(please read carefully i said maddie was ONE of the strongest dancers) (some of you guys are getting confused: i never said maddie was the strongest emotionally or mentally i said “maddie is one of the strongest dancers” meaning she was strong in her dancing.) (my views have changed ab the Melissa one to! We don’t know behind the scenes so my mistake)
mellisa was the unfair mom she treated everyone but mackenzie with joy and happiness but it was in,y for the show she had a good impact on maddie but never mackenzie
ive always hated when people called maddie a brat. like you can see all through the seasons that she would be backstage supporting the other girls and would give them hugs when they finished their solos. maddie also was happy whenever another girl got first on their solo. not only that, but she was one of the only people that didn’t mock jojo. maddie was just worn down by abby and melissa to keep this image of perfection and to always stay on top of the pyramid, mostly due to the fact that she was the favorite of abby (and even melissa at some points, like she would show way more affection to maddie and would put maddie’s needs over mackenzie, like that one story i once heard about how melissa would pull maddie out of school during the middle of the day, being her to rehearsal, bring her back before the school day ended, then ‘pick up’ maddie and mackenzie from school as if nothing happened)
The only problem I had with Maddie was when MacKenzie beat her and the way Maddie acted about that..and Melissa. Now I am sure the cameras most likely manipulated the entire situation but from what cameras showed us Maddie & especially Melissa didn't give MacKenzie the congratulations & props she should have been given for coming in 1st. My biggest problem with Melissa as a mom was she never had the faith & confidence in MacKenzie like she did Maddie and she showed it in front of the entire world to see.

And the moms wouldn't let it go until she said she thought Maddie should've won. As far as Maddie goes, when McKenzie is first announced as the winner, she looks absolutely delighted and proud and hugs her on stage. It wasn't until they got back stage and Abby kept throwing it in her face that she starts to shut down. But recently, Maddie did say she regrets not being happier for her win, but because she had so much pressure and expectation to be #1, it made her react sort of negatively. And if you watch that scene, Maddie gets angry because Melissa kept whispering to her to be happy when she was literally doing nothing.
It’s so true about Kendall, but I believe in Melissa’s q&a video with Paige she said something along the lines saying “we never realized it was panic attacks until today” so I feel so bad for how they were treated but they also never realized it was panic attacks till now
This is why ALL parents and children should learn more about mental health … they clearly didn’t conceptualize many cathartic & long term emotional situations.
christi was such an icon, she would always step in for her and her daughters rights and when mothers had arguments with abby or weren't there for them for some dumb reason you can see her in the background taking care of them or escorting them out of the room to minimize the impact on the girls. she always put the childrens needs before hers and this just makes her a great person overall
Fun fact: Everyone says Maddie is mean and is a brat but she was one of the only people who wasn’t rude to Jojo and she and Nia were the only ones who didn’t mock Jojo when all the others girls did on stage at the meeting greet !

For my opinion, I think Melissa was absolutely lovey. Before/after her solos she would always say yes Kenz! And she was crying when Kenz won, it was just all the producers making her like that, even on her Chanel Mackenzie said that her mum was her biggest supporter and that Melissa hated pretending to be friends w Abby.
This is my opinion! In the beginning seasons, Nia was not anywhere near the skill and emotion that the other girls are. But she worked and worked and she got up to there, and past them

All the dance moms girls had something to say after the show when they were done fliming. Maddie said she didnt talk to abby for a while due to all the complitcations. Chloe was kinda angry because she felt bad she had sinus. Something syndrome and that means one of her eyes are really low and she talked about in a video during the dance mom seasons that she had to get surgery.
I still like Melissa but I do think it was unfair. Also about how much attention she showed Maddie compared to McKenzie. It’s way different now. They have a very good healthy relationship. Also when the season continued, she started giving McKenzie more attention. Also, it could be fake because it’s just reality TV. They probably only showed Melissa giving attention to Maddie.

@@averyiscool711 no not really, remember that abby doesn't like chloe, she did set her up to fail, chloe just won the times she did and abby said it in season 8 "I never wanted Chloe to win but she won all the time". Her intentions were rarely ever pure when she got a solo especially against Maddie, such as when she gave chloe hipop and Maddie lyrical.
@@Elise490 It was, Abby sabotages any kid going against Maddie, yk how when abby gives a kid a "Maddie solo" it's always seen as a good thing? because Abby gives maddie choreo designed to win. sometimes abby gives them a chance but not as much as how she waters down their choreography.

I agree with everything but I think Chloe was the strongest. Abby just didn’t give her as much as tension as she did Maddie.

I don’t think Christie had the right to be angry all the time. Most of the time Christie got mad because she was jealous of Maddie’s ability and obviously compared her daughter to Maddie (more than Abby). Christie was over dramatic and got mad too easily.

For my opinion, I think Melissa was absolutely lovey. Before/after her solos she would always say yes Kenz! And she was crying when Kenz won, it was just all the producers making her like that, even on her Chanel Mackenzie said that her mum was her biggest supporter and that Melissa hated pretending to be friends w Abby.

Holly: she was the most responsible adult on that show

Cathy: she was jealous of Abby and acted like a middle school girl
Jill: Jill bought Kendall’s talent on the show (with the gifts)
Nia: Abby stereo typed nia and never saw the potential in her
Brooke: Abby doesn’t realize that brooke stopped caring for dance because Maddie replaced her and no matter how hard she tried Maddie would still be the replacement
Paige: Paige was an amazing dancer but she was just really skinny and tall so it was hard to control her legs and arms.
Maddie: Maddie was the favorite for a reason
Mackenzie: Melissa and Abby had NO right to compare her to Maddie and give her immature solos unlike what Maddie got

All the dance moms girls had something to say after the show when they were done fliming. Maddie said she didnt talk to abby for a while due to all the complitcations.
Chloe was kinda angry because she felt bad she had sinus. Something syndrome and that means one of her eyes are really low and she talked about in a video during the dance mom seasons that she had to get surgery.

I still like Melissa but I do think it was unfair. Also about how much attention she showed Maddie compared to McKenzie. It’s way different now. They have a very good healthy relationship. Also when the season continued, she started giving McKenzie more attention. Also, it could be fake because it’s just reality TV. They probably only showed Melissa giving attention to Maddie.

I agree with all of them but the Jojo one, she literally said when she first was introduced to the girls “can I replace Chloe?” “Can I replace everyone” (something along the lines of that) and Nia deserved that solo she works so hard, but Jojo, who just joined, got the solo instead. Jojo’s also just annoying in my opinion 😅
