- My daughter and I are trying the same outfit in different sizes. Today we have a SHEIN plus & mid size haul and Emma picked it all without me knowing what she ordered till we opened it on screen.

💜I'm 5'5" and a Rectangular Apple shape. I carry most of my weight on my chest and belly.
💜I'm a UK size 22
💜Measurements: Bust: 125cm (36JJ) - Waist: 120cm - Hip: 130cm
EMMA MEASUREMENTS:
💜Emma is 5'7 and a Pear Shape with strong shoulders. She has a smaller bust and waist but bum.

I cannot tell you how much joy and fun this video brought me. Grinning the whole time. Your videos are always fun but Emma being on and running the show was just over the top. The two of you are so charming and beautiful and you piece your thoughts together wonderfully. And I appreciate how well your daughter received your feedback, I was too sensitive to be productive most of the time when I was her age, so she’s just brilliant!

I love how positive you were with telling your daughter that she should be proud of her body❤. When we were young I think we received a lot of negative comments if we weren’t ‘perfect’ and that’s why so many of us grew up so self critical which is so sad❤❤❤

I grew up being size small til 19 years, then with hormonal issues and eating disorder I gained weight and struggle with it mentally a lot. I am 29 now and wear L/XL and my mum just told me indirectly to loose weight cause I looked so much better small. I know shes right and i feel the same myself and so much healthier, but hearing it from her hurts so much. I always want so say: I know, you dont have to mention it…

I fully get it. It’s Very hard when others point out our weight but I’m sure your mum only has your best interest at heart. It’s such a delicate situation and it’s hard as a mum. We want the best for our babies but also don’t want to hurt them. Wishing you all the best beautiful lady xx

LOVED this video. Emma is just gorgeous! I actually thought the teddy skirt and cut out top looked fab on you but can see why you wereny keen. The cropped shirt, for me if you love it then try it with a white or black longer line singlet top/camisole or even a singlet dress (body con or flared)

This was so fun to watch😂 As you prefer to tuck in your shirts, wouldn't crop shirts achieve the same look? I'm closer to your daughter's shape, but almost 60 so haven't retained the shape as well of course 😊.
Oh good question but it’s a no. The shirt is loose and hang loose over the belly, drawing the eye to where I’m the widest. A tucked top will draw the eye to the waistband and as it’s tucked create the illusion of a smaller waist. The cropped shirt hides the waist.

You know what would be fun: she ordering things really far outside your comfortzone and vice versa, could be fun!!!
I saw somebody wear a fitted top underneath a cropped top so you would not see any skin and that's fab (well, I think so hihi) for us bigger girls ;-)
Emma, you are so right dear, there chould be pockets, in a lot more clothing!! Cause I really do need pockets (I have asthma and must always carry an inhaler with me.).
This frist outfit looks top on Emma but is a no go for you, Marleen, a lot of others, and me too!! We only can wear trousers (leggings) if we wear a top over it to hide or tummies!
Second outfit: lovely on both, so i do not agree with Emma, it looks good. I love the motive on the skirt, wish it was a sweater with that motive haha. The top is amazing on both!
Two hot tamales comming!! The earrings are fun. And Emma: love your nose piercing, I have one too but on the side (nostril), for many years already.
Outfit 3: WAUW, I so love the corset!!! But when you have more boobies like us, it can be a problem. I do have one (a black one) that is better for more boobs and love it, it's so sexy!! It was see-through at the bust but I sewed a beautiful gold-colored fabric into the cups, and that was much nicer. Everyone gives me compliments when I wear it. I wear it with black classic pants. And a see-through peplum top, black blazer and black booties. And golden juwels of course haha. Feel a 10000000000 bucks then. I'm color crazy (pink-red-purple and so on) so it's weird that I wear all black but this outfit is so worth it.
The pants are not my cup of tea, sorry.

I am a rectangular apple shape. And personally I don’t just go by the 5 shapes. I go more by the 12 set by trinny and suzannah. X
I was just about to subscribe but then I saw this Shein video 😞 super disappointing! Noone should buy stuff from Shein as they pollute the world with their ultra fast fashion plus extreme slave labour.
I wish we could say it is only shein that does this but sadly it’s many many many well know brands. Wishing you all the best x
