  • Hello,
    In this video I discuss and show the BST Carbon Fiber Wheels (Twin Tek Model) after riding on them for 3,000 miles. They are installed on my Harley Davidson 2022 Road Glide Special in Redline Red with the Screamin Eagle 131 Stage 4 Kit.
    Enjoy the video!

      Hello! Thanks for commenting! That’s unfortunate for Josh. I’ll be making a video soon but I now have 20k on them and I haven’t had any issues.

    Did you do a balancing beads or weights for these wheels and tires?

    • @2147crew
      @2147crew  Год назад

      Weights my friend. The balancing beads aren’t good for the carbon fiber. They wear out the CF rims.

    I'm curious to see how they hold up after putting 50K miles on them. Only because I want to see if they can take the abuse of riding on the street...rocks. I've heard they are good for the track, but only cool for bike nights on the street.
    You can't be having these carbon fiber pieces, inner painted fairing, AdVan Black headlight and rolling around dirty. Show that thing some love.

      Same here brother! I’ll see how they hold up on the way to and from Sturgis. And your absolutely right brother! I’m washing it first thing tomorrow. Deep clean. Lol I’m just having too much fun on the roads in H-town.

      Most recently a zx14 with 120 000kms had its BST wheels scanned by the manufacturer.
      Both wheels were certified for the next 7 years before its next scan date.
      My BST's are due for their scan next yea lr with no issues.

    Question….. does the bike feel lighter with those wheels……. I heard that the lighter wheel weight translates to a much lighter feel

      Bst owner here - 2017 Dot date code on mine. Still going strong.
      The manufacturer is tracking wheels from 2003 dot code for road use, still going strong. Easily over 30 000 miles on those wheels guaranteed.

      It has carbon wheels fitted as well. I'm not worried for a second at all.
