I used to see not so nice feedback about When The Moon Hatched and lately I have been seeing positive things, which is amazing! Thanks for introducing Michae Marie. Yes! You are right. The Nightingale unleashed so many emotions out of me. 💔 Characterizations are on point. It was hard to decide what would be my #1 read is going to be, but I will upload my great books read in 2024 video soon!
Love that you had penelope ward on here. I really liked that book and did a deep dive into her and vi keeland's books this year. Solid reads. I have the nightingale on my TPR but will add things we cannot say. 💙
Most favourite read if the year 2024 was definitely the Ravenhood series by Kate Stewart. Especially Exodus and One rainy day broke my heart. All books are five star reads for me. For fantasy romance it’s definitely The Dawn of the cursed Queen from the Gods and Monsters series by Amber V. Nicole and Lady of Embers and Lady of Starfire from the Lady of darkness series. They were just perfect!
Hi Sam. happy new year! I read a lot of fantasy this year and my top read was The Green Bone Saga by Fonda Lee. Contemporary romance top 3 were: Forget me not (Julie Soto). Yours Truly (Abby Jimenez). Carrie Soto is back (TJR). I have The Women and Nightingale on my TBR in 2025. Will add the Things we can not say.
JFTS and The Things We Cannot Say also made it to my top favorites of the year!! Loved them both, especially The Things We Cannot Say, I just want to cry when I think about that book 💙 Can’t go wrong with Kristin Hannah and historical fiction in general. I keep going back and forth on my favorite book of the year but it’s between Words of Radiance, Beartown, and Six of Crows!
The Women was my favorite of the year. I also really loved The Things We Cannot Say. The Nightingale was one of my faves the year that I read it as well. This Could Be Us by Kennedy Ryan SLAYED me. Another fave was Don't Forget to Write by Sarah Goodman Confino. 💙
The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah was my number one book of 2024! I still think about it often, even though I read it the end of January! Such a great historical fiction that made me cry numerous times…Happy 2025🎉!!!💙💙💙
💙 You have quite an interesting list of great books. A book that I had enjoyed from 2024 is "One dark window" by Rachel Gillig, which IMHO was quite unique and captivating. Hopefully your 2025 reads will be just as great if not more..
Great recommendations! I’ve added these to my own TBR for 2025. On another note….what color are you wearing on your nails? It’s my favorite color 😊. I know, silly questions asked by your viewers. 🙃
