I did what chantel did, my husband is from Jamaica , my friends and my family never trusted him and told me he didn’t love me and he was in it for a greencard . I chose to believe my husband and that he loves me and wouldn’t use me . We have been married for 6 years I had my daughter 3 years into the marriage . I worked two jobs , co-signed his first car , filled out every application for him , did his resume . He ended up getting a great job where he was making almost 30hr that I filled out for him , he started acting weird to me , always picking fights .I asked him to take me on dates and to do family stuff with us and he would always have an excuse. It was like he got everything he wanted and didn’t need me any more ….. I put a tracker on his car and caught him at the movies with another woman , he saw me and him and her ran to the car and sped off on meeeeeeeeee. I chased them a while but I had the tracker so I let them go , he tried to take her to two hotels but I guess it didn’t work so he took her home . He came home angrily saying I’m embarrassing and it was a childhood friend . 😂 I told him to leave he chose not to and to abuse me which he did majority of the marriage . I got a restraining order which he violated trying to get me to go to his 2 year green card interview . I refused and told him to take the woman he took to the movies to it . I put him on child support , wrote a letter to immigration that he used me and attached pictures of his abuse to me and he even shot at me , gave them all that!!! Chantelle is way too nice , I put my all in you and loved you from my heart , I ignored the red flags and what people said , for you to embarrass me and play me ??? He has to pay !! Right now the DA Is charging him for violating the PFA , they offered him a deal which he refused and now they are adding more charges which makes it a deportable offense …. So I couldn’t wait for karma, when he was locked up for violating the PFA , the car I co-signed for was at a different girls house I tried to get the keys to no avail so I vandalized it and he lost the job I helped him get and owes back child support 😂😂😂 your gonna Learn today sir

I was replying to someone this morning and it just dawned on me … Pedro and Chantel should have read “The 5 Love Languages” bc maybe “acts of love” is Pedro’s love language which is why he did the cooking and cleaning at first. That was his way of showing love and when she wasn’t doing it while he worked longer hours, he didn’t feel that love in return. Her love language was probably “quality time” and when he stopped spending time with her, she felt he no longer loved her and felt he was cheating. I feel he just started to resent her which is why he didn’t spend time with her. I do wish he would have agreed to counseling though.

Seeing that they were only married for 7 years, Chantel could've been responsible for supporting him financially for 3 more years by law if Pedro chose to do so. I don't think he chose it because it wasn't mentioned. Chantel and Pedro had communication issues of their expectations of one another. They didn't set an outline of how they wanted their future to be especially after both gaining their own careers and a home together.

I disagree with most people on this. I see Chantel as a daughter who could never put her foot down with an over involved mom. How Pedro took 7 years of that is shocking! What if she wanted to spend time with her family, Pedro came on the vacation with his dysfunctional family and caused drama? Even when she asked him not too? Really think about that! Chantal is also a victim to her families narcissism and twisted advice. If she disconnected from them and dealth with her relationship without involving them, they would have been fine. Pedro is more mentally stable, because he got away from his narcissistic family, he makes alot of sense, Chantal was and is stuck. Chantal regurgitates what her family feed her. I did what chantel did, my husband is from Jamaica , my friends and my family never trusted him and told me he didn’t love me and he was in it for a greencard . I chose to believe my husband and that he loves me and wouldn’t use me . We have been married for 6 years I had my daughter 3 years into the marriage . I worked two jobs , co-signed his first car , filled out every application for him , did his resume . He ended up getting a great job where he was making almost 30hr that I filled out for him , he started acting weird to me , always picking fights .I asked him to take me on dates and to do family stuff with us and he would always have an excuse. It was like he got everything he wanted and didn’t need me any more ….. I put a tracker on his car and caught him at the movies with another woman , he saw me and him and her ran to the car and sped off on meeeeeeeeee. I chased them a while but I had the tracker so I let them go , he tried to take her to two hotels but I guess it didn’t work so he took her home .
He came home angrily saying I’m embarrassing and it was a childhood friend . 😂 I told him to leave he chose not to and to abuse me which he did majority of the marriage . I got a restraining order which he violated trying to get me to go to his 2 year green card interview . I refused and told him to take the woman he took to the movies to it .
I put him on child support , wrote a letter to immigration that he used me and attached pictures of his abuse to me and he even shot at me , gave them all that!!!

I was replying to someone this morning and it just dawned on me … Pedro and Chantel should have read “The 5 Love Languages” bc maybe “acts of love” is Pedro’s love language which is why he did the cooking and cleaning at first. That was his way of showing love and when she wasn’t doing it while he worked longer hours, he didn’t feel that love in return. Her love language was probably “quality time” and when he stopped spending time with her, she felt he no longer loved her and felt he was cheating. I feel he just started to resent her which is why he didn’t spend time with her. I do wish he would have agreed to counseling though.

Seeing that they were only married for 7 years, Chantel could've been responsible for supporting him financially for 3 more years by law if Pedro chose to do so.
