What is an UnUn? Ham Radio Antennas on Coffee and Ham Radios

I could be wrong but I would think that the un-un introduces inductance at some frequencies. This would cause the current to lag the voltage zapping your real power in the antenna. The capacitor is there to counter act (current leads voltage) and that extends the useful frequency of the un-un???
