the drugs and him being drug free, when the use of drugs to abuse the victims was a KEY part to the case. They implied: ¨how could this man be capable of drugging this ladies when he doesn´t use them¨ LIKE??? Saying they would leave their children alone with him? be for real..
I know right? I had the same reaction when I saw Elizabeth Moss play that woman in the handmaids tail - it's like, do yall critically think at ALL when you take on these roles? Lmao
There's a talk show interview in which Ashton and Mila bring up a story of Danny and Ashton having a dare (or some kind of bet) involving Ashton - then twenty- sticking his tongue down Mila's throat during an onscreen kiss in the first season of That '70s Show. She was only fourteen. Their former castmate Wilmer Valderrama has a history of going after very young women, when they're barely legal or even still minors early on. Lot of weirdness.
Are we really surprised that they more he "Aston" stuck up for this guy. He was like in his 20s while Mila was 14 and now y'all together. It's like he prayed on her...
@@jaymaraodemns2196they didn’t date when she was 14. They dated way way later and he was married for a while to an older woman. The man is definitely questionable but he did not prey on her at that time.

They rly said his daughter been raised without a father is bad ARE YOU KIDDING ME? no sex offender should take care of no fking children period thats so gross
Just because someone has been a good friend to you doesn't mean they aren't capable of committing crimes and treating other horrifically, even if just for a moment. Predators don't move like cartoon super villains.
This is the worst apology ever. Mila sounds like she's reading a hostage statement, what a terrible "actress." At least Ashton's sounds less rehearsed, though it still boils down to "I defend all victims of sexual violence, unless they're assaulted by my friend and then won't somebody PLEASE think about the real victims- perpetrators of sexual assault?!" 😵💫
I think it's more like hinting she probably didn't want to take part in the letter, like cmon, she's a good actress and could have faked that, and she just looks pissed at Ashton, Ashton just looks like he has to sell that he's sincere cause its most likely his idea
And I will tell u how it can go. Either he will manipulate and pretend he has changed and understood his awful mistake so they will remove years OR he will pay money and he will serve only 10 years.
When are people going to realize that any celebrity who has achieved “elite” status has done something shady or moves with shady people? How do you think they get to their level of insane wealth and power, as an entertainer no less? Hollywood doesn’t truly operate on talent because it’s transactional; what are you willing to do to be famous?
The way that you have the audacity to claim that all celebrities are disgusting just because they become ridiculously rich and famous, a lot of them work their ass off to be where they are but maybe you just don't know what being a hard worker means.
@@LalaDepala00 ok but the original comment is kind of unhinged. It gives off Qanon vibes. I think people underestimate the power of Scientology. You'll be shocked if you read how Katie Holmes had to sneak around to get a divorce from Tom Cruise and get custody of her daughter. I think Scientology has some dirt about Ashton-Mila and blackmailed them to do this.
Part of me understands this because, particularly for Mila, she grew up and spent very formative years with Danny on T7S and I can see how they would view him as a brother. But they really should have known that all court documents are public access. It’s disappointing that they would choose to support Masterson, who scandal has surrounded for decades, over confirmed victims. I think if they were still unsure of his guilt, it would be understandable, but writing those letters KNOWING that Danny was guilty? That’s hard to explain.
Maybe yeah they didn’t believe that the person they worked so many years with and probably hang out later on…is an awful person. That’s why supported him I don’t think they are that hypocrites to support a man like that

