I don't think Rizal would be mad if GMA7 changed the plot in this one unique book owned by Alitaptap/Mr.Torres. If this is one of the effective way to get the attention of the Gen Z to read his novel, so be it. It's so much better than to let his books be left in a corner, to gather dust and rot there. To me, our national hero is like a wise and understanding grandfather who knows that times have changed. I think he's simply happy that the youth is having interest in his novels again. Well, that's just my opinion. Love and respect to all.

If I were the director. Hindi ko din Ifo-follow ang libro detail by detail. May twist akong ilalagay, kung ayaw nyong maging predictable ang show.

In historical kdrama they don't follow the real history that much. They blew up and exaggerate the achievements of the characters. I always research my favorite shows and i found out it's so far from the truth. The Korean audiences don't mind at all and simply support these shows. In return, the ratings get high and get aired in so many different countries that's why their series becomes famous around the world.
