These tasks for the quests on Sims Freeplay are RIDICULOUSLY LONG! I can't even get the prize, a dragon, because I don't have enough lifestyle points. This isn't fair!
EA expects you to devote your entire life to the Sims Freeplay. They should make required quests like discovery quests where you can wait before you start it. I'm still in school, and I don't have a whole bunch of freetime to play this game. I like to play it, but I have other things to do.
+Scarlet Azriel -- The 7 day time limit for the hobbies starts as soon as they are unlocked, as soon as you finish whatever came before it, so you definitely have to get started right away. I don't believe you need to finish the hobbies for the Saved by the Spell Quest, but I won't know for sure until it arrives. However, I do believe you should be able to choose to start the Saved by the Spell Quest just like this one, so you should have time. Yes, you can use a neighbor's town to work on the hobbies -- we forgot that!

Sometimes the whole "Let's Play for RUclips" thing can feel unnatural, for instance when we're recording with the intention of having the final video look and sound a certain way, but we try to really properly play these quests so it will hopefully feel like you guys can naturally play along with us. It seems to work for some viewers, anyway! :) As for our posting times, we live on the US East Coast so for that time zone: on weekdays we normally post in the afternoons around 2 or 3 pm, and on weekends we normally post in the morning around 9 am.

I need help on the book of spells. The game doesn’t let me continue that quest and I don’t know why. How do you continue? Because I try to click in the tower to finish the part where I need to open the book shelf door to get the wand. And the game doesn’t let me enter the tower . It just takes me to the store menu where why buy the crystal ball and all that . Do you think you can help me ?
I don't know if this idea sounds fun to you, but maybe it would be cool if you made a tiny house community in one of your lots (inspired from the tiny houses of Portland, Oregon). It could possibly be very cool to make each tiny house with its own personality and quirks. Some could be two story :D also, Ive only been subscribed for a few weeks. Sorry if intrusive but I was curious, are you two friends/a couple? And how did you find out about your common interest in sims/making videos? Fyi When doing broomstick hobby don't click on your sim unless you have a strong stomach :) .03 seconds for me to get dizzy (dizzier, more dizzy, no! Not ditzy!) Then queasy etc....I just did this quest.I find it interesting how doing quests can change the dynamics of relationships and personalities (they're subtle but there, for me)
I have a funny story. The only limited time item I've missed so far is that broom, so I didn´t know about that absurd cost or it's function, so thank you very much for this video. The reason I missed it was because I upgraded to an iPhone 6 in the middle of the broomstick flying quest and the cloud re-rolled my progress by 3 days!!! Given how brutal it was, I just gave up since I was at level 4 with one day left. I could have blown a ton of LP's but I didn't know you could roll the dice thing without having reached the higher hobby levels, so bummer...

Plus, I forgot to mention but I'm pretty sure they only clean one floor, so they're useless to other floors if you have a multi-story property. But anyway, I'm of the opinion that if you work hard to win a limited time prize, then at the very least the first one you get should be free. :-/ But the game developers do their own thing.

Couple of questions, the spell casting hobby and the broomstick hobby does the 7 day time limit start right after you finish the quest and unlock the next hobby or do you have to buy the podium first then it starts? Also do you need to have finished both theses hobby to do the saved by the spell quest? Can you go to a neighbouring town and use their podium to have 2 sims doing the hobby as to finish it faster?

i was able to get the fantacy cleaning mop, but this game is very cruel in not letting it to rest for 1 hour or untill a sim does a crap on the floor it just constantly gets out of its bucket every 5 seconds, please give broom more time to rest

So according to my math, all the tasks added together total up to about 5 days 2 hours 17 minutes and 9 seconds. 2 days to spare, right? Well, during those seven days you will need maybe like 42 hours of sleep? So you're left with 6 hours, yes? What about school? A single day of school is 7 hours and 30 minutes. Of course, you don't have to be on the game for a total of 5 days. . . So. . . This whole thing is pointless. . . I'm just gonna go now. . . Ignore that you ever saw this, EA I'm sorry for doubting your logic. . . Please forgive me! xD

I finished the whole quest and got the dragon without life points you just have to make sure you’re there to put your sim to the next action