Also I’ve been side-eying Ashton since he said that he stuck his tongue down a then 14 Mila kunis for their first kiss. Especially knowing that he knew she was 14 and he was 20 plus , it just felt weird knowing he’s admit that and seeing old interviews from the set of Mila being underaged and Ashton letting her sit on his lap and holding her. The way Hollywood treats kids is just plain NASTY idc
His daughter would be traumatized knowing that his father ASSAULTED people. His victims have to live with that for the rest of their lives. Like did they NOT think about this???!! And just because you have a positive relationship with someone DOESN'T MEAN THEY'RE INCAPABLE OF HARMING OTHERS. Like this is an obvious logic. Yikes...DISGUSTING. I'm so tired of all these abusers in power who keep getting support from fans and celebrities alike and getting away scotch free.
They say that the only one in the group that Topher is really friends with is Laura Prepon, and that makes a ALOT of sense. If you watch the dynamic between Ashton, Danny, and Wilmer they seem like that one clique in high school that were as tight as a cult.
Not to mention how are we supposed to believe Ashton doesn't support predators, when he met Mila when she was 14 and he pursued her when she was 17... Their whole relationship is weird..
Yes it can. Especially if a lot of people write it . And people of good influence and character. Like another judge. Or politian. Or pastor. A old teacher. Ext..
I mean for those of us who grew up on the 70s show this is hardly surprising. Materson was always a creep,, along with Aston, and certainly demi Moore Hollywood is filled with creeps like this. Glad to see them all circling the drain😂.
I can't imagine someone telling me that someone I've known for 20 years is a serial rapist, and me being like...well I'll ask for a lesser sentence because he was nice to ME. I'd be beyond shocked and devastated that someone I know was a monster and I hadn't known to stop it! I do believe prison isn't the answer, but a letter to the judge could have been written SO much more thoughtfully.
Mila acts like she had a chip on her shoulder having to give the so called apology. Shes biting her lips, glaring and speaking in a "how dare you" tone.
My guess is they see Danny as more than just a friend and former co-star to vouch for him like this. That’s the only way it adds up. People do stupid things to stick the necks out for people they care about all the time. It doesn’t make any of this right either, but backlash is indicative of the pedestal we place the hollywood elite on at times, and unrealistic expectations we have of otherwise average people who have little to risk in the stage of their careers for their mediocrity.
Also something literally my dad said is maybe danny has some dirty secrets on them that they decide to write these letters because i think they wouldn't have otherwise
LOL, yes it is an injustice that she's gonna be growing up without a father, and he's responsible for it. He committed the crimes, he abandoned his daughter (on top of destroying two other girls lives). Also, since when is not using drugs some kind of heroic accomplishment?
Russel Brand is also getting accusations. Is it guilty until proven innocent. Or is it innocent until proven guilty ?! It’s a tricky subject. Andrew Tate was another guy who was also accused. There’s some shady things behind closed doors
Bear in mind, Ashton knows victim 1 and 3. I think it’s one of 2 things. Either they can’t separate the person from the crime or that they genuinely think he did not do it and are trying to save face Also I can’t stand the drug free part of the letters. A part of his attacks were that he drugged them and just because he tells you not to do drugs doesn’t mean behind closed doors he isn’t drug free. Plus his dj name was dj donkey punch and he also bet Ashton $10 to French mila when she was 14 during season 1 of 70s show and mila had never been kissed
I'm in my 30s, I've seen this kind of celebrity apologising too many times before. All I'll say to anyone younger than me watching this vid is, don't idolise your idols. Don't put your entire trust in celebrities. And that no one person is ever fully responsible - there are a lot of people who know and knew, but who don't say anything 🙄🤫
They know they’re getting cancelled now, so now they’re apologizing on a video. The only reason they put out that stupid video is because the letter was made public. They couldn’t care less about the victims.
Wow. I didn't know what this was all about until now. I'm sorry but I could never vouch for someone who is accused of such a thing... plenty of people who do these horrible things can have two sides to them.

