- As demonstrations turned violent in Atlanta, Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms delivered an impassioned speech urging protesters to go home Friday night.
Bottoms was joined by Atlanta entertainers Killer Mike, whose real name is Mike Render, and T.I., whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris, as well as Bernice King and Civil Rights leader Dr. Joe Beasley.

I live in Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, and I could not be more proud of Mayor Bottoms. The Police Chief, Police department, GBI, and National Guard. Atlanta is a great city with great people, it's very sad some people come here and caused tremendous damage.

In fact UNDER Georgia's laws, if they were not lawful for that arrest, they committed a felony as they had no right to detain him.
