Population increased the last two census, and new homes and businesses are literally moving in like crazy. It hasn't hit the neighborhoods this video went to, but areas like lower Broadway have seen a huge increase in development and safety and you are starting to see more of the central ward improving. Maybe it's time to go around the whole city and not just the west and south ward

When you love where you from it stays in your heart forever. However providing your family a better life & safer environment is priceless 👌🏾
Good tour of The Bricks, imagine if all of the old projects like Prince st, Scudder, Hayes, 7th Ave, Dayton st, Seth Boyden, Lil Bricks, Bradley Court, Baxter Terrace, Brick Towers and Grafton were still up. Now that would've been a tour of the REAL Newark. I think the only ones left are Hyatt, Pennington, Crane, The Spires and Georgia King Village. I have great memories growing up in Brick City.

The safest places to hang out there are probably Rutgers and NJIT campus sites. Although crimes can happen there, its not as common as most places.
