Hello, A few notes after putting a little bit over 3240 km during my first week with the Zeekr 001 with a bunch of fast charging. Your car has not pre heated the battery, why? - You need to use the built in navigator and navigate to the intended fast charger. - Your car had less then 20% when you started driving. (Meaning, your 17% led to the car being unable to preheat even if you would have navigated.) Two alternatives occured for your car here as it started lower, and raised quickly to 170 kW: 1. The Tesla charger limited the speed. Avoid this by using a unused charger, as they are in pairs. For example: If you park at 1A, make sure 1B is unused. 2. If it was not a charger limit due to sharing charger with the Tesla that left at @8:50. Your car was not warm enough. During my charging sessions this first week, all after navigating to the charger i have seen that my preheated car peaks at 198 kW for a minute or two, and then very slowly drops to 130-140 kW where it stays until it reaches 80%. After that, it drops below 100 kW = It's time to leave the charger! ==== I am very pleased with the Zeekrs charging performance.
thanks for your detailed explanation. I Did not know that if your car was below 20% that the car doesn't pre heat (learned something new today) I'm 100% sure I Did not pre-heat the car so what you are saying if you preheat the car it can reach those 198kWh speeds that is pretty impressive and also what has been promised. but I think it's definitely Okay so nowhere near as bad as people saying below 50kWh or those kind of speeds
@@PrebenJohannesson interesting information I didn’t knew that though…but in the end if the charging spots are full you have no choice to charge slower
@@kayipexploresNo worries! I have done a lot of DC fast charging now during these first weeks now. Reached 204 kW twice yesterday when below 15%. It is charging great when ready to receive the power. Worst yet was charger related. 16/16 stalls full on a Tesla Supercharger. 33 kW received, no more, no less during 10 minutes before I left for another charger. (Just wanted to test it). 🎉

@@kayipexplores First I was a Bit disappointed that the Zeekr just Charged at 135 kWh but later it Improved to a real good Level for an 400V System. Hello, I will buy the flahship version in Mexico but it is not yet released and they do not have all the complete information. I wanted to ask you if they have the electric opening of the doors like in the Chinese version?
No the European versions don’t have automatic doors like the Chinese version I’m not quite sure why but it probably has to do with safety and regulations but for me it was not a deal breaker… any idea when it will be released in Mexico 🇲🇽?
@@kayipexplores It is officially presented this June 15, I already have my reservation, they tell me that they would deliver it to me in August. Another doubt I have is about autopilot, I have a tesla and autopilot is very good but I can't find information about it
@@upyoi331 I think I can answer that. I have been using this car for like 3 months already so I have a pretty good idea how the Autopilot works. I think it works similar to the Tesla Auto pilot (coming from a Tesla Model S you probably have some expectations). The only thing i would have issues with right now is probably it breaks a bit too much when cars are in front of you but this is just software...Zeekr can fix that. Also if you drive this car and have anything that you are not satisfied with you can drop an email to zeekr@support.eu and they will respond on that (definitely if it is software issue related they will pick it up and fix it)
@@kayipexplores Excellent thank you very much, you should upload a video of the autopilot it would be great. I'd love to see how it does before I get my hands on it
Isn't it a 800 volt system in that car 🤔 Try at ionity, and see if you can get over 350kw. You need 625 amp to charge 250kw at 400 volt. Tesla is a 400 volt charger. Ionity is 800 volt.
According to the official Zeekr website documentation which you can download from their website it is a 400 volts system. The new facelift version has the new 800 volt system I think …I can try and do the test anyways and see how the car reacts but I’m not sure how useful that is. I’ll think about it if I’m going to make a video at ionity if I’m reaching higher speeds than this
I'll keep that in mind to check the lens indeed :-) it was a bit dirty with dust I can see. But not sure If I will test Ionity but what HotelGolf82 said about pre-heating the battery could be affected as well (also there were a couple of Teslas charging too)...so the Tesla Supercharger might have reached 200 if everything was in a good state.
@@kayipexplores yeah, preheating is a must during long trips. But for an every-day driving more important is the power of the car's charger (11 or 22kW).
I got a caravan (2000 kgs) and will premiere towing it with the 001 21/6. If I remember, I can report back the results here.
