There's a pattern here. People that search and listen to this music, seem to long for a better way of life. How many of you I wonder, feel like prisoner's within the system? No matter how good, or bad your job is, how much do you long to live off the land, taking in natural landscapes and building your own way of life, naturally off grid. How many? I don't think that I am the only one here. Rural living, camp fire stories, growing your own food, building natural lodges, meditating, creating your own ale or mead. And to think that I was once a man of holidays, parties, shagging and following the crowd.
I’m right there with you. I hate this sick, feeble minded, degraded, cowardly and pathetic world of man. We used to be so much more. Nature and some megalithic structures are our only visible link to the greatness and beauty our being once possessed, before modern religion, materialism, “science” and the Industrial Revolution polluted our culture.

Wow. I'm sitting on a train through Sweden on my way to Stockholm crying. Until recently I was very depressed and near suicidal. I tried everything in modern medicine and nothing helped in the long run.
So I took mushrooms from the nature, in the nature, one time a few months ago. The experience was unexplainable. It felt religious to me. I felt mother earth's love for me for the first time. This music brought me back to that moment again. Thank you

I had a similar experience. I used to rely on SSRI's that really just numb completely then I took mushrooms and it changed my life.

Have a friend who I've been smoking DMT with for a few months and he's explained that his mild depression that he has from all his ailments has gone away. They legit do rewire your brain for the better, much better then any Big Pharma zombie drugs will ever do.

Now take mushrooms and go for a hike in the woods with headphones on and listen to this music. You will have an amazing time. Even by yourself.

When I listen to this, I see sunlit forests, where light and shadow rule in equal manner.
I see human shapes move around, at a distance, and their eyes follow my steps, as they move from tree to tree.
I see clearings with rune-marked stones, and ritual fires, where men with heads of wolf and deer chant for the glory of gods and the Sun.
I see men and women, fierce in their look, stand proud of who they are, willing to fight tooth, nail and blood for their home.
It's a wondrous trip through mists of time, and the music definitely evokes the shamanic, primal feeling. Slightly less viking, than tribal in my opinion, but still a delight to listen to.

I just learned my family has connections on both sides of my family to the nordic/viking peoples! I never knew that!
My father has Irish on his side, my mother has netherland peoples (austria) on her side, both came from viking genetics.
I love researching family trees! I found out my family is from Ireland and the lowlands of Scotland, according to the surnames it looks as though both are Traveler relations.
My mother also had family from Austria but my father has Scottish on his side

I had a experience that led me here one night awhile ago I had what can only be described as out of body experience I was in a different time and place speaking to another person in a language I dk at all yet I could understand it perfectly and his responses and I knew we were vikings in a long ago land. It explained alot of things in my present life so the next morning my man calls me first words out of his mouth are about a viking movie he watched and going on about vikings ( we are still in getting to know you phase, and apparently both fascinated by vikings and also have had many weird experiences between us) a few days later I see add for a awesome pendant w a viking compass on it and a card that has a saying that is absolutely perfect especially because of the way we met and our situation ( long story) anyway of course I bought it for him and started listening to this type of music and it's just a experience in and of itself I love it! Deep connection
I just started learning about my family tree, after learning I was related to the main characters in the show Vikings. Being a witch open to working with ancestors I’ve tried many ways to be more welcoming to them. While listening to this I got shivers down my spine and felt like I needed to scream with how much energy went through me. I’m deeply grateful to you for allowing me to hear this music. I’ll now be listening to this a lot in my spare time.

Sounds more celtic then norse, not really something i can really get into but it would be good background music in a pagan store.
After several hundred years the folk of the North were absorbed into the Celtic lands. No doubt over the time slaves taken to the North also brought their influence to the night's fires.