@@Protegida4 really you think so? I thought it was worded so poorly. To me one of the most important parts of an apology is saying what you actually did because it validated the other person. They used such passive language. "Harm was caused" "If that happened" It just comes across like sugarcoating and being disingenuous. Yeah sure some ppl are gonna write you off no matter what. That's just life, but I think it does matter how good/bad your apology is.
@@Protegida4 people would be still be mad regardless (imo what they did isn't forgivable) but if they showed real remorse and empathy towards the victims, the apology would be taken differently. what stuck out to me the most is that they said nothing that indicated that they believe and support the victims of their co star.
@@t_ylrAll apologies vidéos are useless tbh. Whatever they might have said, the public would have hated it regardless. They are only sorry the letter got published for the world to see.
so Ashton and Mila didn’t intend to “undermine the testimonies of the victims” but they’ll send character letters that claim he isn’t a threat to ongoing society? that directly contradicts what the victims have been saying this entire time!

AND Ashton Kutcher is the founder of an app that combats him trafficking.. like whaaat??? How can they even defend him👀👀

Disgusting..
I remember in a interview Mila said that everything was fine and no one even touched her. I think they are hiding more that what got to be exposed
Ashton also said that the chick he’s waiting and everyone else is waiting to turn 18 is Hillary duff, she was only 15yrs old when he said that about her
As a sexual assault survivor myself, they should’ve just say there and stfu.

Just because someone has been a good friend to you doesn't mean they aren't capable of committing crimes and treating other horrifically, even if just for a moment. Predators don't move like cartoon super villains.
This reeks of they owe him. No one does something like this, unless he has something on Ashton😂
Hmmmm 🤔 I never thought about this angle... food for thought 🤔🤔
could be....I won't be surprised
I won’t be suprised if he has something for Ashton and because Mila loves him and they have children together. She has to support him
Oh snap fr!
One of the victims posted a story saying that she has dirt on Danny and even Ashton. You can look it up
This is the worst apology ever.
Thankfully the judge didn’t take any notice of those character references and sentenced Danny Masterson to 30 years to life in prison.
The way that you have the audacity to claim that all celebrities are disgusting just because they become ridiculously rich and famous, a lot of them work their ass off to be where they are but maybe you just don't know what being a hard worker means.

this situation is a textbook example of cognitive dissonance but in the most disgusting way possible
That’s why supported him I don’t think they are that hypocrites to support a man like that
it’s almost worst that they thought these would be private , they thought they could defend a rap*st and get away with it. it’s sick.

She would’ve been his next victim, rapists usually start at home so with that logic she’s better off.
Disgusting and baffling, they know what he did but they simply don't care
For professional actors, they can’t even act like they care.
It says a lot that Topher Grace stayed out of it….like avoided everything to with him like a plague.
Same for the actor who played Fez.
ummm Wilmer is also a creep.
They say that the only one in the group that Topher is really friends with is Laura Prepon, and that makes a ALOT of sense. If you watch the dynamic between Ashton, Danny, and Wilmer they seem like that one clique in high school that were as tight as a cult.
Mila's demeanor is so bitchy and defensive in the apology video, how is that an apology?
Not to mention how are we supposed to believe Ashton doesn't support predators, when he met Mila when she was 14 and he pursued her when she was 17... Their whole relationship is weird..
Their "apology" video was so laughable
This may be a dumb question: but has writing a letter to a judge ever changed or influence their decision?
Maybe for a non-violent crime or if the person was a minor?
Usually it makes a difference in the length of sentence, but not the actual sentence of guilt. So 💯 % shitty behaviour on both their part!!
@@MoxyVerve Lmaoo, I read this at first as if you’re saying if they write a longer sentence in the letter, that’ll help out.

Matterson was convicted, this is purely for a shorter sentence
For Russel Brand we’ll have to wait and see what will come out. If I’m not mistaken there are about 10 accusers currently
Bear in mind, Ashton knows victim 1 and 3. I think it’s one of 2 things. Either they can’t separate the person from the crime or that they genuinely think he did not do it and are trying to save face
Also I can’t stand the drug free part of the letters.
They honestly don't think he is guilty.

They aren’t sorry for offending people. They’re only sorry they got called out.
They had no idea the letters would be made public. They definitely could have declined the request to write them.
