Check the problem#9 of H C Verma book, where he has done the similar problem, using mass m1, m2, m3, and you use the mass as 3M, M and 2M. There is a relative motion , between the moving pulley, and moving block, so there by your pulley trick, I didn't get the answer. And later I check DC Pandey book also, problem # 26, in Level-1, subjective question part, I couldn't get the answer by your trick. Please clarify me sir.

Sir is the acceleration that we are calculating in pulley problems, the instantaneous acceleration due to which the body gains velocity , or is that acceleration constant and continues to be applied in the bodies from the beginning of hanging let's say two masses on 1 pulley , till reaching equilibrium?

In some problem you consider only those tension which hv mass on other end while in some problem also conser tension which are due to strings on other end of the pulley. My point is you didn't provide universal rule which defines that which tension we hv to consider mad which one not?

When we take T as the tension of mass 2m and T/2 that of mass m in 4th problem in this video we get the value of tension as 2mg but if we solve that with this eqn we get tension as mg . Why?

Dont go by this trick. For complex pulley it is giving wrong answer. See similar example in H C Verma book...where there is a internal motion in pulley. This you can not solve by this trick.

@Siddu Patil I guess the mass of the block is not responsible for the motion so the net force that is acting is T=ma

At 12:03 isn't the second pulley from the left unbalanced? Since it is massless, it's acceleration should be infinite or Tension be equal to zero?

Here we friction force is considered by other force and balance it with newton's law
